Extremely rude "doctor" new to the practice, Before hand I lost a crown 3 separate times after a painful root canal experience all to loose the tooth the 3rd time... They don't have to replace the tooth. so it doesn't matter to them. They get to bill me more with a root canal then cap inserted. They messed up my front tooth I got root canal on. Filled it in on my request but the tooth feels not buffed down where I have almost creases in my tooth. Now to my last visit there today.. I had my second to last root canal done last week and now this doctor is screaming at me in the chair about how he can loose his license and he's not doing his job the right way if he just fills my perfectly shaped tooth that barely had a a crack in in the first place... it's all about the Benjamin's. They refused to work on me bc I was upset (crying) bc I really wasn't comfortable with a cap. Also he was talking shit in the hall where I could hear him telling me to go somewhere else if I don't like it. I payed money to uber there as a single mom. They were so unprofessional and proved it's all about money and what charges more with the arrogant statement that was made about me wanting something else to help me keep my natural tooth... I've had teeth problems my whole life I know they could have filled it in instead of a cap... "it would be too expensive for me" Which means my insurance isn't covering.. The staff here are wonderful! I had horrible tooth pain and they opened on a Sunday morning at 9am to give me emergency care!!! They are always welcoming and friendly, very professional and thorough. Dr Zaher Hammound and his staff are caring and gentle and listen to your concerns. They explain things so you understand. Nancy the receptionist welcomes you, and with Nancy and Dr. Hammoud and his staff put you at ease. I highly recommend them! Don't we mostly grow up with a learned fear of the dentist? What's the cause? The sound of that terrifying drill? The rattling noise of the compounds being mixed up to fill the crater in a tooth that your mom told you would happen if you didn't stop with the candy. The 'quiet before the storm'? The simple fear of the unknown? Today I took a chance on a new business in town. Sure, there were some that had **** but where were they? Even though into my search vehicle I inserted 'Rockland' the Rockland dentists had no ratings & the ones who did have ratings were elsewhere. Now I am not exactly what one would refer to as a hermit. I have travel paths. Know where this and that road go but not the names of the roads and/or buildings (with the exception of the local hospital). This new office had a sign saying "Walk-Ins Welcome". To myself I querried: is this really a Dental office? Never heard of walk-in-service in a dental office yet, low and behold on Market Street {also known as Route 123 Rockland, MA There she stood. Parking lot. Beautiful building. Decor relaxing. Amazing colors. Today I had an extraction. Even Though the tooth fractured, the Doc. was skilled, patient, asked about my concern/s, pain, asked me if I would like to know what he is doing -or- not. Asked Dr. how old I would have been when the tooth 'came in'. "Around 12 years old". I'm 66 now. Other dentists have taken care of my teeth previously. . . But not my mind & spirit. No more. Well, I must say if it had not been for meeting Dr. Zaher and his lovely wife Rima at Quality Dental Care in Quincy MA people probably wouldn't even notice my teeth. Having a phobia for the dentist as a result of my childhood experiences I took a chance and stepped out in Faith and walked into their dental practice. I was onto greeted with a warm Smile and introduce to Dr. Hammoud Who talked with me and learned of my fears, Dr. Hammoud assured me that he would give me a million dollar smile and that wouldn't regret my coming in.. As a result of out first meet we've become good friends. And I've been cheesing ever since !!!! Beware when you get a quote from this place. They do not run insurance pre-estimates and expect that you know every detail of your dental (like white amalgam is not fully covered). They quote you a lower price and then the insurance bills you for 3x the amount. I went elsewhere and now get accurate quoting and care. They refused to settle up on my bill and the office manager claimed "those are the rates". They were not understanding. read more

The best dental office you will ever visit! The staff is super friendly, Rima, the doctor's wife is nice, and has a very welcoming smile. Transferring to this dental office was the best decision I've ever made. They have a little play are for the kids and the practice is warm and inviting. Dr. Hammoud is very gentle and I was very scared when I was getting my extraction done, but you don't feel a thing even when he inserts the novocaine.
