I used to go to Expedian when they were on Walnut Creek by Walmart and I never had a bad experience. But since they moved to Broad I feel like I've had issues at every visit. At my last visit, I paid over $100 upfront with insurance. The girl took a swab to test me for COVID&Flu which they charged me another $75 for when I checked out. She didn't tell me it was an additional cost... The NP seemed like he just googled my symptoms and said "oh it's possibly these things." Didn't bother to listen to my breathing or heart rate nor check my ears nose throat like normal checkups. The visit before that, another NP just listened to my differential diagnosis and went along with that and Rx'd me antibiotics rather than actually do appropriate testing. It's been a month since I visited and now they're billing me another $6. They've retroactively charged other family members that have went to this urgent care too. The worst place to go get anything done. I went in for lab work and a couple of other tests; I called to follow up on my lab work several days later and they told me my samples were lost. They didn't ever bother to call me and give me a heads up. I went to get my lab work re-done and when I finally get a call back, they tell me I have to pay another consultation fee which is $150, to have my results explained to me?! Which I was never told prior to getting my blood withdrawn, otherwise, I would have gone elsewhere. They are so unprofessional and rude and are only seeking to squeeze you for every last penny. Extended wait with no one here. I spent over 2 hours in the clinic in total and about an hour before I was seen by the PA. There are no doctors in clinic, just a physician assistant who although very nice, did not have any better differential list that what I did. I feel like when I'm paying to see a doctor, I should see a doctor or at least someone that can give some insight as to potential causes for my symptoms. She finished my exam, didn't say anything, and then immediately excused herself coming back in a few minutes later. Not sure what that was about. She came back in and told me she was going to run the Covid pcr I asked for. I had to try to pull information out of her about what she thought it could be and basically got the catch all "viral"answer..."I don't know" would have been a better answer. The nurse who drew my blood also did not instill confidence - my veins are like fire hoses and she was acting like she couldn't find it. I have never had anyone not be able to hit my veins easily and immediately. Her comment was that she was going to have to send me elsewhere if she couldn't hit my vein ...wtf, she shouldn't be drawing blood if she can't hit my (giant) vein! arrived 5 minutes before appointment, 3-5 minutes later I'm in the process. very friendly and professional. Veronica, the physician assistant was very thorough and friendly. The physician was prompt, cordial and efficient. Checking eyes, ears, throat, lungs and heart. She made an assessment, suggested a treatment plan and called in prescriptions for treatment. 10/14/22-I got bit by a cat and have cat allergies, took time off work to go up to Expedian Urgent Care North Arlington, Texas, when I arrived I was in excruciating pain, my hand was so swole I couldn't drive with it, when I approached the desk the receptionist asked for my member ID(insurance info, not my card), I called my jobs rep got the info, the receptionist confirmed with manager. I ask "your manager said I need my card?" The receptionist says yes and gets manager, I directly said I did not request you, I got the card from my jobs rep- I was only confirming so that I can get what they needed. While waiting the manager begins to stare me down, shake her head and talk about me to colleagues about how difficult I was. I told the manager I can hear you in a monotone voice, after the receptionist finished I paid for treatment before I was seen and asked the receptionist for corporate number, the manager over hears and says I'm the manager how can I help you- very defensively and with an attitude. I said I do not feel comfortable with you assisting me because you seem defensive, I again asked for the corporate number and she said we are refusing your services, I asked "because I don't feel comfortable with you assisting me?" She did not answer and I never got a response why. I never yelled or caused a scene being that I'm in blinding pain. My transaction was voided and I said ok and left. My niece worked in a clinic and mentioned there's no reason for them to deny me services. I will never go back treated unfairly, when ppl are in power they misuse it and unfortunately due to my injury and the severity it's taking longer to heal not getting immediate assistance. My daughter has a yeast infection. After attempts of trying on my own I knew that she needed medical attention as she has been screaming at night for four days now. After looking at her vagina and making very strange comments, he did not even prescribe her nystatin or anything that would help alleviate the pain and he said it was from "hair growth." My husband was the one who took her to the appointment and I was dismayed by the fact that there was no discharge papers for me to read what he even said it was, I was furious as it is a simple fix. I tried to call him to speak with him and after talking he hung up on me as he did not want to be subjugated to any female advice, and that I thought he was lazy. Meanwhile I'm here with my screaming daughter in pain waiting for her pediatrician to open to call in...at the very least Nystatin. He is a male that's all I have to say about this. I will be calling the board to complain and I've NEVER done that. YEARS ago he also told me nothing was wrong with my neck when I injured it on an IOD, no CT OR MRI....I just had a C4-C6 fusion on my neck last year. So this isn't the first time I've had a misdiagnosis (or lack thereof) and a bad experience, this is just the first time I spoke up and it didn't end well...like I said he is a MALE doctor. I don't think I need to say more. Very chauvinistic, you are wrong no matter what he won't hear any other way. He also is the Medical Director over all of these Experians. read more

