So, I was a little skeptical of having to check myself in. I like human interactions. But it went smoothly. I did a walk in for my lab work and I was seen within 15 minutes upon arrival. The phlebotomist was nice and friendly. She actually listen to me when I said I have rolling veins. We chuckled when they did indeed roll. I hate being stacked because of it and many will not listen when you tell them. She made the stick easy and with little to no pain. That alone is why I am giving them a 5. Every year I schedule a checkup as Im 64 and have no insurance. In 2024 I went to Labcorp for pre checkup blood tests. Cost $190.00 Today I go to Quest as my girlfriend said its much nicer. Same scan your ID at kiosk and wait or your appointment time. Get taken back into room and then advised cost was $907.00! only difference from last year was a blood typing test this year for $112.00 So four times as costly as Labcorp. The associate did not know that it only took I time to check my blood pressure. She did it 3 times. The associate took her bloody gloves off and splashed it on the chair and my clothes. I recently went here to drop off a specimen for my daughter and her being young lost the paperwork. I struggled for over a hour to get my daughter's Dr office to resend the paperwork. However, the Quest Diagnostics employee Angelica was so kind and went above/beyond to go ahead to hold the specimen so I could continue with my day while I forwarded her the paperwork via fax! She even was so kind enough as to follow up and call me she received it. I truly appreciate her not having me wait all day and going out of her way so I wasn't worrying about her not receiving the paperwork. If my drs office hadn't sent it my daughter's paper her specimen would've been discarded. read more

Well another perfect blood test! On the way there I was hoping to receive the quality care I received last year and it was even better! My son had an appointment that was made online and confirmed for 12 Noon on 8/5. At no point in the process was there any information regarding pre-payment. He showed up at the Wheatland Road office and was told that he could not make a payment and that he had to make a payment prior to the appointment. He advised that there was no option to make a payment at the point when the appointment was made. It is unreasonable to make a payment prior to having an appointment granted. It is also unreasonable that the staff member did not assist him in making the payment when he was in the office at the scheduled appointment time. Instead, he was turned away with the staff member stating that they could not help him.. If this is the service that they provide, I would be question the competence of any test results that are processed through this facility.... COMPLETELY Unacceptable... read more

If I could give this location no stars I would. Angela or Angel was very rude and disrespectful to my husband and myself. She was very aggressive and unprofessional to the point that I wanted to cancel my appointment. Fortunately I was seen by someone else who was very nice and courteous. Angela was overly rude to several individuals. My husband and myself were the only ones that spoke up for ourselves. She was very out of control this day. My service was last Monday - August 9, 2021. Made an appointment prior to visiting. They had a virtual check in when you entered the room so no in person check in and waiting wasn't long since I made an appointment. Sonya was great and very friendly. She checked my temp when I was called. So I RETURN to this location today with an appointment that the nurse said took HOURS to make. I arrive on time and get back in a timely fashion. The phlebotomist who tried to draw me missed not once but twice! I am HIV positive and I have been getting blood draws for years NEVER jump not afraid of needles. I have GREAT veins not sure why she missed, however it made the process longer because I'm now waiting for another phlebotomist to see if she can get the draw. This has been a HORRIBLE experience and as a new Texan I know there is nothing that will be done. It seems they hire whomever not qualified people. I understand draws can be missed. I'm now in the chair and she is searching for a small needle. And she just missed!! Lord help me!!!!!! read more

Not handicapped accessible. I am walking impaired, I cannot walk more than a few steps. My husband took me to the door and I was able to get to the handicapped cart which I took to the lab, but they would not allow it in. I know some people use the carts who are not really disabled, but I am. Plus some people use their own carts instead of wheelchairs. I went to this facility because it is in Walmart and I could use the cart. They were insensitive to my needs. read more

Friendly and cheerful to people of color, rude and rough in drawing bloodbto those who are not. Staff not racially diverse. Race doesn't matter to me, but the behavior of the staff seems to matter to them. Draw your own conclusion. read more
