We took a LYFT to and from the hotel to Broadway and it was still much cheaper than the parking in downtown. Definitely easier if you plan on drinking. Checking in was not difficult at all and the staff was great. The only thing wasn't good is the response time in replenishing towels and overall housekeeping. We called early that morning for towels and had to wait hours until we got some. Other than that, the room was clean. The staff was nice and accommodated us by extending our stay.

Saturday was much more crowded than any of the other days. I disappointedly left a full bowl of Frosted Flakes on the counter after finding the milk canister bare. The eggs were hit and miss. Sometimes they were scrambled and sometimes they were the weird "omelettes", which showed up after the scrambled were gone. The kill shot for me was a black sludge that I noticed floating on top of the Malted Vanilla batter when I filled a cup. Haven't seen anything like that in the past 3 decades, so it went right in the trash, and I'll never trust Hampton Inn waffle batter again. One minor annoyance: I made myself a hot chocolate using the courtesy bar packet and hot water, however, the hot water was room temperature, and I had to ditch the drink. When I clogged the first floor common area men's bathroom commode, I brought it to the front desk's attention, but there was no maintenance on staff that day. A thousand pardons to any high-alert traveller that proceeded me. The pool is of the indoor variety, like a 1970s Boys Club. The jacuzzi was out of order. The shower was a tad low-flow for me, but the water was hot. And to top it off, I was double-charged after pre-paying. However, the front desk staff was very friendly. The elevators were in-service and worked well. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the wifi worked at an acceptable speed. I was always able to find a parking space. But based on previous visits to the area, I shall be staying elsewhere in the future.

The entrance had cigarette butts and full trash cans and no one bothered devacuum the entrance rug though the doors were clean.

Those are the 2 primary amenities I look for when searching for hotels. I arrived early and was able to check in since my room was ready. The front desk staff was pleasant and gave me a brief synopsis of the hotel. (In the morning, when we were getting breakfast, one of the guests had a child with an emergency, and the front desk staff called 911 and helped the guests until the paramedics arrived. She remained calm while communicating with the paramedics, all while trying to comfort the child). The room was okay. The sheets were clean, and the beds were comfortable. There is an outdoor pool, but it is closed likely due to the weather. The gym was super small, but it got the job done. There I one treadmill, one Peloton bike, and one elliptical. There are 5 different medball weights and a pair of 2 pounds weight; that was the extent of the weights. There is also a water dispenser with the cone paper cups (I have not seen those cups in forever!! Breakfast could have been better, but it was sufficient. The oats were watery, and the sausage looked overcooked and possibly reheated. The eggs looked good, but I was able to make waffles, and that was good enough for me. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

Could help to have more charging ports as only one was in the table next to the bed. Additionally, you can stream Netflix, Disney and other apps on the TV. They are set apps though you can stream, and I wasn't able to stream Amazon Prime, which I watch. The hotel has an indoor pool and Gym. No jacuzzi. They also serve breakfast from 6-9am. I found most of the food very salty and gross. They did have yogurt in the fridge though and coffee, so I was good with that. They also have a very small store with snacks, some refrigerator items and freezer items. You can charge these to your room. The area isn't convenient for walking as there are no close stores or restaurants. You really need a car or will have to order food at night. I ended up renting a car 2nd day cause it was just as expensive to order food. And.. I didn't get my room cleaned. I mean it isn't Covid era anymore. I would have liked my bed made. Just sayin.

This was not 1 or 2- this was an entire hoard. Immediately went down to the front desk and he didn't care - obviously he changed rooms, but he didn't care just told me to be sure to bring back the key to the first room when I had moved all of my stuff up three floors. If it hadn't been so late, I would've just left the place and found another hotel. When I checked out very early the next morning, I told the front day staff about it - they said they were surprised, then said that they found a note had been written and left about it. She told me that the manager would be informed as soon as she came in and I would hear something - well it's been well over nine hours so I guess the manager doesn't care. I expected to hear from somebody with at least an apology and an assurance it's being taken care of... We want your business, something - but not one call, email, text - nothing. I am praying there are no bedbugs that decided to take a trek home with me from this place.

It's convenient to I-40 and there is lots of food options nearby. It's a relatively new hotel, and everything in the public spaces and the room was very clean. This is a budget hotel, don't let anyone tell you it isn't. The mattress in the bed was horrible. I felt every single spring in the mattress, and the sheets were very uncomfortable (perhaps 100 count if I'm being generous). The pillows were not firm at all. Normally, you get a mix of firm and floppy, these were below floppy on the scale - possibly even "deflated". Hated them. The room was very modern, and everything functioned okay - except the toilet. It was one of those lovely 1.6L "eco-toilets" and it barely could cycle with nothing in it. That was frustrating. The shower was plenty warm, after about 5 minutes of pre-heating. It was a low-flow "eco" shower head, so the flow was underwhelming. One of my biggest complaints was that the soap and lotion is "bulk style" (which is normal these days), but the bottles are all squeeze bottles. It was pretty inconvenient to dispense the soap and shampoo when in use. They have smart TVs with netflix and plenty of options, the room was clean and the breakfast is the standard Hilton fare. As I said above, plenty of good eateries and a drug store nearby, it gets high marks for location. If you are particular with mattress and pillows, I'd stay somewhere else. Otherwise, this is a pretty good option for business travellers.
