Only a few minutes away from the little Mountain View town, it is easy to get to restaurants and the caverns and parks. It also is still very secluded and quiet and relaxing. Our hosts were wonderful!! Very very accommodating and helped with everything we needed. We had wonderful conversations with them! They had a great guest pantry and tasty breakfast each morning. We stayed in the garden room, which had a great balcony overlooking the property. We have zero complaints from this place and would go back again in a heart beat.

Somewhat leveled cement trailer/RV parking. Dumpster is in adjacent lot, behind large white building. Laundry is expensive. Lots of longtime RVs at outer peripherals; confederates, retiree, cops, construction workers, etc. A typical trailer court with lots of storage shed for sales. This RV park situated opposite side of Ozark Health Hospital so maybe that's a plus?

Our site was perfectly positioned next to the water's edge with LOTS of room to spread out. We had a fantastic tree canopy over our site with just enough trees to provide shade but not too many to block the light. B5, B7, B9 were all beautiful sites. Dollar General and Family Dollar Tree are just a few minutes away but if you need a Walmart you'll need to set some time to the side. (40 minute one way) You'll also want to pick up your firewood before entering the campgrounds. There are some great hikes nearby. We chose to do Sugarloaf Mountain which requires contacting the marina for a boat ride to the island. (2 hours total hike and the boat ride is $13 for adults/ $9 for children under 12/ free for 2& under @ Fairfield Bay Marina)

Riding around north of Greer's Ferry Lake we found this little restraunt. Not much to look at but…read morepleasant. I was amazed at the "Barron Burger" I ordered. Two people could be fed well in this one order. Several other burgers, sandwiches and a modest buffet round out the fare. The owner/cook/waitress of this "one girl operation" is colorful and friendly. Max seating is probably 20. Open 7a-2p weekdays, 8-2 on weekends. Bring your appetite!!!
