Let me cover the things I liked. The welcome by Estefany was outstanding. She was very friendly and promptly delivered my keys. The room was cozy and the place was relatively quiet with a room on the top floor near the end of the hall. While a little outdated, everything worked and the room was clean. What I didn't like is the bed was not very comfortable so I didn't rest very well during the night. The covers were also pretty thin. The breakfast was quite lacking. I could understand if I went at the end, but it was about halfway through the posted time. So what they do they are doing right. The price point was great for a 10 hour stop. But there are some things that if they were improved would make the stay even better. read more

Check in was no problem. The lady was friendly and efficient. We had plumbing problems within 20 minutes. The state or the carpet and siding told me that this was a continual problem. All the carpets are old and stained. The bedding covers are old and stained. The room decor is outdated and dingy. Shower rooms are tiny The free breakfast was simple but the selection was adequate. Waffles, bread , bananas and yogurt. Coffee tasted really bad but aside from that it was ok. Fly problem throughout the property. The man doing room service has no wheeling trash to collect so has to go in each room then down the hallway to a midway exit and put the trash outside. Back and forward. What a waste of time and energy! Also the trash piles up there for hours which is probably part of the fly problem. There was a power outage. Not their fault but no communication, no backup system. This place has friendly staff but it's lacking some common sense solutions and much of the place needs to be ripped up and replaced. read more

It's about 12 miles off the beaten path coming out of St. Louis into Illinois on 55 N. It was a decent room. Nice firm beds, good water pressure and hot water time. The issue is breakfast in the morning. Cheap, just waffles, bread for toast and grape jelly. NO EGGS, NO SAUSAGE, NO BISCUITS & GRAVY. NO PROTEIN ANYWHERE. All starch and sugar. I've been used to the Quality Inns/Comfort Inns having a decent set up in the morning. NOT HERE! CHEAP OWNERS HAD TO SPEND ANOTHER $35.00 AND HIT A RESTAURANT. WHY I ONLY GAVE 2 STARS. This Quality Inn is not at all what I expected. It is out of date, dirty and dark. The complimentary breakfast didn't even offer anything to drink. It was basically toast, waffles, cereal, yogurt and bananas. I guess it was fine. It seems like there is only 1 person working the front desk and she isn't always there so you have to ring a bell to summon her-which feels very Bates Motel like. The furnishings in the our room looks like That 70's show. We have a gold wall, an orange wall, an olive green bed spread and 1980's cherry furniture. The carpet looks like a 1970's casino or grandma's basement. Really surprising. The only ice machine had a dirty, wet towel on the floor in front of it all weekend. The bath towels are thin and tiny. There wasn't enough shampoo/conditioner. The air conditioning window unit is very loud and the remotes to the TV don't allow you to use the guides so you have to flip the channels. The bed was comfortable. Housekeeping knocked on our door but never came back. It feels like a college apartment in the 70's. Luckily it was very close to the sports fields we came to play on-that was the high spot. This isn't meant to be critical it's just matter of fact--I notice everything everywhere I go. read more

I stayed here overnight with my father as we were headed from Florida to Colorado. Conveniently located off i64, this hotel met and somewhat exceeded my expectations. We were hauling a 16' truck along with a car carrier, but there turned out to be plenty of room in their spacious parking lot. Restaurants located nearby included Jack in the Box, some pizza and wings place in front of the hotel, and. Golden Corral at the next exit (which I also reviewed). We had a room with two double beds. Very comfortable rooms and well-insulated. Flat screen TV with tons of channels. Decent shower. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations as it had bacon, eggs, and some pastries. If I were looking to save some money while visiting the St. Louis metropolitan area, I'd definitely consider staying here again. In summary, this hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient - the three important C's. read more

