This hotel is so new that I had to add to Yelp. I learned they have only been open for 2 weeks. Being a new hotel definitely has its fair share of positives and negatives. You could clearly tell that the facilities were new, everything was clean, and I assume we may have actually been one of the first guest to stay in our room. But also with the new hotel, you don't necessarily have an opportunity to work out all the kinks. For instance, and the free breakfast area the juice machine was broken for the entirety of my stay. The rooms, nice and spacious. I actually was in a double queen room, and the bathroom was very large. There was also a sitting area with a small couch, a small desk area, and an area with a small mini fridge and microwave so it definitely had all the key amenities that you might need in a hotel of this quality. Location it was actually right off the highway and easy to find and close to where my husband and I were actually visiting. It is definitely not in Nashville and it will take you about 25 to 35 minutes to get downtown depending on traffic. The free breakfast was comparable with other hotels, their size, pastries, eggs, sausage, or bacon, they also had a individual waffle machine that tend to clog up the very small area as it was quite slow from start to finish to make only one waffle. But all in all free breakfast is free breakfast and if you don't like it, there are mini restaurants in the surrounding area where you could have a better selection. The staff was nice overall friendly, but could've been a little bit more hospitable and provided a little more guidance about the surrounding area. I also had an issue with an old credit card on my quality inn account and was called prior to my check-in to make sure that they were able to charge my room before I arrived. I understand them wanting their money, but the attitude of the person I spoke to on the phone could have been greatly improved. The hotel has ample parking and is next-door to a bank and other businesses so I never had any fear of any safety issues. The hotel has brief Wi-Fi and I had no issues gaining access. I'm not sure if they had laundry facilities or a walkout room because I did not inquire nor use either of those amenities. The price point for this hotel during the weekend of my visit was actually quite high, but as I started to review other surrounding hotels, I think the myriad events happening in the area - graduations - athletic competitions - and concerts caused hotel prices to skyrocket during the weekend of my visit. As I look at their normal prices, they were more comparable with the price points for hotel and the same class. read more
