Quei due is the place to have a relaxed evening or just a simple lunch with friends. The atmosphere is very cozy and lovely. I have tried mozzarella and tomato and liked it. They also offer a wide selection of pizzas. Prices here are affordable and service is friendly too.

    Cute restaurant + Christmas decor!

My neighborhood pizza restaurant. This place is super cute. Brick oven pizza with cute lighting and decorations everywhere. They have chairs in different pastel colors - my favorite being the lavender :) The food is ok here. I will come back regularly only because it's a 2 min walk from my apartment. Sometimes I don't have the time to walk out to the chaos as this place is tucked away in a quiet street. I am a bit picky with my pizza since I'm in love with all the Napoletano style cooking. So of course my benchmark in comparison is pizza from Naples. Therefore, when comparing to that, this place isn't great - just ok. But for Milano it's acceptable ;) They have fresh pasta too, i enjoyed the ragu! Dessert, you must get the pear/chocolate pie - amazing! buon appetito!!

    The five layer chocolate!

My husband, me, and three friends stumbled in soaked from a July downpour. All of us were hungry…read moreand dripping. The owner greeted us warmly at the door and had our whole party seated right away. I had read reviews about the pizza and thought it the perfect place to escape the rain, wait out the storm, and stuff our bellies until the rain stopped and we could call an UBER. There were just a few tables occupied, which made it feel like we'd found something of a hideaway. We started with a cheese plate and wine, then shared a cheese and pepperoni pizza. Everything came out fast and everything was delicious. The cheese plate especially was worth ordering. What made the night, though, was the owner. His family is originally from Egypt, and he brought such genuine warmth and joy to taking care of us. That kind of hospitality can't be faked. When we left and were walking down the block, he called after us holding one of my friend's phone charger that was left behind on the table. We were super appreciative. :) If you find yourself in Milan -- rained on or not -- go. Great pizza, great wine, excellent service, and a host who clearly loves what he does.

It was very hot in Italy and the…read morerestaurant did not seem to have great ventilation or AC (as is the case in many European cities). We were seated in the large party room in the back. The first dish, a linguine with pesto, was delicious. The next dish, breaded chicken with fries, was utterly disappointing. The chicken was hard and flavorless. Several guests had insects or spiders in their food. Desert was ice cream that came in a cup. Maybe the restaurant is better for pizza or for smaller parties. It just did not work for our large group.
