The sign he did for me is rusting under the powder coating. It can easily be seen since a clear powdercoat was used. See uploaded pics. This was observed by my customer after just a month. Now I have to make repairs and get it redone by a reputable company. I feel sorry for the other suckers who had work done with colored coatings. The rust will not be observable until it eventually comes through and the coating lifts, chips or peels off from underneath. He had a one year " guarantee " but that is useless since he quickly closed shop skipped town and moved to Pennsylvania. He does not answer any texts, he just took everyone's money and ran. If he opens shop again in Pennsylvania, beware. His work, ethics and promises are worth nothing. It appears from his Facebook page that he is going into other businesses as well. Buyer beware. He has shown himself to be untrustworthy, a liar and a fraud.

I researched many powder coaters /sand blasters in the Morehead - Jacksonville area and couldn't get a quote, in most cases, not even a callback. Buying new ones was over $3,000! Even the shutter company quoted a crazy high price to handle the refinishing. On a hunch, I found Live Wire in a Wilmington search and it looked promising. I spoke with Jessica, sent photos and dimensions and they generated a quote for a little under $1200 for 3 shutters. We took them down, they examined them and said they felt they could do the work, even though they had the thin blades. The original quality of the power coating was poor, the company didn't prime them first. Live Wire could not guarantee all the corrosion pitting would be gone. Well, they finished them on the promised time, we went to get them and were floored. Each looked like brand new and sparkling. No, all the pitting wasn't gone, but who cares from 15 feet, they look gorgeous and we saved over $2,000! Sweet. Highly recommend this company. Everyone was generous with their time and explanations.
