Last night, they wrongfully towed my boyfriend's Jeep from my apartment complex even though he was parked in a designated VISITOR parking spot. The word "VISITOR" is literally painted on the pavement, and there are signs saying the entire row is for visitors. My leasing office was confused too because my apartment complex does NOT even use visitor parking passes, despite Quality Towing trying to claim that was the issue. What makes this even crazier is the photo they sent to my leasing office as "proof" literally shows the tow truck parked directly over the painted visitor markings on the ground. We honestly could not believe it. On top of that, they were extremely rude and unprofessional while handling the situation.. Thankfully, the leasing office stepped in and confirmed the tow should not have happened, so we did not have to pay the almost $300 fee to get the Jeep back. read more

I have NEVER in my life dealt with a company this rude. In person and over the phone, the story changes and even though there is documentation, I have experienced them lying straight to my face (being told my insurance company had not called when their own paperwork said it did which was shown to me by another employee). I stood in their lobby for 15 minutes and listen to a man verbally abuse an employee cursing like a sailor. My car was handled fine, none of my things had been tampered with or anything and the lot seemed secure, but I'd rather push my busted car home than have to deal with this office again. What I find so funny is that they reply to these reviews with information about the person that left the review and the business that was done with them. Maybe when they see this review they can find all those notes about the business they have done with me they couldnt seem to find when I called a half dozen times. If there were a zwro to choose i would have chosen that. The towing portion is top tier. The mechanic shop was sketchy and rude. They over charged me for parts, didnt check car to make sure the repair was successful, and as soon as i tried to start my car once i came home the issue was still the same. I told them to come jump me off and they wanted to charge me 50 cash. They offered to tow it back in again to fix it again after charging me almost 1100.00 to replace a started that didnt work after i had paid them. The owner treated me like i was ignorant likening my started situation to a steak purchase. What??? They were rude, unhelpful, and left me stranded with two kids and no ride to get help. Let me be crystal clear: Quality Towing is the single most unprofessional, aggressively rude, lying, has no empathy, and downright miserable company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The name "Quality Towing" is honestly the funniest joke of the entire experience -- and trust me, nothing else about them is remotely humorous. The only "quality" here is the quality of disrespect they deliver with the precision of a surgeon and the enthusiasm of someone who truly enjoys being unpleasant. The employees I dealt with didn't just lack customer service skills -- they behaved like courtesy was an optional add-on they've never once paid for. The level of rudeness I received was so intense I genuinely wondered if I'd accidentally auditioned for a hidden-camera show. Every word out of their mouth had the tone of someone who believes kindness is a contagious disease. When I asked what I was signing when picking up car the girl handing me the papers could not answer what was. Then proceeded to give me attitude when I was reluctant to sign. Talking to them felt like arguing with a brick wall that also rolls its eyes. Their whole operation gives the energy of people who wake up and choose hostility like it's a multivitamin. The attitude, the scamming, the absolute disdain for basic decency -- chef's kiss, truly world-class terrible. Not to mention they are running a daycare in the back and dog boarding in the front. Which the dogs roam free, and multiple employees walk around with a child on their hip at all times while attempting to assist customers. If you enjoy being talked down to, dismissed, and treated like an inconvenience for existing, congratulations -- this is your place. If not, run. RUN. In summary: Quality Towing has no quality, no professionalism, no empathy, and no idea how to treat human beings with even a shred of respect. A circus would be more organized. Towing service was great. I'll give them a 10, But I would definitely get a second opinion on any other services. My car has warranty on it. They were trying to charge a fee that didn't sit right with me. So I sent the car to a different auto shop. They were scheduled by USAA on Saturday to tow my car on Monday. Monday morning they called my number; I answered right away but they immediately hung up and did not call back. They then reported to USAA that the job was completed, but did not come to tow the car. USAA contacted them and they replied that I was "out of area " (20 miles away). USAA has now flagged them to not use them. I now am waiting for some other towing company. DO NOT USE THEM! In res[ponse to their claim, the request from the insurance went to them on Saturday. I didn't get their refusal until shortly (1 hour) before they were supposed to arrive on Monday,and they did not tell the insurance company that they were "refusing" the job on Saturday, when other arrangements could be made. I only found out because I was attempting to track their arrival, and the truck suddenly disappeared from the app. I stand by my warning not to use them, because the customer MUST know if they will not be getting service. read more

