We had our garage door break on a Sunday. Eric had the best and and the largest number of reviews so I gave him a call. Answered on the first ring (on a Sunday). Set up a time that would work for us inside 24 hours of our call. Came to the house, sized it all up and - rather than stick us for a whole new door system - he let us know it would only take a new spring to have the system back up and running. What a relief! Eric told us his philosophy - he doesn't fix anything that doesn't need it and he charges everyone the same fair prices for his fine work. How can you want anything more than that? He was done in less than an hour (as he carries supples on his truck). The price was very fair and we were all super happy to see everything fixed so fast. Eric stopped before leaving to help us program a door opener and didn't watch the clock while he did, he was just happy to help out. A few months ago one of my springs broke leaving my garage door inoperable. Unfortunately we used a different company to replace the broken spring and that company turned out to be a scam. They convinced us we needed parts that were unnecessary while also charging a price for a higher quality product and then installing a similar but cheaper part. This led to the door eventually breaking again and coming off the track. When I reached out to that company nobody ever answered or got back to us. Luckily that's when I found Eric's United Garage. Eric was very professional and understanding from the moment I first spoke to him on the phone. He was completely honest with me about what needed to be done and unfortunately in this case what needed to be undone by the previous company. We had to replace most of the parts that were used by the previous company like the drums and wires. The door is now working properly and sounds incredibly smooth and quiet. We called this past Fri early evening . No promises but Pablo said he would try to come over that night . A few hours later he showed up ! Was able to locate the parts we needed & they could fix it the following day . Someone did come , he was able to replace the door In about 4 hours . Tho he lacked social graces he did a beautiful job . Only minus - when I went to pay him he wasn't wearing a mask . I questioned him & he reluctantly wrapped his tee shirt around his face .
