Stayed there on an emergency basis when I was stranded at the airport in Jan 2024 due to weather. I have nothing bad to say about the front desk manager (a nice person!) and the shuttle service. The heater worked well. Though the bath was quite confusing, with the water coming out freezing cold when the handle was on red, but coming out hot when the handle was on blue. A note to immunocompromised/disabled travelers, it would be nice if there were Covid filtration/mask precautions for disabled travelers, especially because we're still in a Covid pandemic and Long Covid is a proven defibrillating condition. read more

A hotel stay here should be presented ... to anyone you hate! Upon check in, I wasn't greeted by the Indian female clerk in her 20s. She glared at me and said " I need an ID. " I asked if they greeted guests. She said she said hello but I didn't hear her. I suppose it was telepathically and only Lestât heard it! I was given room 145 where there was a ring around the tub and hair in the drain. A little welcoming gift I suppose, like a bottle of champagne on the bed. I complained to the middle aged, Indian female clerk, in person because there was NO phone in the room. She looked at the pic and said, "Oh the tub is just peeling." I However, she was speechless when presented with the pic of trash and wad of hair resting atop the drain. I was relocated to a handicap accessible room. I moved to 118 where the fire alarm, um looked to have been in a fire. The bathroom mirror also appeared burnt. The bath towel was ink stained and there was only one bar of soap in a room with two beds. I asked the middle aged female clerk again if the extra soaps were missing. She responded that each room only gets one bar because guests waste soap. It gets better. I asked for an extra blanket and she asked if they weren't on the bed. I told her yes but I'm cold. She said she'd bring it in 15 minutes. I guess the soap police pulls double duty as the blanket police. The plot thickens! Four hours later, I walked to the desk to inquire about the blanket. The middle aged clerk said she'd brought it to room 145 but then another guest wanted it. I asked why would she take it to 145 when she personally moved me to 118. She said she forgot. Another rocket scientist. The stay from Hell keeps getting more interesting. I asked the morning Indian male clerk 30s, where can I find jelly. He said they dont have jelly. I told him I was making toast. He told me to use butter! I have to run and purchase three gift cards for my frenemies, ciao! read more

The carpet was wet The toilet leaked The bed spreads had burn marks on them even thought its a no smoking facility The light fixtures are falling apart. From the outside... the hotel looks OK at best. But once you enter the doors you know they spraypainted the stairs handrail and made sure to hit the carpet as well. Based on our experience, the front desk clerk should ask the question, "Would you prefer a roach room or a mold room?" The first room we were condemned to was room 140. When we were sitting in th room after an evening out is when we began to notice the apparent permanent residents of this room. the cockroaches were having a playdate under the beds and began roaming around. Looking at a review from 4 months ago the same room was mentioned as having . We went to the lobby and they moved us to room 175. When we inspected this room before moving out stuff in we lifted the mattresses in the double beds and this room was cleaner and no signs of the permanent residents. But there was a smell. It smelled of ammonia, cat pee... amd there was mold on the ceiling outside the shower. Well we needed to sleep. So we did. This morning I was sitting on the loo as you do in the morning and the ceiling began to drip on me. THE TURTLE RETREATED and I could no longer go. Went to use the lobby bathroom and mid go the cleaning lady used the key to open the door without even knocking. Surprise pooping man for the win. Please take all of the reviews here seriously. They are not taking any of the reviews seriously. They don't care. The poor staff here have to deal with the backlash while the owners do nothing to fix the property. Drug addicted, experiencing homelessness, Abusers, crime, and more are plaguing this property. I didn't check Yelp reviews before booking on Expedia, which was my absolute first mistake. They get 5 stars on their staging of pictures for Expedia because it didn't look like a dungeon online. I figured I'm just staying a night before taking my daughter to the airport in the morning, so I didn't need anything fancy. The hotel is an absolute crap hole and I don't even think I'll be staying the night here. The room smells, the hotel is creepy, the "double beds" are so tiny, the hotel overall is poorly kept and I'm honestly not even sure I'm safe here with 2 kids. We checked in and the front desk guy was nice, and check in was quick. We were put in the wayyyyyyyyyyyy back of the hotel on the 1st floor so we had to walk all the way down the dirty, creepy hallway to our room. The room had no toilet paper, poor lighting and smelled terrible. I really don't think I'll finish my stay here and I'll just lose out on the $110 this cost me. read more