I own my mistake. I parked in the wrong place and got towed in by quality towing. Paid my cars bail and walked to the lot to pick it up. I done a walk around inspection and found a 5 inch long scratch, to the primer layer of paint( it will not buff out) . I talked to the owner of the business and this is where it went bad."We don't do scratches " was the word and he walked away. Would not hear me or talk anymore. I get a text at 10:00am that they are on their way and will be there in 60-90 minutes. At 10:15am they call and they are at my vehicle and they won't pick it up and canceled the order. Why send the guy TWO HOURS ahead of time? Show up in 10-minutes when the text said 60-90 minutes. Even if the estimated time text is automated you are showing up TWO HOURS EARLY! Her solution: Just go and when you are there re-submit the order with your insurance. I said "so that you can then take 60-90minutes while I stand there?" Her response "yeah. we're busy." Can I leave negative stars? Twice now this company has been sent by roadside assistance to me. The first time they damaged my vehicle, and when I attempted to speak to them about it, I was called ugly names and told that I caused the damage. Impossible, as my car sat for over a week because of a lost key. When I pick it up the day after they tow it, my tire is flat and the rim is now cracked. How is it? My tire didn't go flat the whole week. The car sat with them. Mysteriously goes flat overnight if they didn't cause the damage. Then they send out a tow truck for a tire change without a jack, and wanted me to sign a blank form. I couldn't read it first, telling me I had to sign it before they could touch my vehicle. Mind you, this is after they tried to use my jack which doesn't work, and then left it wedged under my vehicle, and drove off. Just ask for a different company if they ever send these guys. My car would not start so I called roadside assistance via my insurance company ( USAA). When they showed up the driver looked under the hood and saw the alternator had fallen off its bolts and rod. He assure me that Quality would take care of the problem so I allowed them to tow it to their shop. First mmistake. Mechanic said alternator was fine so he reattached it for 375 dollars. Car would not start again so they told me to bring it back to them . I even requested that they pick up my car when I called my insurance company. Then was told alternator was bad and had to be replaced for another 675 dollars. Why this Mechanic didn't test the alternator the first time is a mystery but apparently he told his boss ( the owner) he did test it. Invoice for first repairs never stated alternator was tested. I was double charged for labor ( I had no problem paying for alternator as that was not their fault but their stories didn't match, I was getting different information from the mechanics and the owner. Utter BS. When I went to pick it up the receptionist was fairly nice but when I asked to speak with the mechanics and get detailed information on the work she told me to "Get the f#ck off our property, we're done with you". Avoid this place like the plague. I've already contacted USAA who doesn't take kindly to their insured most who are Vets and Gold star families, being treated so horribly. read more

Try actually inspecting vehicles before you tow at 3am! I wish I could leave a worse review. My car was towed from my apartment complex while being parked legally there with a parking decal. I have lived there for 3 years and this has never happened. I was never reimbursed for Uber's I had to take in order to make it to work and to get to my vehicle the next day since it was a weekend day. I called the morning it was towed and they confirmed they could identify my parking decal while my car sat in the impound lot. I was told it would be $300 to get my car out and then I would have to come back during the week to dispute this charge and ignorant mistake on their behalf. I was given nothing to make this situation right other than to be told I could have my car back free of charge with it being held for over 24 hours. I was involved in a vehicle collison off of Joe White Ave in Myrtle. I was not at fault and had a police unit witness the incident. My vehicle was taken to Bad Quality Towing for storage while insurance did their thing. I was given a form by the at fault party's insurance to go claim my personal items from my vehicle. To clarify my vehicle is a paid off vehicle with no leins or other party entitlements. I own/owned my vehicle. The employee of Bad Quality Towing -"You are not getting s**t out of the vehicle". And continued to belittle any claim or conversation to rectify this misunderstanding. I tried to question further; why I could not gather my items? Their response was "You need to calm the f**k down". I left feeling defeated and cheated. I contacted a lawyer. The only response I have recieved since this incident. Has been from the insurance party that took responsibility. They claimed what Quality Towing did was illegal and told me I can still get my stuff. Unfortunately the vehicle had already "already" (I wonder if it had been moved prior to my interacton and that is why Quality Towing decided to act/behave the way they did.) been moved and paid for. Buddy of mine made a mistake in an effort to fix his car and used his insurance to tow his car to a Firestone down the street. He lives in a neighborhood with narrow roads and trees all over, however the tow truck was able to get into even the tightest of spaces. They take cars that are legally parked with a pass and remove the pass and then take pics as "proof" if they are the towing service in your area be vigilant and firmly attach the parking pass and photograph your car with the pass in it because these people are scum and will lie to your face. I was told by the tow truck driver, they could look at my car by end of day so I could plan whether to rent a car and for how long. The tow truck driver called the shop to confirm the vehicle could be looked at by end of day. When I arrived at the shop, Jan told me they could not look at it until the middle of the following week. Jan was extremely rude and short. She blamed everything on the tow truck driver stating he was told it would not be looked at till the middle of next week. I had my car then towed to the dealership. it is extremely unprofessional for Jan to be so disrespectful and blame the tow truck driver for lying. He had made arrangements to get me to tow to the shop in the first place. Still in business only from scams. To keep it short... Got a flat tire on a Sunday and called for a tow to have the car picked up and repaired. We declined the ride with the driver because we still had some things to finish up. When I called for a status, the lady said we don't work on vehicles on Sundays that it would be Monday. (Thinking good thing we didn't ride with the driver). The lady at the desk says she did not know. Now that my wife and kids are stranded, I have to get them a hotel and get the car towed to a facility that works Sundays. I set up the tow from another company and they tell my wife that it will be $110 and I need to call in for payment to release the car. I call in to make payment and then the lady says $238. (again she doesnt know). When I go to give my double payment she now says we have to pay in person! This then requires her to take an Uber there and back to the hotel. Be smart and read the reviews that show the significant amount of SCAMS that this company performs. read more

