I had a confirmed appointment for a month with an email and confirmation code and when I arrived my appointment did not appear and when I managed to talk to an employee she simply told me that that happened sometimes with the system and that I had to make another appointment I told her that I had to go out to work and on her face it was noticeable that she didn't care and she told me that if I wanted I could wait in the room at a next hour that in reality would be 2 hours after my original appointment. I had an appointment this morning at 11:15, and I wasn't called back until around 11:45. I highly recommend making an appointment (which is very easy to do online!) because every reservation is bumped above every walk-in no matter what time the reservation is. As someone incredibly anxious when it comes to needles and blood work, Kayla, the nurse that drew my blood was phenomenal. I told her I have a bad habit of getting lightheaded and occasionally passing out when I have blood drawn, so she took me to a different room and let me comfortably lie down to prevent this from happening. I also witnessed Kayla assist several other guests very kindly. As a hospitality professional, it's rare to witness Disney level service in a medical facility! I highly recommend not to go here if needed to pay a fee at your own Medical Center I would recommend to pay the $15-30 fee. The people here are not competent if you are 11 minutes lates they will have you wait more than 2.5 hours and I walked out at this point. First appointment of the morning and still had a rude attitude. I stated I had two tests - one that I saw on my account when I made the appointment and one on paper from another doctor. Wouldn't even look at me - just sternly said "it's not there". I started to explain why I know it is and she cut me off telling me again "it's not there, I told you already." I shut up at that point and decided to not let her take out her anger while she was sticking me with a needle. Continued with her negativity when she couldn't find a vein. Frustrated with me - like I was hiding them on purpose. When done, she hands me a cup and just barks "go fill it up". So flipping rude. Well the bathroom doesn't offer you a "wipe" so you can't get a clean catch. No paper towels - I wouldn't trust any results from there and will NEVER go back to Quest again. Malaysia was super rude and uncaring. I didn't need her to chat me up, but just common courtesy. And now I have to go pay again for a test done wrong plus the missed test. read more

Let me share with you on how to be successful in getting your labs completed at Quest. 1) Make an appointment: https://www.questdiagnostics.com/locations/detail.html/GLO/32819/75/1 2) They are overbooked and walk-ins are on standby. You will be waiting all day to not be seen if you're a walk-in 3) Have your confirmation QR code ready for for self-check in kiosk. There are two kiosks available. No one will come to your rescue if you're technology inept. Don't feel bad. I've observed Gen Z's fumble on the kiosk and storm off in frustration because they were unable to check in successfully. 4) SCAN the QR code. I've attempted to check-in by keying in my phone number or the confirmation code. It did NOT WORK. You will get the spinning circle of death thanking you for entering the information and you are confirmed. YOU ARE NOT CONFIRMED. DO NOT SIT DOWN and waste two hours of your life. Verify that you checked in successfully by seeing if your name pops on the TV to the right of the door. There are no signs or instructions advising that the waitlist is published on the TV. It's there. Just look. If you're not on it. TRY TO CHECK IN AGAIN. 5) Once you scan your QR code and you're able to move onto the next step. You must scan your driver's license and insurance card. Hold your ID about four inches from the light for about 30 seconds. The scanner is really slow at detecting your ID. Be patient. Again, there is no staff member that will assist in using the clunky, not user friendly, self-check in kiosk. 6) The TV mentions a mythical mobile option that will alert you when your appoint is ready. I never made that far on the self-check in. 7) Trying to ask the staff if you checked in correctly is useless. They'll ask if you used the kiosk. They will not verify you on a list. There were multiple people who thought they checked in and waited there for four hours. If you attempted to check in and your name isn't on the prompter. You didn't check in successfully. Try again. If you pass the 10 minute down to check in, you missed your appointment. Game over. Try making another appointment even though you sat there for two hours starving. Oh don't forget, you're supposed to be fasting before you get your blood drawn. Drink water only. No food. No soda. No tea. 1.18.21: A great experience at this location this morning. You will get a text sent to you to check in electronically once you arrive to this location. You can actually check in 20 minutes prior to the actual scheduled time. As you leave your car, check-in and once you get to the screener, your temperature is taken and you sit in their waiting room. I also would recommend one of their early appointments from 7 AM to 7:30 AM. I was actually taken in 15 minutes early and completed by 7:20. That was for a 7:30 AM appointment. Both the greeter as well as the technician that drew my blood were extremely friendly, professional, and put me at ease. I'm not great with needles. The location is very clean and very careful during the screening process to keep both associates and guests safe. A+ Experience. read more

