This place is ridiculous. First of all, WiFi doesn't work on the 3rd floor. Secondly, all you hear all night is the door to the stairwell being slammed All night. the door is directly against the wall where the beds headrests are, it vibrates every single time someone closes it. The ceiling has some areas where they fixed water leaks or something and yet it's cracked and bowing like it could reopen at any moment. Never going to stay here again.

    Dirty sheet
    Michelle S.

Negative stars if I could. Room number 1: Dirty sheets. Only one staff member was on site and she didn't get me linens until a few hours later and even then the sheet was the wrong size. After using a flat sheet for a fitted sheet, we discovered some sort of bug that jumped at us. We notified her and sent a video of it to her. Originally she told me they were almost sold out and didn't offer to change our room. I told her I'm not sleeping in there with bugs in the bed. Room number 2: Dirty sheets that had a dead bug body part on it. Requested another room change. Room number 3: random hairs and another unknown yellow ball and some things that resembles bug legs...... They ran out of rooms to offer me. I didn't have anywhere to go because it was already past midnight and I have an early flight to catch. I was on the phone with booking.com customer service and they couldn't do anything for me as well because the staff was not picking up their phone. I had to continually go to the lobby to request them to check their email and respond to customer service on booking.com (they didn't respond the entire time I was on the phone with them). There was another staff member there after midnight, but he said he couldn't even offer me a room clean because there's no house keeping at the time or refund me because he wasn't the manager. I was once again handed my own linens (dirty as well). Loud patrons, lack of sound proofing as you can hear everything from the outside (cars driving by, person next door snoring, can hear anyone walking by outside), weird smells. I only stayed because I didn't want to camp out in my rental car. Switched to another room

    The hot tub and pool
    Brooke S.

I wish I could give less, my husband really tried to plan such a nice anniversary but their hotel was horribly falsely advertised on Expedia! The "pool" was the size of a kitty pool and the "hot tub" was a bird bath not to mention it all being rite next to a jack-in-the-box dumpster. The room was immensely smaller, we walked into the room and walked out we didn't even stay the night and still couldn't get a full refund. It's literally a scam hotel, I wish we had looked at yelp

    Room with king size bed
    Madeleine L.

The room was newly renovated and clean. However, the exterior of the hotel felt run down. The hotel is also in a sketchy part of town. I would not recommend this place to single females.

I'm writing this review because I was not pleased with how a guest was treated at your hotel business today. We send our friends, family, and clients to stay at the location due to its convenient location to our business. After today's experience, which was the complete opposite of hospitality, we will no longer be staying with SpringHill Marriot on San Fernando Blvd. in Burbank. Has hospitality in the hospitality industry ended or something? Since when do we make hotel guests (who like to tip) hunt down and fetch their own luggage cart without offering assistance, let alone help locating cart? The guest, who is arthritic, called to ask for a luggage cart to her hotel room, was told to go find a cart no one was available to bring a luggage cart to her room. The guest just wanted to be able to check out & felt embarrassed trying to locate a luggage while hotel employees watched on and did not offer help. The woman Cara at the front desk could not be bothered to help either. I will Also mention that when we booked this reservation,,whoever took the information down on the hotels end did not properly enter the reservation into the hotel system. So our guests Check in ALSO did not go smoothly. We had to get that fixed as well. More time wasted. I rarely write a bad review on Yelp but I strongly feel it is necessary this time. Very unfortunate experience today at your not very hospitable hotel.

If you are Asian, I strongly recommend you do not stay here. We arrived after a long trip with two young kids, completely exhausted -- the kind of exhaustion where you can barely stand or walk. We checked in and went up to our assigned room on the 3rd floor... only to find that someone was already inside the room. Let that sink in. We literally opened the door and found another guest already occupying it. That is not just unacceptable -- it is a serious safety issue. We went back downstairs, shocked and frustrated. While we were standing there waiting, the front desk guy was checking in another guest and was extremely friendly to her, smiling and handing her a bag of goodies -- while completely ignoring us, even though we were clearly waiting and had just reported a major issue. Then another staff member came over -- rude, cold, and with zero apology -- and simply clicked around on the computer and handed us a new room key like we were the problem. The replacement room was facing the freeway, and the noise was unbearable. We could not sleep at all. Between the dangerous room assignment, the complete lack of professionalism, and the blatant discriminatory behavior, this hotel deserves zero stars. I have stayed in many hotels -- this was by far the most disrespectful and disturbing experience. Avoid this place.

