Very apologetic is the best I can say for these folks. They promised our custom swinging gates…read morewould be installed within two weeks. A month later, they delivered two gates that looked like they had been manufactured by a 12-year-old. All measurements were wrong, and worse, irregular, with vertical bars spaced unevenly and at slants so that some where 4" apart at the top and 8" apart at the bottom. Also, the materials were wrong, and the gate arch, which was supposed to be a single low bell curve meeting at the gate opening, was instead two bell curves, one per gate. The fabrication was horrible overall, sloppy would be too generous a description. When I refused the gates and pointed out all that was wrong, they apologized, saying they had used a recommended fabricator (the blame game began here). That was a Monday. They then promised they would have the gates completely rebuilt by a different fabricator, this time to spec, and have them installed by Friday, or possibly Saturday at latest. The following Tuesday (eight days later), I called to ask where my gates were. They were almost finished, I was told, and they would be delivered the next day, Wednesday, and installed then. At 11:11 a.m. Wednesday, they texted me to say they were outside. I went out to look a the gates. They appeared to be the exact same gates with the metal pickets disconnected and re-welded in a nearer to spec fashion, but the top arches were still wrong. It had now been over a month, and they still were simply apologizing (again) for t he poor quality re-fabrication. I told them to place a refund check for my $5410.00 (1/2 the total) down payment in my hand and take their gates and leave. They did. The refund (assuming their check doesn't bounce) is the only thing I can say they did promptly. If there were a NO STARS option, I would pick it. Use these newcomers to the industry at your own risk. They are awful.

I would give them 0 if it would allow it. They call potential customers asking if they want a free estimate on replacing their siding or their windows but I've never requested any services that they offer yet, I still received a phone call this morning from a lady I think her name was Jennifer asking if I would like a free quote on new windows or siding I Asked her how did you get my information? Because no I don't want any siding quotes or window quotes she didn't want to tell me where she got that information from and she hung up on me so then I called back a number I found on Google there main office number for her area which is in Texas and he didn't want to disclose where He got my information from either . We purchased an investment property and it needed updated along with new windows. My mom moved into the property, she is elderly and has severe health problems. She has to keep the temp at 72-75 to prevent her body from hurting and locking down. Her heater has constantly been running. Kyle came over, measured the windows and got them ordered. They came in and his crew started working on installing. They are so experienced and professional they did one window at a time so my mother wouldn't be in any discomfort. The installed 19 windows in 1 day. And came back the next to finish wrapping. By the time they left on day 1 within 20 minutes my mom had to turn down the heat. It was keeping warm and holding the temperature. I've always heard new windows would help with energy bills but I fully believe it now. It's an investment into our investment property. Quality Exteriors is Amazing! They completely revitalized and modernized the exterior of my home, and surprisingly enough, the same can be said for the interior. I would have never imagined that new windows would change the feel of the inside of my home this much. When I bought my home, I knew I would need to do something about the old, dark, wood windows that were stuck in the 70's. They were heavy, hard to open and close, and impossible to clean. The amount of dust, dirt, and air they let in on an average West Texas day was hard enough to deal with. Never mind days when the wind really started blowing. After meeting with David and going over all the different options he had for my house, I knew I was in good hands. It has been six months since my new windows were installed, and the difference is incredible. The rooms feel bigger. I have more natural light. I don't have to dust near as often. My house was built in 1983 and the windows had accumulated some water damage over the years. It was time to replace them. All (16) of them! I requested quotes from three different vendors in the Lubbock area. Quality Exteriors was by far the lowest quote. I was very pleased with quality of the windows and with the installation. It took (2) days to install and clean up. The sales team and the installation crew are excellent people and very easy to work with. One other point I would like to mention is the quote process. Once you place your order the quoted price is locked in. Even if they missed something during their initial inspection of the old windows they will not charge you any more. This was key for me, since it was a big job. Bottom line I highly recommend Quality Exteriors! Can't beat the price, product or service. read more