When you call for an appointment, the first thing you hear is a recording that says if you're over 60 years of age, pregnant, or have other specific conditions you can come in within the first hour for VIP care without an appointment. When I arrived, the receptionist said that they only take walk ins. When I told her about the recording, she said that's an old recording and that some locations still provide weak ins. I said they didn't mention any specific location. She said that she doesn't control the recordings. The arrogance of the patient treatment is aborable. Quest may be one of the largest centers, but there communications and the people who work there are sadly to say below what patients should expect. read more

I arrived at 3:23pm on Friday. The website and phone service says they are open until 4. When I arrived a hand written note says they close at 3:30. The door was locked. I knocked and knocked and no one opened. It's very unprofessional and nota service to patients to 1) have incorrect information and 2) close before the actual time to close - whether 3:30 or 4, the doors should have been open until then. As a healthcare professional, I know that doors should not close prior to the actual closing time. I have been here before- and the lab technician themselves have been good. Thank God for Gloria at this location! I first arrived to Quest and the front door was locked. There were no patients in the waiting room for over 10 min as I waited for someone to open the door. (This was at 1:10) the RAYUS office next door suggested I opened the back door to get their attention... so I did. The man told me to go back around and as he opened the front door asked "are you sure it was locked?" I'm sure... I've been standing here tugging on the door for 15 min. As he walks to the back he tells the staff that it wasn't locked.... OK. After an hour of taking my Glucose liquid they looked a little behind. I waited an extra 20 min until finally I decided to ask another tech about my status. Gloria was so kind, went to go ask the previous tech I was with a question and replied "no worries I'll take care of her" and took me in. How fun is getting your blood taken? NO FUN AT ALL! However, when you know you have to do it, do it the right way! #1 - Make an appointment. When I walked in here this morning it was PACKED! However, they stood by all of their appointments and I was seen within 10 min of when I arrived. #2 - Drink PLENTY of water before you go, the day before and the morning of. I just learned this, helps your blood flow better. #3 - Talk to the person who is drawing the blood. The young lady I had was very quiet at first but then I engaged her and she was lovely. She was informative of what she was doing and had me out of there within 3 min with NO PAIN and NO BRUISE! WHAT? I have to admit, when I walked into this place (seems a little run down and not top notch) I was already writing the review in my head. This is the worst Quest in Metro Orlando. My noon time appointment was confirmed. I arrived early. I was told by the system it would be 17 minutes. After 45 minutes I was told it logged me in as a walk in and it would be another half hour that then changed to an hour. All the while the staff states they have no control as it's computer system driven. The place is a mess. read more

He did... so I showed up at about 10 am and the place was packed! I asked about how long a wait it would be and the receptionist said about an hour without an appointment. Luckily, I saw a few people I knew waiting there too so we started chatting... and 40 min flew by! I actually got there exactly 10 minuets late still, but checked in on their pad when I walked in and was seen almost immediately. I had a lot of blood work to get done, along with a urine sample (yay pregnancy) but everything was done really quickly and I felt really comfortable the whole time! This location is a little weird because it's literally right next to a hotel, but the hospital is like across the street, as well, so it's easy to find! read more