I needed a place close to the airport with early morning shuttle service, check! 5 stars. My call to the front desk prior to arrival Fourth of July afternoon was answered by Danny. Good customer service. He confirmed my res. and said it would be no problem to check in at 2 PM and leave my luggage. When I arrived, Danny was at the front desk, very friendly, and gave me a room. I left my luggage and went to visit the Gateway Arch and see the evening fireworks. When I returned at 11:30, the room's A/C hadn't been on and wasn't even plugged in. When plugged in it still didn't work. I went to the front desk and was given Room 218. A/C was on. In bed at 12:30. Up at 4 AM for the early morning shuttle. Upon arriving home and by the evening, I found I had 9-bed bug bites (in the bed less than 4 hours). I just hope that none came home with me in my suitcase or on my person. read more

Listen, I never leave reviews but this one was ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!!! As a military member, I frequently go on trips for work which includes hotel stays from time to time, but this WAS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE! Firstly, my reservation was made through A third party company. I reserved a room with a single king bed. However, upon arrival they placed me in a room with two full size beds. I went to the front desk, expressed my issue, and come to find out they had just taken the room I had paid for and given it to another person so then in turn they take someone else's and gave it to me.. completely unorganized from the get go. Fast forward, I go to my next room, and it's even worse than an accidental mix up.. firstly.. THE SMELL!!!! It was overpowering to say the least. Secondly, the sheets were DISGUSTING, and covered in.. well one can only imagine.. and there was blood on the mattress pad.. it just continued to get worse... I went back down to the desk to kindly ask for new linens and towels (the towels were brown, and had definitely been used and unwashed). The way they responded seemed like they were used to this, like it was no big deal. I will say I appreciated the patience, but how can you be used to something like this?!?! QUALITY INN?!?! WITHOUT ANY QUALITY?!?! Ironic. They sent a gentleman up to the room to assist me with new linens. He asked me what I needed, to which I responded all new linens. Instead of just retrieving them he just invited himself into the room and said "show me". After pointing out all the issues he then just asked if we needed another room, I can only assume it was just so he didn't have to clean this one. Assuming it's ever even been cleaned to begin with.. I told him I didn't want another room I just wanted new linens. About 15 minutes later the gentleman brought up all new linens, as requested. THIS IS WHERE THE CHERRY TOPS THE CAKE!!!! I strip the rest of the linens off the bed and when I go to put the new sheets on, I lift up the mattress TO FIND A LOADED SYRINGE UNDERNEATH!!!! I immediately stop what I'm doing and go back down to the front desk to request a refund. They sent me back up to the room with a phone number to request the refund being as I booked through a third party. The number didn't work for one, nobody even flinched when I told them about the needle for two, and upon further inspection there was hair chunks, blood and dead bugs all underneath the mattress as well!!!! I was able to get my refund, unfortunately not the full amount, but if I had to be there for 5 more minutes I would have paid to leave. Awful! If it were possible, I would've left zero stars. Ive stayed with quality inn for the past year after a flood and subsequent series of unfortunate events left me and my small family homeless. This hotel is by far the worst experience ive ever had as making a reservation here left me without a room for the night with the closest option almost an hour away with 1/4 tank of gas left in the car when the weather is getting cold at night. Weve stayed off and on at this location over the past 3 months with no issue, and no mention of a deposit. I called before we stayed the first night and asked directly about it and was told then, they wouldnt require a deposit. Fast forward three months, and all of a sudden wouldn't ya know, they want a $100 deposit when we've stayed 2 nights in the past week with no mention of this. To be clear, we barely even mess the beds up when we sleep simply because i find their pillows and blankets uncomfortable and prefer to use my own. Let alone damage the room or otherwise leave it in an unkempt manner apart from using the towels and trying to cram what trash we generate into their tiny little can. Which theres only 1 per room. The issue is deeper than that. First, the people are hard to understand and barley speak english. Theres literally one microwave for the whole building save for room 231 which actually has an archaic microwave that still works and mustve slipped through their miserly fingers. Breakfast? Forget about it. You're lucky to get luke warm/room temperature milk and stale bagels. Oh and you dare not try and take anything back to your room and enjoy Breakfast with your loved ones within the peaceful solice and comfort of your room over Saturday morning cartoons. No, dont try it. Youll be stopped, scolded or otherwise told that thats not allowed. The loudness of the airport and passenger jets taking off and landing overhead could almost be overlooked or drowned out by watching tv, but then you realize the remotes barely work, and every. Single. Tv. Is different you never know if youre going to get one that only has audio in spanish, has all the cable channels, or movies for that matter. Alot of things could be over looked with a friendly smile and a willingness to work through a problem. But the people there will never greet you like that. In my experience there, weve always been met with cold callousness behind indifferent eyes. We will never stay there again. read more