I usually stay try to stay away from these places but with no other option we ended up here. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Smelled clean when we walked in the back door to our rooms. Rooms were clean and tidy. Selling point for me was the high quality water pressure in the shower. Rooms were surrounded by quiet neighbors which is always a plus. Would NOT recommend. Choice Hotels need to remove this particular hotel from their brand because they poorly represent them. Front desk staff was rude, when they were clearly in the wrong, because I was able to properly comprehend the small print on their website. I even tried to contact Nick, the General Manager, not avail. Front Desk wouldn't even tell me when he would be in to discuss this issue. This is one of the WORST hotels ever!! This is my preferred hotel when I come to O'Fallon, IL to visit my kids. Even though my budget could accommodate something a little bit more expensive, I don't mind saving money when a place has everything that makes my stay comfortable. The only down side is the size of the room we stayed in this time. Once you get two Queen size beds, a desk and chair, it's just a little crowed. But one thing I like is the separate vanity area from the bathroom. Another plus for me is the breakfast that is included always has yogurt on hand. I am a fanatic about my yogurt for breakfast. The room also has a microwave and fridge and there is a WalMart in walking distance so you can go and buy snacks and beverages. Coffee isn't that great but there is a Starbucks about a mile away. read more

Stayed here for a night while on a road trip. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. On the outside it looks a little dumpy, but the inside is what counts and it was nicer than I expected. They've recently updated their beds, which are super comfy (pillow-top mattresses, down comforter and pillows)...I didn't want to get out of bed the next morning. It's in an area with a ton of restaurants and a drug store, which was convenient. I would recommend it for an overnight stay, especially for the price and its proximity to St. Louis. read more

For a 2.5 star hotel, this hotel is top notch! Not only are the rooms immaculate, the beds are super comfortable and the top bedspread actually appears CLEAN. The walls seem to be well insulated as I could not hear anyone in the hall or next door to me. There is a heater on the inside of the room which kept us toasty in 17 degree weather. Bonus--they serve a continental breakfast fit for royalty. Oatmeal, dry cereal, pastries of all sorts, waffles, bacon, boiled eggs, bananas, apples, orange juice, apple juice and coffee. FREE. Yes, I said FREE. I will always choose this hotel when passing through that area. read more

Maybe it could be looked at as not a bad value for the price. It was not expensive. The room was in need of a make over. The cover on the bed had holes in it. Stains in the bathtub. Old toilets. Lots of noise from outside the room. Elevator was old and smelly and not very assuring it was going to keep going. The orange juice in the morning was more like Tang. Quality Inn O'Fallon welcomed us with open arms after another local hotel (Country Inn & Suites O'Fallon) screwed up our reservation and threw us out onto the street one day early. I spoke with Joanna on the phone while looking for a vacancy. She was very kind and pleasant, and she was able to get us a room (the very last one available). When we arrived, Joanna checked us in and took great care of us. She also listened sympathetically to our sob story about how we were treated by Country Inn & Suites. She explained all the amenities and she got us a great rate despite the high demand for hotels on that particular weekend. As for amenities......when compared to the aforementioned local competitor, they have all the same amenities for about $20 less per night. The double queen room may have been a few square feet smaller than Country Inn, but they equally equipped and well maintained. The pool at Quality was actually bigger. The breakfast area cleaner, better kept, and more suited to handle big crowds. Overall, Quality Inn showed me what a well-managed hotel in the STL burbs can do compared to a chaotic, dysfunctional mess of a competitor (Country Inn & Suites O'Fallon) down the block. read more

Check in was easy. Room was marginal. A/C wasn't on and room was super muggy. All in all room met cheap hotel expectations. Breakfast was all right. But 30 minutes into a slow morning trashcan shouldn't have been full. Maybe the staff, whose uniform evidently included Victoria Secret sweat pants, could have emptied the trash instead of fixing herself breakfast. Guess you get what you pay for? read more

If your traveling and you need a computer don't count on this place for printing out any information such as your 24 hour pre-flight check in and boarding passes. I have not been in a hotel that does not have printer in there lobby for guest. The front desk would not print them because they would get in trouble for using there ink. Total BS... read more

We were pleasantly surprised by the great experience we had here. This is a no frills economy stay with hot breakfast and a nice pool and hot tub. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The walls are a little thin but definitely worth the price we paid. We will stay here again! read more

This is an older hotel, conveniently located off of I-64. While both the exterior and the interior look dated, the hotel makes up for it by having very clean rooms and very clean mattresses, so one should not judge a book by its cover. I also was able to use their indoor pool, and they had a decent continental breakfast as well. read more

