We had an amazing experience working with Mo as our florist for our recent wedding at Bar Harbor Inn and Spa on 6/21. From start to finish she was communicative and worked hard to make our vision come to life. We were able to send her inspirational photos of what were envisioning for our bouquets and boutonnieres and we were so impressed with the final product. She was willing to send us quotes for multiple different floral options and worked with us to create a package that was within our budget. She was able to deliver our flowers to our hotel room where we were getting ready at the Bar Harbor Inn and Spa which we were really appreciated. I love having flowers in our hotel rooms when we do an extended stay and Queen Anne's Flower shop hit it out of the park! There was a small hiccup (not their fault!) and they fixed it beautifully. When you hit the "5 stars" on Yelp the description is "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" That is perfectly fitting for my experience with Queen Anne's. We chose them to do the floral arrangements for our wedding and soon found out that Chelsea (the owner) and her team are capable of so much more. She listened to my ideas, came back to me with creative suggestions and was responsive to everything that I needed or wanted. We were married in the evening on New Year's Eve at Side Street Cafe and Queen Anne's decorated the space with candles, flowers, evergreens and lights. Absolutely saved the day! My mom had a friend who made my wedding bouquet. It was beautiful but really lacked the fullness & vintage style i requested. So the day of my wedding in an emotional panic, I walked into Queen Annes flower shop and asked for assistance with sprucing-up the bouquet. Without hesitation she agreed even though she had a full schedule and deliveries to make. Within 3 hrs she redid my bouquet and delivered it to my hotel front desk. It was so unbelievable & beautiful! I left my credit card info with her and told her to please helfix it and I didn't care about the cost. She only charged me $50.00! She saved my day and brought a smile to my face. I would have paid so much more and she could have over charged me but it shows her true character. Words can describe how this act of kindness really makes a difference. Amazing customer service and care!! Attached a before and after photos. Hiring Mo of Queen Anne's to do our wedding flowers was one of the absolute best decisions we made in wedding planning. Mo listened carefully to all my suggestions and ideas for flowers and created arrangements that were absolutely beautiful and beyond my wildest dreams (and well within the budget estimate she initially gave). In addition to my bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, and the groom and groomsmen boutonnieres, Mo also designed, built and decorated a beautiful chuppah for us. A couple weeks before the wedding we also asked her to do decorations for the chairs for our outdoor ceremony. The day before the wedding, we asked her about doing flowers for our 4 parents and 2 grandmothers to wear. She not only did all of these on such short notice, but they all came out beautifully. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, she was easy to work with, communicative and really nice. She not only followed my color scheme and bouquet shape, but she was able to use specific flowers I requested including purple and white roses, calla lilies, Picasso lilies, and purple irises, my very favorite flower, which another florist on MDI told me were not available in August. We got more compliments on the flowers than on any other part of our wedding and it was all thanks to Mo. I should also mention that the bouquets all held up incredibly well from a pre-ceremony signing with our officiant at 10:30 am until we finished the last photographs around 7 pm. I dropped off my bouquet at my family's house the next day so my parents could enjoy it for a few more days and it still looked beautiful the next morning (I had it in water overnight). I didn't have any issues with flowers falling out of the bouquet or anything. I recently got married in beautiful Bar Harbor. As an out-of-town bride on a budget, I decided to order my flowers in bulk from a local provider. They were nice enough, but I wanted to add some special touches to mine and my bridesmaids bouquets. Queen Anne's was recommended by our wedding venue, and I was pleasantly surprised! The fresh flowers were gorgeous, and I ended up picking about 20 stems to add to our bouquets. They were so gorgeous and really helped create the look I was going for! Most of the flowers I chose were about $3 a stem but totally worth it. read more

The mark of a good florist in not in the selection of flowers they have, but in how they arrange them and package it. Anne was simply amazing. She managed to put together a beautiful bouquet of flowers and advised me as I pick and choose from her small but wonderful and adequate selection of flowers. And once that was done, she arranged and "wrapped" the bouquet in a minimalist way that helped to bring out the beauty of the bouquet. I was very happy with the bouquet and was impressed. read more

The perfect business and people to work with....I emailed Mo to send flowers on behalf of my grandmother for her brother's funeral. I could not have been more pleased with the experience ordering from KY and trusting Mo to provide a beautiful and tasteful arrangement for the funeral services. On short notice she provided the perfect piece and even sent me a picture of the arrangement that I could show my grandmother. That little gesture gave my grandmother so much relief about not being able to be at her brother's funeral. She was so worried that the family would not know how much she wanted to be there. It was the only other flower arrangement at the service since the family had asked for church donations in lieu of flowers. But they hadn't realized how sparse and lonely that would make the service and were also impressed and thankful for Mo's beautiful artistry. read more
