The check in machine doesn't work without pressing the buttons multiple times. And if you can't get it to work, it restarts. It's absolutely asinine! Fix it or get a human to check in patients. I overheard the staff complaining of someone checking in at 320. Someone came out to let me know it was too late for the type of test I was getting and I needed to have fast. I was never told this but I understand. It was the demeanor this staff person had with me that I was not ok with. She was soo rude. The paper I was given by the doctor showed they opened until 4 but their door says 330 so before arriving I had no idea I was arriving so close to closing time. I was fine with rescheduling but their customer service was just terrible. I will be going to a different location even if it means it's further away and that's unfortunate. read more

Male lab tech was rude for no reason and was nosey too asking me irrelevant questions.

I went there to get blood work through my doctor. I did not have an appointment so I showed up at 7 AM and checked in as a walk-in and I was seen at 7:20. The guy that took My blood very nice and super helpful when I asked him how long it would take for the results he told me where each test was going and how long it would take. I've been there before and always had a pleasant experience. read more

Terrible customer service. Nobody is there besides who takes you for your screening. I came early my appointment was for 1140a i made on their terrible phone scheduling and was told they don't do my screening after 11a and I'm not even on the list. She couldn't help me nor did she care. Heard laughing and Spanish speaking behind the glass they covered. read more

Recently returned to quest for regular lab work prior to my doctors visit. I have been going to this quest location for a number of years without any issues, today was different. I was greeted by new staff members unwilling to help or assist in any form. I faxed the lab work order from my phone several times while there which was not being received? It appears that the main number on their business card is disconnected though not exactly sure about the fax. Staff was unable to print the lab work order from my phone or email so I had to leave and find a copier. After a short drive I found a fedex kinko and they helped me get a hard copy. I returned to quest only to have the lab tech tell me he can't verify the date and it's not their policy and they cannot call the doctors office to verify. Frustrated, I left! On the way out noticed a pile of used face masked sitting next to the trash can by their entry door. This says it all. Tried to call their main office to make them aware of the situation, again with disconnected numbers and finally another dead end. Total 180* turn around from the old staff. Needless to say I will not be using quest anytime in the near future. read more

Horrible experience doing routine work. My 2!! Year old sons file couldn't be opened, bc they didn't have his consent... that says everything. But like many others have stated, their phone and fax numbers don't work, and when you do actually get through you have a 90% chance of disconnect while you're waiting for your first 10 min of hold time and the other 9% of being disconnected somewhere around the 30-40 min mark. Their staff is all shoulders ( the shrug "I don't know what to tell you, that's our policy" ) after waiting in their front room for 2 hours with a total of 3 people coming in that whole time, they refused to answer their phone when I called to Karen them out. Good times to be had using this branch, if not all of them now. read more

If I could do zero it would be zero. I scheduled an appointment. Came early to my appointment. Checked in, couldn't check in at first but with zero help from the staff checked myself in within 5 min of my appointment. Sat there waiting for 30 min. People with appointments scheduled 30 min after mine were taken before me. After notifying the people that I had an appointment 30 mins before they still called someone with a later appointment before me. The staff unprofessional and quite honest incompetent if they cannot follow a schedule. read more

I wish zero was an option. First experience was in Barrington. Was sent over directly from my dr. Checked in (walk in) only to be greeted by a rude lady that said they don't take walk ins after 3:00 (it was about 3:15). I explained I had a sick child, lived 45 minutes away, and didn't have time to make an appointment as I was sent directly from my dr. She said sorry, I can't test you today. I made a next day appointment for the Crystal Lake location at 10:30. We arrived at 10:30 and checked in. Our name was on the waiting list on the tv. Everyone got called in and we were the last waiting in the waiting room. Several employees passed by the glass door but no one bothered to ask if they could help or what we were there for. Finally at 11:15 after several 11:0 appointments were taken I knocked on the door. The explained that we had an appointment at 10:30 (our name was still on the screen as waiting) and asked how long it was going to be. She said no, we called all of our 10:30 appointments and then turned to another employee and said I don't know I'm on lunch. The other employee proceeded to argue with me about having an appointment. I showed her my appointment confirmation and she continued to argue that they called all the 10:30 appointments. Finally she agreed to see my sick child, gee thanks! Today I sit here trying to figure out how to log in to see results, no instructions from the office and noticed the paperwork has incorrect insurance information. I will never visit another quest. read more

First and last time at this location. The people that work here are rude. The waiting room is so small and hot when full of people. The phlebotomist just cracks the door open, quickly says a mispronounced name and stands there. Doesn't look out in the waiting room. Doesn't repeat the name. Everyone in the waiting room has to ask her what name she said. I have tiny deep veins. She used the thickest needle possible. It was the most painful blood draw I've EVER gotten, and I have been getting my blood drawn every 48 hours. I was left with the biggest bruise. Was told that my doctors office would get the results the following morning. Nope. Of course they didn't. So now I have to hound them to find out where and what my results are. I'll just continue to do my labs at the doctors office, even if that means me having to pay more. read more

I've been getting blood tests every week for months now. Wiktoria is really nice but I usually get Lynnette, who's also very friendly and skilled. Normally I'm afraid of needles but with her it's easy and not painful at all. The wait isn't bad, either. I recommend this Quest. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I had my labs taken 6 months ago and after several attempts to retrieve my results I (nor my doctor) have any results. Up until today the staff has simply pointed the finger elsewhere to throw me into a never ending cycle of telephone calls and pressing numbers until ultimately disconnecting or simply not fulfilling my request to fax the documents to my doctor. However, today was special. An extremely ignorant and aggressive woman returned my call to scream at me and of course again point the finger elsewhere and not accept responsibility of what I can only assume is their office staff's incompetence. If you are considering getting your labs taken here. Go elsewhere and avoid the headache. read more

I went to Quest for my three hour glucose test this morning. I had my one hour test done at a different Quest location, and the difference between the two is night and day. Customer service was wonderful...the tech that took my blood not only did a great job (I have TINY veins), but she was also very friendly and professional. The facility was clean and looks newer than other places I've been. My only complaint is that their waiting room is tiny! If you are able to make an appointment in advance, do so! Otherwise, you will have to wait, but c'est la vie. read more
