It's a great, clean, hotel with friendly staff and complimentary breakfast. The staff is what really impressed me. Everyone we passed by was super nice and greeted us with a smile. The girl with the long hair at the front desk was so RUDE on the phone and during the encounter with walking to the front desk per her directive to exchanged the towels. I have never stayed in a hotel where it was both a burden and requirement to the staff to walk to the front desk for towels, and where it was such a hassle to the workers to physically hand in the used towels for the new ones at the front desk in the moment (one child literally waiting in the bathtub for a towel to be handed to them since we had to run down to the lobby for the replacements ourselves after trying to call the front desk for over 1 hour in the phone before giving in to physically walking downstairs). I would've resorted to staying in an Air bnb with this level of service where it's more beneficial to bring our own towels since it's such a burden to the staff to simply provide towels to customers in this hotel. On another note, the pool was clean and a pleasant time since we had the space to ourselves. And, the breakfast was your typical continental breakfast spread with eggs, potatoes, toast, bagels, fresh waffles to make yourself, cereal, fruits and some other things. We probably wouldn't stay here again, but it served its purpose for this trip.

Upon getting to the room it was spacious but looks really run down old. Also the second thing I notice was such a small TV maybe 24". The bed was decent, had a fold out couch, bathroom looked ok at first glance. I sound that there appeared to be rust or damage to the tub right under the water spout. Looks like it may have cracked and some patch work was done. Top frame of door to bathroom has stains on it. Closet door is a 4 section sliding door and was missing 2 sections. Water pressure was low. Water also taste funny and the cold water was luck warm. It was such a hot day out and all I wanted was to take cold showers. At least I was an able to adjust the AC to lowest possible at 58°F. Breakfast you have the standard eggs, toast, bagel, sausage, fruits, oatmeal, waffles, juice and coffee setup. Nothing special.

Drove up and first thing I saw was all the construction workers and piles of building materials - yep it is under construction and nope it does not mention this on the website!! The entire ground floor appears to be under work and there were no apparent guests there just unfinished walls and wet paint The second floor was not being remodeled though it needs it badly - rooms are dated, damp spots on the popcorn ceiling and the water was cold - made for a miserable shower and towels were old and yellow. That said the staff were lovely, HEB was within walking distance and the room was comfortable and quiet! I will not stay here again but it was good enough for a last minute booking

Also, it's right across the parking lot from an HEB grocery store. The property itself is clearly a bit older. They've done some refreshing of the 'common areas' which definitely helps. The rooms themselves are definitely ready for a refresh. The carpet seams are clearly well worn and separating. The drain in the bathroom sink is being held in with a zip tie. There are zero (as in none) USB plug-ins, which is inconvenient at best. The plug-ins by the bed are in a really odd place. The toilet paper is - well - very odd - it turns the toilet water brown (even plain, unused paper) - I've never seen toilet paper like that before. The room itself was fine - bed was fine; fridge and kitchenette were also fine. There is sufficient space. With a refresh, this property could be a 4 or 5 star property. Great location. Staff were friendly.

Although the times they stated I was out with my family.when talking to some of the associates and the manager they were never sync in their reasons or findings and they sent me on the runaround never giving me real reasons how they came to this conclusion. I tried calling customer service all they would say is they working on it and it takes 4 business days. This is a very racist hotel and if you have darker skin I will suggest you book your stay somewhere else.

I have seen her work with her guests after hours just to make sure their stay is a pleasant memorable one. Her staff go above and beyond as well regardless of the time of day. Theres always a smile and a Professional demeanor with the staff. You can definitely see that these people are very happy with their careers and that says a lot for the management. Rooms are spotless clean. Garbages are always emptied. And the environment is pleasant Stay here folks. You won't be disappointed. I wish more Hiltons had this environment.

So if you're choosing this hotel based on this one amenity, go to Homewood Suites or literally any other hotel with that ammenitty. And 2nd, there is construction literally next door to the hotel. Yes, there was some noise from it...as well as some noise from the clubs nearby. Yes, it was audible on the 4th floor of the hotel. The view was of a construction yard and some.heavy machines. I now know this misrepresentation of their amenities has been going on for at least almost half a year now based on a Google review. We stayed there in late June. During our stay, we had to shower with really cold water for 2 nights. We let the front desk know about this problem the first night and they didnt look into it. We complained again on the 2nd night. They tried to give us a different room, but thankfully we checked to make sure the problem would be fixed before accepting it...it was not. So the front desk offered me another room...ummmmm....if the issue is present in more than 1 room, Im pretty sure its not just the room and you have a bigger issue. They didnt check anything until I pointed this out...turns out the water boiler exploded. I wouldnt doubt if they didnt pay something like a gas bill or if they failed to maintain their boiler. The front desk staff member said she called and texted the manager but the manager wasnt answering, so my complaint went unresolved and we had to get rent a different hotel for an hour t9 take a shower with hot water. The manager never texted the employee back nor called them and we had a long trip the next day. I asked for a manager to call me and I never received a call from anyone representing that hotel. I also tried to file a complaint with Hilton Honors program. How things have changed. Hilton doesn't value their customers. I understand that this is now the culture for this chain. Based on the experience above and the fact that its been almost 3 weeks and a manager has yet to contact us, and no reimbursement was made on the stay (or even the extra money we had to spend to be able to shower), I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel.
