Crabby, annoyed personnel and a onerous process to have a very simple urine drug test for professional employment. Getting an appointment, which they went over by 15 minutes anyways, was not simple and the whole process felt like what a criminal booking procedure looks like on a cop TV show. If your new employer chooses to use this place, it shows how little they think of you and your time. read more

Do not go if you do not have a doctors order. They don't have a physician onsite so you can't get the testing you want unless you pay out of pocket and without insurance. The website and automated phone number doesn't mention that anywhere. Then when you get into the office the staff was very rude and unprofessional. Ended up leaving without a test. It looks like I had a very similar experience to many of the other people on here as well. read more

If there were zero starts, I would have submitted. They took online my online appointment. After my daughter drove over 30 minutes one way, she was told that he was not able to do the labs since she did not have a dr. order. I asked why they accepted the online appointment then. This was my first time getting a pre employment test done. I went as a walk-in on a Friday around 9:00am. The entire process from check in, waiting, and the test being done was probably about 20-25 minutes. The building was easy to find but I didn't pay attention to the suite number, so I did have a little trouble finding their office, and there wasn't any direction on where to go. I eventually found the suite number by calling quest diagnostics information and found it located on the 3rd level. Once there, I checked in and two people were there ahead of me. I was a walk-in as were the other two. You can see you wait time on the tv. A third person came in and must have had an appointment because she went ahead of me. The front desk lady was kind of rude/didn't care. But the lady doing the test was extremely kind and funny. I was pleasantly surprised by her kindness after reading such negative reviews. I'm not sure if this is all locations but I know on some of the Quest Diagnostic websites said no kids allowed. There were two different women with one kid each there and it looked like the children got to go back with the parent. These ladies were amazing! I was nervous going in having read the reviews and that I was so close to closing on a Saturday 12 for a 12:30 close. But Andrea took me right back; she was so friendly and made me feel right at home. She walked me through my labs and drew my blood in the first go not a small feat for anyone! Had some blood work done and brought my dad in who had to have some blood work done as well . He does not speak very much English . I had to use the restroom fast and told the girl named Jessica if she can wait a minute and she said yea! When I went to the bathroom mind you they are so close to the rooms you can hear everything . She was forcing my dad to verify his name and brithday and I had already explained to her he does not speak English . I've used Quest for many years, and have rarely ever made any appointment to have labs done. In most locations, it's still rather quick. This is the exception. The first time I visited, I waited well over an hour just to pick up the item I needed - no lab or anything, just a pick up. I speak to the person there, and she doesn't even know what container to give me or what to do so she has to call someone else. That should've been my first big red flag. Even once she sorts that out, I received very minimal instructions, and was not given a collection receptacle so I could easily use the container (which I didn't even realize until I got home). I had brought my lab requests with me for them to view, and was told it was fine, just bring back the container. The second visit I was ONLY dropping off the sample. Nobody was at the desk (same as last time) so I signed in and checked the box that I'm only dropping off. I got there at 3pm, only a few people in the waiting room. After over an hour, and several people coming and going (some coming in after me), I finally get the attention of someone, and tell him I cannot wait more. I need to drop this off and get to my doctor's appointment. He says that I didn't have to wait and should've gotten someone's attention. I tell him I checked the box on the clipboard and there was no way to get anyone's attention with nobody at the desk. Don't they look at the clipboard to see? Otherwise why have this option? He apologizes. I ask if he needs anything else, any information. He doesn't even check the order or sample, and just say no, all set. I leave. Right after, they call the doc because they didn't have my personal information (DOB, etc). Then, later, they call the doc 3 times to tell him all the tests he's requested that they cannot run. What the heck?! This was never told to me even when I brought the slip twice and asked if it was all ok. Then they call me because now they don't have my address and can't pull me up in their system. Strange since I've been to Quest many, many times (just not this location). They are disorganized and need someone to manage this office. It's ridiculous that the people who work there don't know what is needed nor do they disseminate the proper information. Seriously - don't go to this office. If you do/must, make an appointment, and good luck. read more

Definitely do not choose this location if you need to do a quick drug screen for a new employer. They are under staffed and not equipped to handle an influx of people with appointments and walk-ins. I had an appointment at 1:30pm but arrived at 1:15 and no one was able to help me until 1:50. There wasn't a receptionist and people waiting also seemed to be frustrated. Once someone was able to help, it only took 5 minutes to get in and out. You could definitely tell the employees were stressed out and overwhelmed. You would think a clinic in Edina would have a little more organization to it. I've been to other testing centers in downtown Minneapolis and in Frogtown and those experiences were much smoother. read more

