I purchased a brand new Leapmotor C10, and the lack of integrity from the sales team is staggering. First, I was gaslighted about basic accessories; the car was delivered without mats, and I was told they 'would come later'--I chased for months - they are very good at making excuses. I was only given one key, and the dealership acted like they were doing me a 'favour' by ordering a second one that should have been standard. Most shockingly, they charged me $499 + GST for a 'Wall Charger.' Every Leapmotor C10 comes with factory charging cables standard; I just noticed on an unsigned agreement they sent which means that - they essentially forced me to pay extra for equipment the car cannot function without. I brand new car had faulty battery and they took weeks to repair, then scratched my car and I had to fight so hard against gas lighting me that it again was my fault. Despite being promised a service plan at the time of sale, they are denying it exists and trying to charge me for my first annual service. Check your contracts carefully--or better yet, go to a dealer that values honesty. Terrible customer service and a complete lack of after-sales support. Do not buy from here.stay away.

Arrived at the center and asked them how long it would take and the guy said a little more than an hour. After waiting for nearly 1 and half hrs, I went back to check what was wrong and they said they were waiting for some parts and it would take another half hr ... so I kept waiting .. and to cut a long story short .. it took them more than 4 hrs to complete the work and didn't even apologize. The receptionist had the nerve to say I should have booked in advance! ! Having said that the person who did do the wof was extremely efficient .. but unfortunately the front of house staff were not!

I needed a new tyre which was at a good price and within very short time got my new WOF done. Stress-free work shop and great friendly service from the staff. Please be aware that for modern…read morecars it does NOT fully include the 4.5L of oil and an additional charge will be required costing approximately $40+. Included is standard mineral oil and not synthetic oil which most cars in the last 10+ years use. This is not clear on the website nor was I told this on the phone when booking. Only found out when I dropped the car off. Too late to go elsewhere as I was leaving for a 500km trip the next day. I believe in 2021 standard oil is synthetic oil (not special oil - whatever special oil is?) and that Midas are breaching the Fair Trading Act. I have lodged a complaint with the Commerce Commission and suggest others do the same. NOTE 1: Both the Midas Howick/Somerville owner and the Company's Franchise Manager were argumentative and not in the least bit interested in my concerns - very poor customer service. NOTE 2: Some Auckland branches do include synthetic oil as part of the service so ring around or go elsewhere.