Stayed here for 1 night in St. Louis prior to heading home. We stayed here primarily because it was inexpensive and due to its close proximity to the airport. The hotel definitely was what it was for the price point that we paid for. The hotel seemed a bit beat up, but the room itself was OK. By no means am I saying it was a super clean hotel room, but it was clean enough for a short 1 night stay. I don't know if we could have stayed here for any longer than 1-2 nights. As with many Quality Inns or Choice Hotels, there was a slight musty smell to the room as well, but it didn't bother us too much. The room had a small refrigerator, office table, chair and a small flat screen TV with plenty of cable channels. The breakfast in the morning was complimentary, but not a buffet, and we had to go to the front desk in the morning to get the voucher. The voucher was for a complimentary breakfast at the Golden Pancake Restaurant next door. The breakfast comprised of 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage links and home fries with a coffee or orange juice. It was a very small breakfast, but the waitress we had was nice. I can't recommend this hotel for people who are used to staying at 4-star hotels because it will make your skin crawl a bit, but if you're in need of a quick 1-night stay prior to flying out, this hotel should do it. read more

Quality Inn is a lie! There is no quality to this chain. This is the second quality Inn we have stayed in while in St Louis. The pictures look nothing like the room. Here for business using the app from hubby work. This place is run down and scary. Signs in the parking lot. Park at your own risk. The front desk staff was not friendly. Blankets are stained from food. They do not look; they were washed from the last guest. No air conditioning in common areas, the stair railing is not safe as it is very wiggly. The practice of removing posts can be a testament to the ongoing refusal of an entity or entities in acknowledging actuality. In terms of my visit, the positive aspects included the cleanliness of the room and building as well as the quiet environment, but they paled in comparison to the downsides such as the vending machines being out of order. Other negative characteristics of my visit pertained to the staff. A brusque clerk did not offer any estimate for the hotel shuttle's arrival time at the airport; I waited for nearly one hour before calling back to receive some poor excuse for rationalizing why the vehicle was running late. A similar problem was encountered during my day of checking out; I was in a group of approximately ten travelers who left in the shuttle for the airport at roughly one hour after the scheduled departure. (I thought that I was going to miss my flight, but I fortunately did not.) I'm so thirsty, all three vending machines were out of water, go to front desk to ask for a bottle of water, she directs me to the vending machines, inform her they are out she directs me to the gas station a few business' down. When you factor in the price of just parking at the airport for a week and eating a hot breakfast (included), this hotel's park and fly rate is absolutely fantastic. If you're looking for a bargain by the airport that includes a shuttle, breakfast, and parking, this might be your kind of place. But unfortunately, they really missed the opportunity to be a great discount property. Let's start with the positives: Service was pretty good. Check in was seamless. When the drain in my shower stopped working, the front desk clerk came down to my room within minutes to help me move to another. However, the two shuttle drivers I encountered could learn a little about customer service. The onsite restaurant is fantastic for what it is. I ate two meals