We recently used Cliff Hutchins prior to the purchase of our home in Durango. My wife and I were impressed with his attention to detail, as well as his knowledge and experience in all aspects of the building trades. His inspection uncovered a few plumbing & electrical items that would have gone unnoticed, and we were able to use this to negotiate an adjustment in the purchase price. Mr Hutchins was thorough in his coverage of all aspects of the home, and was patient and responsive with our questions. Using his FLIR tool, he also uncovered an area in the living room ceiling where heat loss was considerable due to insulation gaps in the attic space. He also will do radon testing. The followup report we received from him is now our baseline of the condition of the home.
