From the parking lot to the rooms, everything is exceptionally clean. The beds are comfy w/ extra pillows. There are extra towels & full sized shampoo, conditioner, & body/hand wash mounted in the shower. The bathtub has a stopper that actually works! The breakfast buffet is top notch offering many selections including 2 hot choices such as scrambled eggs or sausage links & sausage gravy with biscuits. There's even mini Eggo pancakes & Belgian waffles, yogurt, cold or hot cereal. Also, bagels, choices of bread, muffins or pastries. There's 2 choices of juice & milk, coffee or tea. There is always coffee available in the lobby. There is always a staff member available at the front desk. This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. It is professionally maintained with everything in working order, e.g. the ice machines & AC/heaters, fridge, & microwave in the rooms have always worked perfectly. I travel here to visit a friend & will sometimes just stay an extra night to unwind because it is so comfortable & pleasant here. There are also very nice areas to walk your dog! There's a little picnic area with a propane BBQ grill too! I just noticed this as I was leaving on my last visit. I know I'm writing a book here but I have to mention the staff, they are the most professional, hard working, friendly, & nice hotel employees I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Jacuzzi isn't very hot but it's relaxing. Pool is perfect place to get some movement in before bed. Breakfast is also a nice option from biscuits n gravy, sausage and eggs, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, fruit and beverage selection. I thought the bed was super comfortable as well. It is the personal home of Dave Longaberger from the Longaberger basket company. My BF's mom was a star seller of these baskets once upon a time so he is very familiar! I booked the fanciest room--The Dresden Suite! High ceilinged, king sized 4-poster bed, fireplace, sitting and desk area, small hallway with back access and a big jetted tub in the middle of the room. Features are great but the building, rooms, carpeting, furniture are quite old and worn. I think due to the age of the building and the lack of staff, the entire place did not feel very clean. Our room was tidy when we checked in but upon closer inspection, corners were dusty, papers and brochures were water stained, carpet was stained in places and peeling. This might have been an oversight but the bathroom didn't have shampoo or body wash stocked. There was liquid hand soap but my BF swears it was watered down and not quite effective. During our 1-night stay here, we only saw one person the whole time working and it was also the owner, Joy. She embodies her name as she warmly pads around suggesting we look around and offered to show us 2 additional rooms, which was fun. We didn't opt for the 4-course dinner that she cooks personally from scratch. It was $100 or something and includes a bottle of wine which would've been wasted since neither of us drink. We went out for dinner but upon getting back to the inn, Joy prepared a dessert for us--so cute! We got a small chocolate lava cake with a scoop of ice cream and a strawberry each! The room was stifling and we were unable to adjust the temperature too much. It was freezing outside yet we had to have the A/C on because of how hot it was in the room. We borrowed 2 of their many DVDs and put it on the background while we intensely played a board game. The next morning, Joy made us a delicious light breakfast. We headed out to the nearby abandoned Longaberger retail ghost town. Oh, and Joy's dog Chewbacca is adorable. She could definitely use a bath and grooming session but she was so friendly!

I had a king sized bed but my son wanted to use the pullout to himself. When the pullout was open, it literally touched the bottom of the king sized bed, creating a little bit of difficulty trying to reach the window and curtains.
