But after having them done so many shoe soles for me, I feel like I need to tell people how awesome they are! They are so experienced about protecting your designer brand shoes :) I was live in Vancouver where adding protector rubber layer to leather sole is pretty cheap, so when I first came here I feel really pissed: every shoe repair store in Toronto is much more expensive than in Vancouver. But I won't walk on naked leather sole (it will damage your expensive designer shoes), so I tried couple stores and this is the one I'm always pick right now. When I first get my shoes back from them, I see a nice and clean curvy cut rubber firmly stick on my leather sole. No exceed glue, no rough edge, no damage on my fragile fabric(satin). When you look from the side, you won't even recognize it's been solved. So I sent my other pairs to them. Compare with my old shoes which been done in Vancouver in a lower price( or even similar price in Fairview mall), I can tell the significant difference in craftsmanship. The shape, the clearness and the careless about your leather/velvet/suede/satin etc. They told me they did not even thinning my original leather sole, every piece is precut. They located in Yorkdale mall and open till mall closes. I've tried the other one in Fairview mall but they close so early :( And yes, for those people like me who come from west coast the price for adding rubber protector for leather sole is much more expensive here( I think it is because the labour cost here is more expensive than in Vancouver), but trust me, your every penny worth.

I thought my local neighborhood shop would do just fine, and indeed, the work was fine, but at $20 to do less than--let's be generous--five minutes of work, this thief is making, at minimum, $240 per hour. Do yourself a favour, do a little research beforehand so you don't get swindled into paying more than what's fair. After posting in my local neighborhood social media group, the sentiments from the others were the same--egregiously overpriced. Buyer beware.

When I came back to pick them up, I was shocked.. he had put on completely different heels. My shoes are beige with a soft rubber heel, but he replaced them with a black completely mismatched heel in a different material. When I asked why he didn't use the same style he originally promised, he simply said "he didn't have it". No phone call, no warning, nothing. When I asked why he didn't let me know before changing the entire look of my shoes, he just stared at me with no explanation. In the end, I still had to pay for a repair I never agreed to. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you care about your shoes.

Now I can send pictures before going in to the shop and know what I can expect to pay and how long it will take! Really convenient especially if you need the shoes back by a certain time. Case in point: I needed the bottom of a pair of high heels repaired before my office holiday party. Since it was a quick heel fix (just replacing the tips of the heel and sole), I was able to get them back within 2 business days!

He fixed both zippers without problems, giving both pairs of boots a new life! Last week I took in two pairs of fall shoes with heels; the heels had worn down completely, not just the little piece at the bottom but also the heel itself. I was worried that the damage was beyond repair, and sad since these are two of my favourite shoes and the only thing wrong was the heel. I was very glad to see that he was able to replace both heel bottoms and fill in the damage on the heels themselves - good as new. Thank you!
