I ordered through door dash, My suggestion for the spice level was ignored and my cucumber salad was super sweet. I asked for mild on both dish and both were VERY spicy...I could barely eat it. Their excuse was, "new staff". The food is not consisted due to new staff all the time. When I went there for take out, my Laab was cold and only had 2 pieces of cabbage. Quench, Maplewood Mall instagram: @xcyanneats Khaopoon very light, not heavy with coconut milk and the noodles were cooked just perfectly fine. one thing that i did need was just a squeeze of lime, but i was too much in a rush to ask for it! lol i did ask for the extra spice though and was given both dried peppers and chili oil which made up for it Green Monster this was my first time i've tried this and it's a hit! i now understand why people love this drink so much, it not something heavy on the stomach and it reminds me a lot of the dee that's made the hmong way. with this drink instead of the sugar being the sweeter the mango played a big part instead which i love bc mangos are my fave sadly, khaosoy wasn't on the menu but i can't wait till it is so i can get my fix. THIS PLACE. I was so sad when they left the mall, and SO happy when they returned! This is the place that made me fall in love with tricolor. It's a popular spot, so be prepared for a little wait. The kaopoon smelled delicious, but I was here for something sweet. The tricolor did not disappoint! It was sweet, coconutty, and packed with those fun shapes we love. The cantaloupe was very fresh. I've had snowflakes, bubble tea and papaya salad from the previous Quench spot but I have to say, I am loving this new Quench. Their green monster drinks are nice and refreshing. I got a "Sexy Susan" (couldn't help myself) and added pineapple and banana to it; it tastes similar to the traditional Hmong cucumber drink. The only thing I wish they had on their menu, was a list of what's in the drinks. The "Sexy Susan" I ordered is usually just cucumber and spinach and idk if I would have enjoyed that as much; thank goodness I asked what was in it, beforehand. I've tried the spring rolls, they are decent and not the typical spring rolls you'd get elsewhere. I probably wouldn't drive out specifically for them though. However, I had the kapoon today and I have to say, I would make the drive out for it, in the future. It's what made me hop onto Yelp and write this review. The kapoon reminded me of the curry my mom used to make as a kid, before her tastebuds changed (not for the better, sorry mom). The cashier asked if I wanted coconut milk and cabbage, so you might want to make sure you get coconut milk added (I saw a review of the previous Quench that said they couldn't taste the coconut, adding this as a tip in case you might need to request that coconut milk be added). Anyway, I know Quench moved over to a new spot and they can't legally have tapioca pearls in their drinks cause of that new spot, but I tell ya, you won't miss it. Though, that could just be because I dislike tapioca pearls in the first place, after a bad experience with a giant bubble tea drink challenge; never again I tell ya, never again. read more

My second time coming here. The girl in the brown sweater acted annoyed like I was bothering her. I felt uncomfortable getting my order taken. Was super awkward when she turned the tablet around for a tip. Uh no you are not getting one. I just want to get my food and get away from you asap. As soon as she turned around she started laughing and talking to her coworkers. I did nothing to you lady. Wtheck. Also they didn't give me and jelly or boba pearls this time in my smoothie? I stopped at their new location, and I am liking it. The staff are friendly to chat with, and knowledgeable about their menu items. Also their food is always made fresh right before my very eyes. Which is a must especially when they offer very delicious smoothies. Of course just having one of their fruity smoothies, actually filled me up, which might make it almost a meal. Yet also throw in some papaya salad and I am good to go. Since I am digging this new place I do so want to go back. read more
