I AM RATING THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH A COMPANY THAT WAS NOT QUALITY BUT SENT TO ME BY THEM AS THEY COULD NOT SEND ONE OF THEIR OWN TECHS. Again, this is not usual behavior for Quality but they used a "fill in" company as they could not get one of their techs out to do my job. Be careful about Sunday repairs, because the tech may not be from Quality and that could be why I had problems but my prior ratings with Quality, the company I have used in the past, was 4 STARS . Also they intervened on my behalf after hearing my saga and made sure the job was finally completed. So the tech arrived on the Sunday afternoon after promising to be there in the morning, I was desperate so I ok'd that - we were leaving town the next day for 2 weeks and I wanted the door springs replaced and the door operational before I left. I was quoted a price over $1200 for 2 springs, a guide roller wheel and the service charge. It was Sunday and I was desperate! The tech the presumably repaired the door and left. We came home 2 weeks later and the door wouldn't open, apparently the tech put the wrong springs on (without knowing it?) and also unable to give us a heads up that repair was temporary. I called and was told the tech would be there first thing the next morning. He came nearly 6 PM and did not have the proper springs so did not complete the repairs. He returned the next day with the proper springs and did the repair. Ultimately he also tried to sell me a new bar for the spring mounting and a new garage panel for $1000 or a whole door for a discounted rate of $4000. I advised Quality about this and they were very helpful in making sure the tech was out to my house with the proper springs. Next time, no Sunday repairs for me unless I personally know the tech who will be doing the work. My apologies to Quality if they feel slightly by my review but they did send that tech over . read more

Overcharged and Dishonest. Stay away! I was charged $468 for a 45 minute job that basically straightened out a roller bracket... no new parts. For that I was charged $179 for "Starting reset fee," $150 for "General rebuilding/modifying," $99 for "Flat labor rate," and $40 for "Service call trip and diagnosis fee"... that's over $10 per minute! I complained to Mitch that these charges were duplicative and he offered some reimbursement, which he never paid. I've tried to reach him several times, but no call back. I was happy with the technician and the installation of my new garage door. However, I was told that they would take care of the permitting. I contacted Bri many times and she said it was being handled. Now, over 6 months later the county contacted me to say an inspection was never scheduled by the company and I have a limited time before I have a problem. I emailed and got no response. Update to December 2020 rating - After our concerns reached the manager, the employee came out and put in two garage door openers so we would be able to use remotes. The work was done quickly and efficiently, but it was a hassle getting to that point. If the technician had arrived at the time and date that he first started and done the work, this rating would have been 5 star. read more

Conner diagnosed the problem and installed a new garage door opener. He came back to install a keypad. He did a very professional job.

We ordered a custom garage door back in October 2023 due to a non-standard height. We were told that the turnaround time would be approximately one month since it was a custom made door, which we completely understood. However, we made a follow up phone call to them several times after the date it was supposed to be ready, and they kept saying each time that the door was not ready yet. It is January 18, 2024 and we are still waiting for our garage door. They setup an appointment to install the garage door today between 10-12, and after several calls to them, they finally told us that they wouldn't be able to honor today's appointment because they were running behind on their other jobs for the day. When I tried to re-schedule for tomorrow, they said we had to wait until Tuesday now because they already have appointments scheduled for Friday and Monday. Whoever is scheduled for tomorrow should be pushed until after our job is completed since we were scheduled today. We also had to make several phone calls to them to work out the details of the building permit. I'm beyond frustrated with this company. read more
