For Reference: Visit was 11/2024 Pros: Front desk Manager: Edgar was very friendly. Con's: The overall experience I was not ok with. 1) Online photos do not look like real life rooms 2) Hotel needs major upgrades, lots of rust & old & stained sheets - I literally went to the local Walmart & bought my own sheet & did not use the blankets 3) The restroom has rust & build up dust & from on the door, toilet paper holder & towel rack 4) I experienced a power outage while there 5) I had what seemed to be crack heads near our room also staying there. I did not feel safe 6) A prepaid booking of 4 nights turned into 2 nights 7) My son & I tried bkfst the 1st morning & there were out of everything. I had to ask for waffle batter. Front desk staff did go and add some. Then I get to the syrup, which was also out. I had to ask for the to be filled as well. There was no forks to use. 8) Everyone raved about Chef Chris. I cld tell while in the bkfst area that he is a very nice person. He helped a man who dropped his cereal etc. What they did not mention is that Chef Chris's food is for you to pay for. His prices were good but because the hotel had free bkfst I had not taken my wallet with me, as I was not expecting any need for it. 9) You can hear everyone else around you, even if they are outside. Save yourself some time & book elsewhere. I will be leaving this same review on other sites as well so people can be aware of this. - The same day as check out I tried contacting the General Manager by email. I asked for a # but email was the only option. The phone # listed is the regular hotel which apparently the GM is not on site much. I am now trying to get my money back for the unstayed nights & the General Manager/Owner KARAN SINGH will not return my emails. I sent an email the same day I checked out (2 days earlier then expected). Gave him a few days & no response. I then responded with a follow up email to the first email, still no response. Called today 11/10/2024, I was told they could leave him a message to please check his emails. This is not ok & I will continue to follow through. read more

First if you stay at a inexpensive motel it not going to be a 5 star hotel people. That being said I was happy with my two rooms. The rooms was clean and the air-conditioning worked really good and there was no bed bugs. The WIFI here is awesome. Peak speed when I got here around 2 am was 83Mb down and 10Mb up. Most places have really bad wifi speeds. Wifi did slow down at peak times but was still usable and that was with the motel max out with large family's for hurricane Harvey. Room had a microwave, small refrigerator and coffee maker, iron and board. Breakfast was included and had the following waffles, juice, milk, coffee, Dry cereal, Instant oatmeal packs, apples, cookies, Yogurt, toast and some kind of pastry. The employees was super nice and very helpful. We decided to stay a extra day because of the hurricane and they gave me the Travelocity discount price of 70 bucks a nite again. When booking online the room photos are deceptive. It looks like there are 2 beds in the room but it is 1 King Bed and 1 Double Sofa Bed. The bathroom was clean. The pillowtop bed was comfortable. We took the bedspread off the bed and the blanket looked like it needed to be Laundered. We asked for another blanket and we were told there were no extras. This was a one-night stay and the blanket situation didn't kill us. The place feels safe and the grounds were well kept. Our adult daughter also had a room and she also said her bed was comfortable and she slept well. She also commented on the friendly cook staff in the morning. There is an In-room microwave & a small refrigerator. Our room had a hair dryer, and an Iron & ironing board. Toiletries are provided. There is a small separate sitting area in the room. There is an outdoor pool & a workout room. Overall this a very nice place to stop for the night after a long day. read more

Edgar did an amazing job checking in us in. He was fast, very informative and super Friendly. Fred was super friendly and very hard working person. Rooms were very clean and sheets smelled clean and fresh. The swimming pool was clean and relaxing I would definitely stay here again, for me people with exceptional customer service makes my stay more joyful. **SPANISH, Me encanta la atencion al cliente que tiene este hotel. This our Home away from Home! All staff are very Professional, your greeted with a smile etc. the rooms are very clean, Beautiful pool and Hot Tub surrounded by Palm Trees. Full Breakfast including fresh on the Spot Authentic Breakfast made by Chef Chris. From the Front Desk Manager Edgar, Evening Front Desk Associate Edna, Chef Chris , the housekeeper's keeping up with the cleaning of the rooms and Beto in top of the maintenance are absolutely The Best. Easy access to Hwy 83, to the Border, shopping and wonderful Restaurants all within less than 20 minutes. All of this for a very reasonable price. read more

We are eternally greatful and so happy with Edgar, Ruben and Vanessa, all their never ending help, patience and understanding to me and my family while we stayed at super 8 hotel. It's a nice stay, all of this was last minute, but nothing was complicated about the stay itself. The room is nice, the bed is super comfy, if I could stay longer I could, it's a little confusing on how to book things but at the front desk, Marlene was a huge help, made things easy to understand, and gave great customer service, kindness was very much appreciated. I have stayed at this facility quite a few times now, and it has always been great. Karan is always coming up with new improvements. This time was new, huge, comfortable pillows and white lighting in the fixtures resulting in great lighting in the room. Great customer service, as well. Wonderful experience all the way around... the staff was friendly from the time we first walked in. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Chef Chris took me by surprise!