Terrible customer service from their billing department. I've been working with them for a few months to get them to charge my insurance for services provided, with no resolution. I've called my insurance, and they are willing to pay, but Quest refuses to contact them themselves and sort out the details. With the amount of time I have put in to trouble shooting this for Quest, I feel like they should be paying me instead. read more

I was worried after reading the other reviews here, so I figured I'd better add my own since it looks like my experience was different. I had an appointment for 10:45 am today(Friday). I got there at 10:30 sharp, and signed the clipboard on the front desk. A nurse came out to get me at 10:33, and I was walking out the door at 10:39. Writing this review at 10:47. I don't know how much more I could ask for from a lab test facility. *Update* I got my test results online at 8:43 am on Monday. So, the whole process from when I walked in the door to results in hand was less than 72 hours, including a Saturday and a Sunday. Pretty darned solid. read more

I arrived late to my scheduled appt. The gal went back to set up. A different gal came out about ten minutes later to say that because I was late they didn't have enough time to see me before the next appt. I'm pretty sure this was a cover up for not being ready for me, considering how long it was between the first woman going back to set up and the second woman coming to tell me to reschedule. The amount of time spent to set up for me and how long it actually takes to get a blood draw just doesn't jive with the excuse they made for sending me away, And the "next appointment" wasn't even there yet. Really uncoordinated. Registered in the their check-in computer at the front and was never called on. Had to wait until everyone in the waiting room was tested before being taken back. They promised a 2 day turn time and it has now been a week and my meds have run out yesterday. I needed the test to reorder my meds. Now I may have to go without meds for another week because of this waiting time. Failed to inform me that drug tests have to be sent out of state for lab testing. So much for a local lab! What is the point of this facility? I could have gone to my provider and had them send out for labs, would have been a better experience at least and my provider would have been aware of what was going on with my labs. Terrible, disappointing service. I had an extremely rude lady do urine and hair tests for me; she doubled up as a receptionist. She was utterly mannerless and sharp in her speech. She almost overlooked one of the tests and I had to remind her to do it. She seemed to be in a mighty hurry and near-yelled/snapped at me the entire time. Questions that I had about the procedure or concerns I wanted to voice were most unwelcome and met with exasperated snaps throughout. She took much more hair from my head than was needed - I have done the exact same test at another location before and am comparing. The rudeness and incompetence is inexcusable and perhaps it is because the technician was the only one in the office trying to juggle an additional role as a receptionist, or perhaps it is a lack of training. In any case, I would never go to this location again and strongly recommend you save yourself the trauma and don't either. read more

I had a great experience. I arrived at 7:56 am this morning (Aug. 31, 2016) WITHOUT an appointment, and was seen at 8:10 am. I consider this 14 minute wait nothing as I was a walk in and there were three people there already ahead of me. Once I was seen, I was in an out in under 10 minutes, and it only took as long as it did, as they had to find me in the their system (as I didn't have an appointment) and then input my info. If I had an appointment, I'm sure I would have been in and out in 5 minutes once I was seen. I worked with Yanica. She was extremely professional, courteous and very easy to work with. She made it a great experience. They did a great job for me. It didn't bother me that they didn't have a dedicated receptionist when I was there, as they still went quickly. This company is just another billion dollar medical company making obcense profits off of our broken healthcare system while offering poor service to the low income clients that they serve. When calling about a bill that was mistakingly sent to me instead of my insurance provider they refused to make any effort at all to collect from my insurance company and seemed to relish the oppurtunity to send my account to a collection agency and ruin my credit. The woman I spoke with on the phone was astoundingly unhelpful a rude. If you have any choice in who performs these services for you, DO NOT choose Quest Diagnostics. read more

The picture included in one of the reviews for this place is inaccurate as of September, 2017. Not one item in the waiting room....no tissues, magazines etc. 3 employees were working. I had an appt but was still taken in order of people in waiting room when. Gal who took my blood asked me the same questions continually. Hello.....listen to my answers and don't be such an airhead. She struggled to get my blood...had to try more than once. FYI, there are no typical things in the blood draw room--triangle type thing to put under your elbow while blood is being drawn.,,, was told to hold elbow up and straight. No ball to squeeze to make fist. Everything and everyone seemed inexperienced and unprofessional. If I can avoid going back I definitely will.
