I was not in a good financial place and felt like I could get dismissed for being overqualified or slammed because I didn't formally make an appointment but they did goy me on board very quickly in the long term temporary assignment I'm still on now. My interactions with staff have always been professional and Jennifer herself has always made me feel like she had my back and supported me, something very people have done in my professional life. While there have been situations they can't control that have popped up in my assignment, Percy and other staff members have made me feel like they cared and took what I said seriously. They've also never been flaky on pay and made sure their workers get paid on time. I told them about a pending wage theft case for a substantial sum that I'm still dealing with and they have never, ever expected me to work for "maybe" money or put me off on that front. But what really makes them above and beyond is the fact that they sent me a New Year's gift card that I wasn't even expecting to thank me for my service. Many employers and contractors I worked with didn't do that. They are the only temp agency I've dealt who ever did that so if I knew someone who needed temps or someone who needed a job they had to fill, I'd refer them here in a heartbeat.

We talked and i got some helpful interview tips, and got an interview (and ultimately the job where I am now) with a financial services company. I had a pretty good experience overall with the company, and would recommend checking them out if you are in the market for a job. One thing that could be improved on was follow-through, especially towards the end of the hiring process. I basically had the job in hand, but was waiting for confirmation...and I followed up with Core, but did not hear anything back. Perhaps it was the hiring company that dropped the ball, but it was a bit concerning that i basically had the job, but didn't have a specific start date nailed down. The hiring compnay stepped in and all was well, but keep that in mind. That may be how things go in these type of situations, so keep that in mind. Still, I would recommend Core and Catherine in particular. Good luck with your job searches!