If you are going to Universal Studios this is also a good spot. You are about 10 minutes from the park. This hotel is near BJs and Black Angus. Lots of other places kind of nearby with a 5 minute walk. There are two towers that have 19 floors or so. The parking was around $28.00. If you think you can park on the street, you cant. They have no free overnight parking. Burbank PD dont mess around. This time we were on the 6th floor near the elevator with a city view. There was zero noise. The rooms have a coffee maker. However you should grab some creamers and sugars down by the bar to keep in your room. There is also a fridge and microwave. Speaking of bars. They have one downstairs with happy hour from 3 to 6pm. The drinks are $5.00. Mixed drinks, beer on tap, etc. Can"t beat that deal. They also have food. We had a platter with pickled veggies, hummus, bread, oilves. Very good. I saw other people eating burgers, ceasar salads, fries. All looked amazing. Remember I told you about the pilots? A few were at the bar. They were so nice. They were paying for people too. The bartender said the bar on top floor will be open in June Friday thru Sunday. I wish they gave locals a discount. Try getting a room on a higher floor facing the freeway.

At check-in, the front desk told us they just needed a card on file for parking and the deposit. No total ever showed on the screen before we authorized the charge, so we had no way of knowing what was actually being run. Turns out the full cost of the stay was charged to that one card, completely bypassing the payment setup we'd arranged through Expedia. My girlfriend ended up covering the entire stay on her card without ever agreeing to that. We called and spoke with the manager, Dennis, who was polite on the phone and actually agreed the experience wasn't handled well. He offered a discount, but that's not really compensation when money was already taken without us being told the real total. When we asked for something more reasonable given the stress this caused, he went quiet for over a week, then emailed back saying an internal "investigation" confirmed staff followed proper procedure, and that we should contact Expedia if we had concerns. The room itself was fine, that's not the issue. The issue is transparency at check-in. If you're booking this place through a third-party app, ask for a written total before handing over any card, because what's on the screen (or not on the screen) may not match what gets charged

The clerk wasn't outright rude, but for the first several minutes seemed pretentious, like I wasn't good enough to stay there. He didn't introduce himself or ask my name; I introduced myself and asked his name after check-in, and he warmed up a bit. It felt like I'd caught him doing something wrong or arrived before he was ready. I had to ask multiple questions because he didn't offer information or engage. My customer service was on point--his, not so much. I'd been driving all day and was exhausted, wearing very casual clothes, but he felt very judgey. I asked to see the rooms after reading reviews. The first was rundown and not worth the $150 he quoted. He kept going into the back office between questions, implying he was busy or nearly full (there was only one car outside). When I asked to see the other side of the hotel, which had allegedly been updated, he bragged about being fully booked, though I only ever saw three cars. Odd. The second room was just okay, but I was too tired to find another hotel, so I stayed one night. Few things frustrate me more than visible neglect and lack of detail. There were drywall screw heads popping out, scuffed walls, holes, and water-damaged bathroom drywall from a poorly placed glass shower door--crumbling onto the floor. The floor itself was dirty. The outer entry door was peeling badly, shedding bits of clear coating onto the floor and my hands. The blinds appeared to not have been cleaned in months--which should be done regularly. The bed frame was filthy--dust, debris, bits of wrappers and food. It was clearly dirty, with oils, handprints, and dried liquids (I'll leave that to your imagination). The closet doors, off-white, had visible hand grime. The disinfectant wipes I used were brown - yuck. The lamp was dusty, an outlet near the bed had a broken metal piece stuck inside, and both the bathroom vent and hair dryer were caked with dust. The dryer filter hadn't been cleaned in ages. The countertop above the mini fridge was detaching, the bathroom shelf was decaying, and the shower glass hadn't been cleaned. The creamy drip marks on the wall--hopefully conditioner or soap--remained, and the grout was mold-stained. A simple bleach spray would've fixed it. The shower water pressure was awful, with calcification that needs vinegar soaking. It also leaked from the stem. Meanwhile, the sink had too much pressure. The cleaning staff were wonderful--always offering help. The issues here clearly stem from management, not staff. I realize this isn't a four-star hotel and that my standards are higher than average. Having worked in property management and emergency response, I've been in many homes across all conditions and know what "clean" should look like. I attached photos (which don't even capture all of it) so others can decide for themselves. Public beds and showers should be cleaned frequently so dust, germs, and bugs don't build up. The initial clerk did warm up by the end, and wasn't outright rude, just awkward and pretentious at first. When I checked out, a different man was working. He was extremely pushy, insisting I stay longer despite me saying I had to get back on the road. Then he handed me a clipboard and said it was mandatory to fill out--a sheet listing my name, room number, and space for comments, stacked under previous guests' notes. I told him I'd review the hotel online instead. He insisted I fill in each section, so under "comments" I wrote "review on Yelp." Other than being pushy, he was friendly--but it was an annoying end to a stay that wasn't worth the cost. Not the worst stay I've had, but definitely not one I'd repeat.
