We just stopped in here for a pint. Everything was a bit average (service, pricing) except for the interior - this place is absolutely gorgeous.

THE BEST! music was wonderful! So was the stew. All of it was just a really great time. Had to wait a few but it was so worth it.

On our first night in Galway we let time slip away from us. We took a taxi to dinner and the first two pubs turned us away because they weren't seating anymore people. We walked in to Quay's and got the same response from the manager. I felt nearly teary. I asked him if he had any recommendations for someplace that would seat us. He made a little face and said "come on". He took us downstairs and let us sit at the bar. I'm so grateful. The bartender was super friendly and polite. We ordered fish and chips and beverages right away. The fish and chips were delicious, hot and crisp. After we ate, we went up the stairs and listened to some super fun and fantastic live music for a bit. This place is awesome.

Solid Irish pub and restaurant! Stopped in for some pints of Guinness and to hear some Irish music. Decided to have dinner in the attached restaurant downstairs, glad we did. It was fantastic! I ordered the mussels and my hubby got the roasted chicken. The mussels and the broth were amazingly tasty, fresh. The chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. An excellent evening in the Latin quarter.

The ambience is perfect for an Irish bar. The service was quick and efficient. The cider was ice cold. I'm not a seafood eater so I was pleasantly surprised to find curry on the lunch menu. The flavor was perfect. The rice was cooked perfectly. The naan was flavorful and cut in the perfect shape to scoop more curry. The pineapple on the rice was lovely as it gave me a pop of sweet in the midst of the curry.

This is the perfect spot in Galway for a pint and some live Irish trad music! We didn't try the food - but the drinks were great. The place is often packed, but we were able to find a seat each time. Such fun vibes and the highlight of our time in Galway!

Gather around and let me tell you the tale about a burger I once ate in Quays Bar in Galway. It was a delicious morsel. Rather unique in that it had a very strong char. The center defied physics and somehow remained juicy and melty. There was a tangy sauce to accompany it, all sandwiched in a delicious bun to die for. I was in shock! What culinary wizardry had I unexpectedly encountered on my travels? Definitely an all-time ranked burger on my list. With some coaxing, I was able to convince the wife to go with me again on a second night. Sad to report, the coveted burger was not as well-executed in its encore appearance, but still good. At least one of the cooks knows exactly what they are doing with that burger, so good luck on your night. In seriousness the bar and restaurant are excellent. The live music beautifully sets the scene. The food was all very high quality. The service was attentive and they genuinely cared whether you were having a nice time and enjoying the food. A must-stop for the traveler through Galway.

Can't help but like this spot. In the middle of the action, easy during the day to get a pint, great wings, and no rush to move out! Service is like I experience in Ireland, friendly but need to flag down! The background music is all Irish classics and pub tunes etc. This is one of the few late night pubs.

Delicious Fish & Chips! The breading is so light and crispy compared to American fried fish. Service was quick and friendly, which we truly appreciated because we were on a schedule. A nice pub-like atmosphere. Worth the money.

Ireland bucket list trip! This place had best food! So much fun! Irish experience

The beef and Guinness stew is a bit salty, but so good! We also enjoyed the fish and chips. Very nice breading.

They, like many pubs in Galway feature an early show (for tourists mainly) as well as the more traditional 9 pm session. The two- person band we saw featured a fantastic guitarist with a nice voice and a flautist who played a variety of instruments. As we arrive a bit before 5, we had no problem finding a small low table with a couple of stools near the band. The pub is quite large and it was possible to hear the music throughout the place. We ordered drinks at the bar (a bit over priced) and enjoyed our sips for 90 minutes before we had to leave. The band played non-stop the whole time. By the time we left the place was quite full with lots of people standing-the crowd was dominated by Americans. This was a fun taste of Irish culture in one of the more historic pubs in the area dating to the 1600s.

The fish and chips were quite delicious and worth every penny of purchasing them even though they're more more expensive than any other place on the strip we did get a beer and cider, which was also quite tasty but it's basic. Also they ask for a tip which hasn't happened to us yet... Ambiance is dark and very Irish but cool spot to check out
