The ensuite bathroom was small but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. The room also had a well-stocked fridge with drinks and snacks, coffee & tea-making facilities and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV. They serve good hearty breakfasts in a pleasant dining room, and it's all maintained by hospitable and friendly - but not overbearing - hosts. I'd recommend Beaumont House without hesitation.

The property is set back off the main road and features a free car park for guests. This location doesn't seem to participate in the 29gbp/night campaign -- my rates ranged from 57-62gbp/night during my stay. They do take their 'good night stay' guarantee seriously and will comp you for a night if you encounter any problems during your stay. The room is equipped with basic creature comforts -- a comfortable bed, a 13" color TV with Freeview digital cable, a desk. However, travellers should bring a own travel alarm and/or your mobile phone, as the rooms have neither a clock radio nor a telephone to receive a wake up call. The Premier Inn in Lowestoft isn't intended to be a destination in an of itself -- but, all things considered, it's an inexpensive and clean hotel to spend a few nights while in town on business or exploring the area.

The beds took so getting used to as they were quite stiff and for me the lift was pretty scary but I got okay with it by the second day. It's not like a normal lift u stand in punch your floor number then the 3 walls around u move between the doors which I can see moving as u pass. All booked rooms come with a full English breakfast every morning which was very nice and all of the staff were very helpful and kind (they even helped me figure out the little chair that helps me up the step from the entrance to the check in desk.)