Went here to after being told I needed to get a doctors note for paruresis (shy bladder) a simple task I'd assume. Apparently not, the doctor refused to simply because "we do not usually write notes for this" save yourself the time and stress and go to a REAL DOCTOR! read more

I've been here on a few occasions, and it is always a positive experience. They are even open on Sundays, which is nice! I use the online appointment scheduling system. Advised to take grandson to an Urgent Care by his pediatrician for high fever. Advised clerk that his temp was 102.9. Waited over 2 hours after check in to finally be escorted to an exam room. His temp 103.4. No antipyretic offered or administered. Another 30 minutes passes before he was examined by a PA. Very pleasant, stated he had bilateral ear infection. Advised strep/flu test. Waited another hour for 20 minute result and final discharge. Received prescription for antibiotics and inflammation.Took him to his pediatrician next day and after exam, advised that he did not have an ear infection and advised to take him to Children's Medical Center. After 4 hour admission to ER, exam by 3 pediatricians, discharged with " flu". read more

Worst customer service! I came in 30 minutes before they closed with a migraine. They wouldn't see me because 'they had taken their last customer for the day.' Your office doesn't close for another HALF HOUR!!! That is the epitome of laziness and horrible service. Even after I explained I had a migraine and simply needed a shot to stop the agony I was in, they wouldn't help. Yet this is supposed to me a medical clinic where medical professionals have sworn oaths to help people?! I will not be back here again. On a previous visit, I had learned that they had overcharged me the last time I was in (which was over 2 years before) and owed me money so I wouldn't have to pay that visit. I had never been notified of the overcharge. I wonder what would have happened if I hadn't gone in? They would have just pocketed the extra money? I had to take my duaghter here with stomach pain. The girls at tbe front were nice. The issue was the service they did not do anything excpet take a pee test and say she dehydrated and she needed to go to the emergency room. Heck i knew she was dehydrated by looking at her lips. They charged me 189.00 for 5 minutes of service. Then i still had to go to the emergency room. My advice leave the urgent care alone. THIS SEEMS LONG BUT THERE'S REASON FOR IT. On 2/8/916 I injured my pinky finger on my left hand. 2/9/16 I went to Expedian Ugent Care, 980 N. Walnut Creek, Mansfield Texas, because my finger was various shades of purple. Ray, the NP on duty, had an X-ray taken. He told me I had a small vertical fracture that I could either continue to buddy wrap it or split it. I would be good as normal in 2 weeks. So, for clarification I asked him, I'll be able to return to normal actives in 2 weeks. He said yes and offered pain Meds. Of which I declined. 2 weeks later I took the wrap off and for about 2 day my still swollen finger got bigger and much more painful. I saw my pcm. He said bones don't mend in 2 weeks. I all ready had a post operative appointment with my hand surgeon 2 days later for a tigger finger procedure I had, so I just waited. I told my orthopedic surgeon what happened. He x-rayed me finger again. Amazing! The hand surgeon showed me my X-ray, I saw the break and where my bones were. The bones weren't even close to being in the correct place. What is going on at Expedian? Quality care isn't one of them. I had to have my finger re-broken, correctly set, a plate and 6 screws and a cask. You would think this urgent care place would at the very least have broken bones down to an art form. Nope! Good thing I wasn't a child planning on being a surgeon or an architect. I do have great health insurance. I'm was lucky. Find some place else to go if you can. They aren't very thorough. Customer service is great, if that matters. read more

I have taken myself and my children here dozens of times. For sports physicals, urgent care and vaccines. I have made appointments or gone in as a walk -in. Everytime I go, I am treated by friendly front desk staff and doctors. I have never had to wait a long time and sometimes am in and out. I think you can expect to wait during peak times, but I have never had anything but excellent services for years. read more

She also gave great college advice for my high school aged daughter who is interested in going into the medical field.