there. For dinner, I had one of the best $8 burger and fries ever eaten. The included breakfast is a great value, including pancakes, meat, eggs, and coffee. Be aware that there are no substitutions AT ALL (all I wanted was a glass of milk instead of coffee--this is a little stingy). In any case, this on site food is above and beyond what a hotel of this class needs to offer. Very well done. Now, for the not-so-good: The rooms that I stayed in were adequately clean, but still had cleanliness issues. Windows were filthy, many bed linens (all besides sheets) obviously hadn't been washed in a while. The tub in the first room I received had a broken drain. There were things in the room that could easily have been fixed which were overlooked. The shower curtain was falling off the wall, the table next to the chair was falling apart, the cover on the A/C unit had fallen off and was just placed against the wall, the clock wasn't set... the list goes on. Things like this are simple to fix and really detract from my experience. Lastly, the shuttle service was also quite inconsistent. Going out to the airport, it was at the hotel right on time. Coming back, it took 3 calls to the front desk and 24 minutes (I timed it) to arrive. During that time, everyone else from my flight waiting for hotel shuttles had been picked up long before my shuttle arrived. This left a very bad taste in my mouth. This hotel is passable, but nothing more. If they'd just put forth a little more effort, it could be a very nice budget property. If you booked it, you'll be ok. But I can't say I'd highly recommend it. read more

This was a horrific place. First and foremost, the bathrooms were falling apart. The bathtub didn't have any abrasive stickers on the inside and my wife slipped and bashed her face. When I told the hotel manager he said he would do something for us after our three day stay. When we checked out he slipped me the receipt and he had taken $30 off our $289 bill. Not even a compensated day or anything. When I called Choice Hotels, the chain that owns Quality Inn they told me they couldn't do anything about it because this was a franchise and they were not responsible for its total crappiness. So completely unprofessional. And, to make things worse, the concrete is falling apart in the swimming pool. Big chucks were lying on the ground. Our six-year-old was walking over broken pieces. We arrived at the hotel at 1030am and wasn't able to check in until 1235pm due to we had to wait for guest to check out and house keeping to clean the rooms or attempt to clean the rooms we had a total of four rooms one of rooms was in good condition one room the air conditioner was leaking water on the carpet which left an odor the next had no phone in it no frig as well the last room there were cleaning issues the tub had residue in it only thing the staff did was to confirm that the air conditioner was leaking and that was it no repairs or corrections were made. read more

Wow - I'm not even sure what to say. It was 38 degrees outside and I was waiting outside for an Uber (dropped off my car at Hertz and waiting for Uber). My friend and I stepped into the Quality Inn lobby to warm up and wait. We had just finished a day of meetings and were dressed in business attire. The front desk woman asked what we wanted and when I said we were just wishing to stay warm while waiting for our ride, she proceeded to lecture me about the safety of her guests and that I should have asked permission, and that I was rude for not doing so. I immediately apologized for my oversight and she continued to yell at us. I travel every week of the year for business, and if this is the type of people that Quality Inn hires, I can tell you what chain I will not be using. read more