Quality Exteriors put in all new windows in our house on 4-28-20. My wife and I absolutely love the new windows. The process was painless, the guys were awesome, and they did all the work in one day. The windows are great quality windows that look amazing and we got it all done for a very reasonable price, especially compared to the other quotes we got. You can tell they take pride in their work. All the windows are tightly fit and sealed, every little detail is perfect, and our house was as clean when they left as when they got here. They even took down and put back up the blinds and window dressings for us when they were done. He quoted window replacement (for a significant amount less than an out of town company quoted a couple years ago), skirting replacement, and replacing a couple of siding panels. There was a miscommunication about the scheduled start date and they were short some skirting materials that extended the finish date. The crew (Henry and Greg) were polite, considerate, and skilled. They never left the house open - as quick as they pulled a window out they had a new one in - and even though they couldn't finish the skirting they used other material to keep the underside closed until they did finish. And the trim they installed around the inside of the windows looks great! Dave came by when the work was done to inspect the job and collect the check, waiting until the job was all the way finished to ask for payment. I will recommend D & B Ultra Exteriors to anyone that needs windows, siding, or skirting.

UPDATE: 7/2023 The first two sliding patio doors had to be…read morere-ordered due to the original measurements being wrong by several inches. (These are $15K each. We did not have to pay for their mistake.) Ultimately, the new doors were ordered and installed correctly after several more weeks. BUT this is because our project had their best contractor/installer (Anthony) on it. Anthony did a fantastic job, and was apologetic for all the issues (obviously, he personally had nothing to apologize for - but his employer does). The local supervisor/foreman quit the same day he visited with the new installer, and realized the measurements were incorrect. The installer (nor us) had any idea the foreman was about to quit (after abt. 4 months on the job); but he inherited all the problems. At no point during this time, did anyone from Pella management (in Dallas) bother to contact us, provide more context, or just as a basic courtesy. They were entirely hands-off, leaving all the issue to the local office, which is apparently in bad shape. To Pella North Texas: SHAME ON YOU. This is BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. 100% Stand-up for your product/service. Don't just leave your employees/crew and customers blowing in the wind. To Pella Corporate: If your associates who operate at the local level can't get their act together, then perhaps you should consider pulling your license/sales agreements... assuming you care about your brand. Case in point: We will never do business with Pella (any location) ever again.

The salesman came over and told us that he could order and install a door that would fit the opening. After waiting 6 weeks for the "special order" door to arrive, it was brought to our business by the installers. After removing the old door, and attempting to install the new door, they discovered that they had ordered the wrong door. They called their boss and he informed them that it was a standard door and that we would have to enlarge the opening. The installer stated that we would get a refund because we didn't get our "special order" door, yeah that didn't happen. After getting the opening enlarged, which by the way cost an additional $1200, the installers came back 3 different times to install the door. They were unable to get it level and square. Eventually had to hire another contractor to level and square and finish the door. They will give you all kinds of excuses why they can or can't do something, but if you want it done correctly call someone else.

He was replacing the floor, he " forgot" to price installing the baseboard. A custom cabinet was built and yet has never drilled holes for hardware. Painting was terrible.. "trash" on cabinets. He was supposed to paint existing bathroom vanity yet they demolished it. They took the mirror off of the bathroom wall and never replaced it. He said there was never a mirror in the bathroom. They left a huge mess of construction debris. I asked them to clean the house so it would be move in ready , Clint replied, "this is a lipstick job, so I don't need to do that!" A $35,000 lipstick job!" The costs for construction ballooned from $24,000 to 35,000 and I bought ALL of the materials. including handprints in grout on the newly placed front door. The entryway light and ceiling fans worked when the remodel was started yet they don't work now! The guy they contracted to skim coat the walls tried to steal all of the materials on site. This guy also stole my dolly. Clint is an unprofessional ass and thief!

They were fast, prompt, and always courteous. We have received so many compliments from our neighbors on the work they did. We will absolutely use them again in the future.
