This street food stall shows up periodically outside Waterloo station along with some Ethiopian coffee, Jerk Chicken and Pad Thai stalls. Most of the vendors present you with samples to try so it's sometimes difficult to choose which to go for. Today I opted for a burrito and was not disappointed.
I decided on lime & coriander rice, black beans, half chicken/half slow-cooked pork Carnitas, with cheese, lettuce, soured cream and chipotle sauce. It cost £6.
It was pretty tasty, and quite filling, but above all it was surprisingly neat. So much so that I got none of the burrito juice on my fingers from the last bite, like so often is the case.
It's on par with some of the more established high street burrito shops, and I'd go again. read more
