I think the owner was the one that did my threading. She was so busy. I got there at 5:15 and waited an hour because she was doing a facial and another person was there for threading as well. Every 2 weeks I make it a point to come here to get my eyebrows threaded with my wife after her haircut! I'm always on the go so this place makes my life so much easier with everything else that goes on! Nikita always welcomes walk ins which is super convenient for anyone! I have been looking for a new eyebrow threader for a few months now since I just moved here with my husband. I found a place in San Marcos but every single time my skin would be very red and burn and I would get really bad bumps. She told me this was normal and to just ice it but it didn't feel normal. I stopped going to her after a few times and turned to yelp to find someone new. I happened upon Queen Threading and read all the great reviews and saw that people had been going to her for years. I decided to go on Friday because my eyebrows needed some desperate help. She was very sweet and made me feel welcome. I let her know my concerns and she told me it really depends on how fast they do it (the faster they thread the more irritiation you get) so she did it very slowly, it was still a bit painful but that's because I had her reshape them so its always a little more painful when I do that. She talked me through it and the end result was amazing!!! I have never ever been this happy with how they turned out. Also I was barely even red after, no burning feeling! I do have a couple bumps but you can barely see them and I know they will go away soon. I think I just have extremely sensitive skin. I am so happy I found this place! Loved my first experience! I have been unhappy with the previous threading place I have been going to for a while and I finally tried to do someplace new and I am so happy that I did! I went first thing in the morning and I was happily greeted. The place was clean and nice. Nikita is so gentle with her threading. Today I had my second facial at Queen Threading and I think today was even better than the first time, if that's possible. Nikita is attentive to your skin as well as to you, the person, which I absolutely enjoy! My facial was calming and serene, and Nikita knows just how to massage the product into your face and neck. The products she uses smell nice and not chemically which is important with something so close to your nose. The products used are all natural. Nikita's facial massage technique is amazing and feels better than one of those pricey snobby salons that cost an arm and a leg! After my delightful facial I decided to have an eyebrow threading which I've never had before. Nikita and quick and such a pro, and is helping me to get my tweezed too thin brows back to where I want them. This is one thing I will definitely keep doing for myself as the facials and now the threading are so wonderful! I highly recommend Queen Threading for the facials AND threading, and will be back at least monthly for this lovely experience. Nikita has lots of specials, just call to find out what's going on! I really wanted to like this place based on all the wonderful reviews however my two experiences were very disappointing. The first time I went the main woman completely rushed and did my eyebrows in like 2 minutes and afterwards there was still hair that needed to be cleaned up. It was a total waste of money, but I thought I'd give it another shot and go back since the location is super convenient for me. However, I will never be back. She completely rushed the threading and afterwards my eyebrows were NOT even and there was still parts that needed to be cleaned up. It's so sad because I really wanted to support a small business but I will definitely be going somewhere else. Also the service was so so awkward and did not make me feel welcomed at all.