My family and I stayed here for a weekend and I can honestly say this hotel is not one I'd chose ever again! The hotel has attempted to update the rooms; however it was a major fail! Some of the rooms we booked were updated with a nice headboard and bedside chair in the room, while others had headboards from the 1980's and no chair. The paint is an odd color and the bathroom paint was peeling, along with yellow paint that didn't match and a horrible touch up job. The tile/baseboards in the bathroom showed signs of being replaced numerous​ times, with more and more caulk that made the area bulky. The water was brown when I turned on the bathroom sink faucet as well as the water in the toilet. I figured perhaps the hotel didn't receive many guests ( trying to remain positive at this point); however the water remained brown. The sheets were dirty, some kind of mark on the wall (wasn't trying to investigate) and what looked like blood splatter on the ceiling! Not sure what was on the ceiling ( wasn't trying to investigate​ that either), the AC/heating unit looked like it would cause a fire if you turned it on. The hotel had a smell that reminded me of a dead skunk and cigarette smoke. The hotel says smoke free, but someone broke this rule. The bathroom in the hall near the front desk was nasty and had dried poop on the seat and no toilet paper. Gross! My aunt reserved three rooms, she went to the desk to let staff know we would be checking out on day two and they said ok, however the credit card used was charged for three days instead of two. Called and said it would be 3-5 days before the refund would post. Despite is telling them we were only staying two days and them saying we understand, there was clearly a break down in communication. It isn't in a convenient location to anything unless you're going to and from the airport, so that is a plus for some. Oh!!! PARKING IS HORRIBLE! The hotel doesn't look big enough to have the entire lot full, but this particular weekend it was, and there is no alternative parking site for the hotel. So you're screwed if you leave and think you're getting a spot when you come back. The front desk staff was pleasant, but that still doesn't change my mind about booking here again. So our connecting flight coming going back home to Vegas was cancelled and the next available one was at 6 am. It was only 9 pm so it was either sleep at the airport or get a hotel. My family of four was so tired that we opted to take the first available hotel room we can find. This place popped up on Hotels.com for a good price so we booked it right away. So we call these guys to get a shuttle to come pick us up. They said the driver will be there in 10 to 15 minutes. 30 minutes later we are calling the hotel wondering where the shuttle is. The front desk chick said the driver already came back form the airport with some passengers. I call bs because there is only one pick up location where shuttles go and that is outside of door 15 where we were directed to go. Another 30 mins later dude shows up finally. 5 minutes later we are at the front of the hotel. Why it took an hour to come get us when its only 5 mins away does not make sense to me. We finally check in and our room is located on the second floor. I ask where the elevator is and the front desk lady said they didn't have an elevator. Now I have stayed at lots of other motels and I don't ever recall any of them not having an elevator. Again, something else that didn't make sense to me. Of course there are no more rooms on the ground floor. Sucks because we had some big luggage to lug up the stairs. As we make our way up the stairs and down the hallway, the smell of cigarette smoke was rampant. I was hoping that our room did not have the very same smell even though we requested non smoking. To my delight the room did not have any unpleasant odors and was actually a nice sized room compared to all the hotels we stayed at in New York the week before. Everything was fine from the beds to the bathroom. Went to go get some ice from the ice machine and what do you know, its on the ground floor all the way down the hallway. Had a good nights rest and check out was all good. Only other problem was that there was no more room for us on the shuttle. Turns out the front desk lady forgot to put us on the schedule so we had to wait until the driver came back. I was afraid he was gonna take an hour like yesterday which will result in us missing our flight. Thankfully he came back 10 mins later. In closing, I think I would have been a very unhappy camper if I didn't get a good nights rest. The fact that they didn't have an elevator really spiraled this down to 2 stars. If it's possible to give less than 1 star I would. I don't know where to begin, let's start with the cigarette smoke that wafts through the entire "non smoking" hotel. I had a room on the second floor which usually is no big deal, however it becomes a big deal when there is no elevator and you have a 50 Pound bag to drag up a long flight of stairs. So I get into my room and immediately notice the brown stains on the ceiling and the sound of a jack hammer next door. Along with the walls comes the massive chipping of wall paper, the floor tiles are coming off the low end of the wall, there are weird black stains on the curtains, a white spot in the crotch of the desk chair (lucky me), the handles to the dresser were broken off, the phone was so disgusting that I would rather put my face out with a fire than touch that cesspool. I was honestly shocked when I checked for bed bugs and didn't see any signs. I don't know how this passes the health code. read more