My daughter and I stayed here on Feb. 18-19. The gentleman that checked us in was polite. However, as we walked to our room, there was an overwhelming smell of marijuana. I said something to the gentleman and he knocked on some doors. Next, we decided to go swimming for a bit before supper. The lights in the pool were turned off. When we went to the front desk to ask about the lights and inquire about a new room, no one was there. We rang the bell three different times with no answer. We went back to the pool and finally found the light switch on our own. After swimming, we went back to the room to change. Upon changing, we saw holes in the comforter and sheets. Also, the sheets/mattress pad continued to snap off the corners every time someone sat on the bed. As we were heading out for the evening, we stopped at the desk again to inquire about another room. The woman behind the desk at this time was not very happy about changing our room. I explained that we had been down there earlier and she told me that there is no way that I could have; she was there the whole time. Begrudgingly, she gave us a new room. This new room was better but by then we were already disappointed in our stay. The next morning we went down to breakfast. There were many people there to eat and not a lot of room. The waffle maker, the only kid friendly food, was being used and there was quite a line. None of the rest of the food appeared appealing (much like cafeteria food), we decided to get our stuff, check out and get something on the road. The lady who checked us out was nice. She did ask how our stay was. However, because we were tired and hungry, we didn't go into detail with her. We come to the Fairview/Belleville area quite often. I chose this hotel for my family because it seemed like a good bargain. However, we will not return to this hotel because of the incidents previously stated and the rude staff person we encountered in the afternoon/evening. read more

Until last week, I haven't stayed here in a while, it used to be a different name and used to be kinda run-down. Not anymore, the breakfast room is much improved and had a nice assortment of food - not fancy, but good for an included breakfast. The lobby is more cheerful and welcoming too, and the room was quiet even though I was in the front of the building on the traffic side. It is well away from the street noise, good for a light sleeper like me. Good wifi and no messing around with a password. Overall, for the price (I paid in advance on the website for a discount) I can recommend it. read more

We came in from California last week and had booked our room prior to arrival. Having been on a red-eye flight all night, I called the hotel to see if there was anyway that we could check in a bit early before meeting with our family. The manager accommodated us cheerfully and gave us a room that was above and beyond our expectations. The room was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The staff was awesome and personable our entire stay(3 days). Also, the indoor hot tub/heated pool was clean, refreshing and very appreciated after a long flight. Talk about "bang for your buck"! The price was extremely reasonable for the great room and perks we received. We will be returning soon to O'Fallon and will always make our reservations here! The worst hotel ever!!!! If I could give this negative stars I would. We booked this through Priceline- had decent enough stars.... 1st mistake. We should have checked yelp reviews first. We walked in and reeked of smoke. We then walked to our room, which was on the first floor. When we walked into a room it smelled of smoke which we booked a non-smoking since I have asthma. We took off the comforter thinking it was that and then we noticed all the white stains all over the comforter so we were glad we immediately took that off. The sheets smelled like smoke and the bed skirt was covered in white stains and had crusty stuffed smeared on it. We started looking things over and the pillow cases had rust stains, there was black curly hairs in and around the sink and we knew we couldn't stay here. We were in the room for about 15 minutes, left and called Priceline in the parking lot to get a refund. They said it was up to the hotel, to refund the money. We talked to the front desk and they refused to give us our money back.... because we had checked in and "used" the hotel. Probably hurting for money and couldn't. They played the I called the owner game but really didn't. We are currently driving to another hotel... we are out our money and angry, but would rather be that then covered in lord knows what if we stayed in that bed. read more

The place is ok for a good price. But I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay. We would have to stay here five days. Which wouldn't be good enough. Sure they have double beds, flat screen tv, etc... But they didn't clean the room that well, still dusty in areas. Not many customers as you can see with their spacious parking lot. Their WiFi is around 15-18 Mbps download and 1-5Mbps upload. But again the rooms were not clean, and found hair. Wasn't pleasant. Kinda creeped me out. And no couch. I was with my family, for a robotics championship. So I would not recommend this for long stays. Find something just a little bit better. And cleaner. read more