This company is a joke. Towed my car, worked fast as hell to get it out of there when they saw us coming, hauled ass with my car. Usual tactics I'm sure, I get it. That's what you do for a living. Their 24 hour operation is a joke. They hold your car hostage until they see fit. They know they have the upper hand, and they make you wait until they are ready. All while watching you through their little cameras, while bugs eat you alive and your kid is getting sleepier by the minute. But whatever.... I'll get my child home by 2am hopefully, since we live in Charleston...2 hours away. My other child is home alone, because we were supposed to be home hours ago. Obviously they don't care about that...but it's a big deal to me. Glad I don't live here, will never have to deal with them again and would never choose to voluntarily. I will try my absolute best to keep this short and straight to the point. My vehicle was towed from this company. I genuinely did not mean to park where I was not suppose too. I was staying at a motel where I saw a truck was parked and also staying at the motel I was at. We arrived late at night with my wife and 7 month old child. Since I did not second guess parking there from seeing the previous truck there. I did not second guess myself. Needless to say, I was not suppose to park there. The truck I previously saw was parked where I left my vehicle the night prior. Of course, I contacted the towing company. Got a Lyft and arrived at the towing company. I'm not from SC, so I saw a sign for "Quality Towing". I saw a building to the right but it said "Auto Napa" so I quickly dismissed it being the actual towing building. There was a blue Ford truck with a boat attached to the back directly in front of a fence. I saw the fence partially open behind the truck/boat, and saw a small building with the words "Quality Towing" at the end. Me never been there, assumed that was the building. As I walked closer, I saw it said "Auto Sales" underneath it. This is when I knew I'm clearly not in the right place. I saw the "Auto Napa" building to my right with 3 garage doors open and 3 gentlemen in the area. I asked one of the men if they knew where Quality Towing is at. Another man, who I learned later on was the owner of Quality Towing, quickly approached me and told me I was trespassing. I told him, I'm sorry, it was not my intention, I was just trying to find "Quality Towing". Needless to say, he was rude and did not care. He replied. This is the building. It has a big blue door in the front. I again, told him I didn't see the sign. I payed for my towing fee and was waiting for the front desk clerk so I could give her my vehicle keys to have my car driven to the front of this business. Another lady was in front of me and again, the owner came in and told her they explained her issue and she cannot retrieve what she was trying to retrieve. But again, he said it in a rude manner, which there was no need for. This was the owners attitude the entire time from the moment he told me I was trespassing. I asked the front desk lady who that man was and that's when I was told he was the owner. He overheard me and asked if I didn't like the business to leave and take it somewhere else. I told him I was waiting to get my car. And I had already paid. Plus why would I leave and do my business elsewhere if this towing company towed my car? He again started being belligerent and said at some point. If you come back "I'll shoot you, or I'll have you shot." This is when I did something I wish I didn't do, but the only reason I did it was to make a statement. The statement I was thinking in my head is, "Would he be speaking to be any differently if I was in my police uniform?" Because I did nothing wrong to this man. I did not disrespect him and I was never rude to him. This idea did not go as planned. When I showed the owner my Police City ID, he said, "So you think you just wave your police badge at me and expect to be treated any differently." I was astonished. The owner said let me take a picture of that. I said go right away and held my police city ID so he could record or take a picture. It appeared he was recording me. I only told him I just didn't understand why he was being so rude and disrespectful. A older man was standing behind me and I even told the owner, he's a witness to how you've been acting. To my luck, when I looked back at the witness, he had a face that pretty much said, "I didn't see or hear anything." Because he did not turn to face me or acknowledge anything that was occurring. I just told the owner again good luck because he repeated he would send this to my commander in chief. I gave the lady the keys to my car. Another employee who was kind, turned in my car and I thanked him. And I said I'm sorry you have to work with someone like that. Which he replied, "That's an everyday thing." My sole purpose and reason for this review is not to bash or ridicule this business. This review was meant only to expose the owners behavior. I believe his name was Ryan. But I could be wrong. I just couldn't go about my day knowing the owner behaves in this manner on a normal basis. Especially given the fact that I was not being disrespectful or rude to him at any point. I hope and pray that no one else has to experience what I did that day. And I pray and hope the owner finds peace in whatever causes him to behave in this manner. read more

Our truck broke down and Endurance set us up for towing with Quality. Paige was so helpful, she even looked into if they could take our Endurance policy. Sure enough they could. We not only got a great tow truck driver we were treated so professionally when we arrived at the shop. We had the truck towed and repaired by them all in the same day! WOW is all we could say.
