Our daughter and her friend were visiting for a few days so we went out for the sunset sail. It was only 2 days after Hurricane Milton so we weren't sure if Joel would take us out. He did and the 4 of us were his only passengers! It was a beautiful sail along Fort Myers Beach and we were able to see a few dolphins...unfortunately, they never stayed above water long enough for a picture. Joanne supplied us with beer, wine and hard seltzers as well as sodas and waters. It was a pleasure chatting with them and we were amazed to find out that Joel built the catamaran! Very sincere conversation about the area and truly went above and beyond to give fulfilling trip. While out on the island shelling, they carry chairs out for everyone and put up umbrellas for all the groups. Even if you were not sitting there at the moment. Was really nice to come back to. We enjoyed just sitting on the beach of the island as much as the shelling. They made only one mention of appreciating tips if you enjoyed yourself. No tip bucket, no signs posted asking for tips. They earned a tip and would have gotten it even without a mention. The few poor rating reviews posted here you will notice were years ago. No way that can be who is running this now. The online process was simple and quick and I immediately received a confirmation with instructions on time and where to meet. Captain Steve and Laura were great! My grand-kids were quizzing the adults, after we left of everything we learned. I was amazed by the bird island. I really couldn't believe they all hung out together and there were no issues lol It was so much fun watching the dolphins swim behind the boat and we learned they are actually surfing our wave!
