I appreciated that he was willing to work with me on the project details and costing throughout the inspections. While some contractors I talked with went dark, he was never dismissive, and he had revisions ready for me in a timely fashion. SPR did a great job on the front yard landscaping I requested, which involved two different fences around the perimeter of my property, a new drought tolerant design for the front yard along with a list of plants, and pavers for a nice stone pathway. Agustin offered very insightful suggestions throughout the process while understanding my needs for the design. He was always on time and had full transparency on project timelines and goals for each day. Agustin and his team were willing to go above and beyond on the requests I had throughout the project. They were flexible enough to handle things like custom fittings around the property and finding creative solutions to issues that popped up. Agustin also made sure that everything was in working order even after they finished. The cleanup process was immaculate as well. He even followed up with additional communication and check-ins which I have never seen before. Most contractors are checked out the moment they're done. Gerald came out to estimate our back fence which conveniently (not) decided to lean over into our neighbor's yard. We accepted the estimate, did one change order (to add extra feet), and settled on a construction date. Today, Gerald, Saul, and Reuben arrived on time and with everything ready to go. Saul and Reuben are amazing! They worked tirelessly all day, communicated so well, and were cheerful throughout. It was wonderful to have them around. I couldn't believe that they were able to put in a 2' retaining wall and 25' of fence in one day - so much digging! When they left, everything was clean and nice. I'm including a photo, but we are the ones who stacked stuff in front of the fence to keep the dog from getting into the setting concrete. Disclaimer, my neighbor wanted to get our shared fence redone and he was the one that sought out…read morethis company. I just paid for my half when the new fence was up. I have no complaints about the fence. They finished everything in one day. With that said, I am deducting a star because the crew tripped my breaker box. They plugged in a battery (Milwaukee? It was red. See photo) to the outlet I had a licensed contractor install to a recent closet extension in my backyard. I'm not sure how they even found that outlet as it's not close to the shared fence and is hidden by the A/C unit. I'm also not sure why they were that deep in my backyard when they were just supposed to be working on installing the new fence. If they had simply asked for permission to plug in the battery, this wouldn't have been an issue. I saw the battery charging as I was checking on the progress of the fence throughout the morning and thought nothing of it. It wasn't until that evening where I noticed that all the outlets in the back room didn't work that I started questioning the reason for the outage. After racking my brain and attempting to reset the breaker box, it dawned on me that it was because one of the workers was charging their battery. I don't know the voltage of the battery that they were charging, but it was too much for that outlet. They should've just used an outlet from my neighbor.
