The shower curtain rod was barely hanging on. The breakfast was a fucking joke (even by la quinta standards). Small sausage patties (and I mean the smallest I have ever seen) and hard boiled eggs. THATS IT ! NO scrambled eggs, only 2 choices of cereal. I seriously considered checking out the night I got there for the gorgeous Spring Hill place. The elevator is very much a ride at Universal Studios with a rocky screech landing. But safe overall is kinda funny tho but not. The hallways were clean and well kept. The room was very spacious and I liked that they had a shelf to put your key cards and luggage. They had spacious desks, lots of lighting throughout and a dual shade option to blackout the room for sleep. The coffee/tea bar has a Keurig maker, but leaked mini water bottles to make the coffee. The beds were comfy and the shower was good. The bathroom lighting is quite harsh but there is a motion censored nightlight. By the TV is a cool curved touch light with European outlets. There are plenty of outlets with both standard and USB outlets. The only tiny thing i would add is a charging pad on the counters in case ppl forget their chargers. TIP: Turn the knob all the way to the left to get to the hot water. Now let's talk breakfast - skip it if you like cool lackluster potatoes and eggs. The only saving grace is the coffee, instant oatmeal, oikos yogurt, and dry cereals. There are also a few places to eat up the road if bfast is important. TIP: If you go behind the breakfast area in the main lobby area, you can sit in a less crowded area near the business center. Check out was just as fast and easy. When I walked in, the artwork on the wall caught my attention. I liked the lobby decor. My room was clean and quiet. The WIFI was good and the assortment of television stations. The room was a good size and I had plenty of room. The hotel had an exercise room and business area. The breakfast selections were good too. The dining area was small but adequate for the size of the hotel and the woman taking care of things kept it well stocked and clean. She even shared some travel advice and put a muffin in a baggie for me to eat on the road. She included a napkin too. If my travels bring me to Rockingham again, this is where I will be staying.