This was the worst blood drawing experience I've ever had. I gave very clear instructions that I need to not see the needle and I need to be told when to close my eyes. He acknowledged me and told me he was just going to check my arm so no needles. Then, he put the needle on my arm directly in my view, telling me it would sting a little as it was already entering my arm, and then blamed me when I had a panic attack, telling me "I told you it would sting. I don't say [to close your eyes] -- that's not what I say." He continued to argue at me as I was crying. When another employee entered the room and saw me upset, she asked him to go with her. She said to him, "I need to show you something." He argued again that it was my fault for asking him to say anything different than his normal words and then threw a stack of papers from the desk onto the ground as he stormed out. I haven't had an issue with panic attacks for years because I always give the same warning, including at a doctor visit just last week. Ignoring that warning was an issue specific to me but I am still in shock at the way he yelled at me for having a panic attack and threw papers on the floor like an angry child. For his behavior after the fact, I feel a duty to warn others to choose a different Quest location. read more

This place get ZERO stars. Absolute garbage of a facility. Stay far away. These "techs" are joke. Not only do they treat everyone like they are just bodies, they also have zero personality. They act like they are doing you a favor by doing their job. We went because our pediatrician said my daughter (18 months) needed to get blood work done. When we finally got our name called to go in after waiting 20 minutes with no one there, the nurse had the gall to say (without even introducing herself or saying even a simple hello) "Why is she having this much blood work done?" Excuse me, what? Who are you to ask that? Just do your job that you got hired to do in the first place! The fact that there was paperwork and it wasn't an easy test I'm sure bothered her and she couldn't justify bringing herself to do some more work. We waited over 20 minutes for her to get paperwork ready that she clearly had no clue what she was doing. Any other normal person would acknowledge of existence being in a room with someone else waiting for 20 minutes but this lab tech or whatever you call her could give a shit less. Our situation is already stressful enough dealing with getting blood work taken with our child. We don't need to be treated like this. To walk in the office and not even have anyone working the front desk and not even simple hello or how are we doing today is unacceptable especially at a medical facility! WE DID NOTHING at all to be disrespected like this. We will be filing a report to the state and make sure this place gets given another look by state health officials as this facility is inexcusable as far as even cleanliness is concerned. The room we waited in had trash cans filled with gloves and band aids with blood on them and empty needle containers in the garbage thrown in openly! Are you serious?! What if a child reaches in the trash? Do these people not think? Or even care?? There were used medical gloves on the floor next to the trash. Because, I guess someone missed the garbage can tossing it in?? But guess what? Bend over and pick it up! You are dealing with BLOOD and disease. Like this is not ok!! Add to the fact that when I said that we had another appointment and that we didn't expect to be here so long the tech didn't even acknowledge me so we just ended up leaving. Again, they don't care and are super unprofessional, it's clear they are miserable and there just for a check!! Stay far away unless you want to be treated like trash. Also the place itself is disgusting. There is hair stuck on the walls and it looks like it hasn't been professionally cleaned, ever. The white walls are yellowing over. There was also a dead roach or beetle behind the seats inside the office area. She said that people with appointments are fit in with the walk ins and the time that you are given is only an estimate, I told her that the technology was HORRIBLE! Why give a time if 25 minutes, when 50 minutes later, the time is saying 33 minutes more! I asked her how many employees were working, and she said one other person "was on lunch". This is the second time I have been to this location. They are rude and treat you as though you are a number not a person. This morning upon arrival I told the lady working the window that I needed to drop off a sample. She very rudely replied, "sign in, sit down, and give us a minute." Then 30 minutes later I was called to the window and asked to provide my doctors orders. Again, I shared that I did not have orders I was simply dropping off a sample. I was then told their system was down and they would not be able to help me. At this point I was quite upset because that information could have and SHOULD HAVE been shared when I first arrived and clearly stated why I was there. The only response I received is "well, I don't know who was working the window, but they should have told you that when you arrived. You will need to go to another location to be assisted." I did not have an appointment but I got there around 7 AM. I only waited 15 minutes until I was called back. Upon entering the room, I told the technician that I had tough veins and I had a phobia of needles. I asked if she was good with those type of patients in the hopes of getting switched if she was not. She flippantly said "I deal with all kinds of people all the time". Which did not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. She then proceeded to say "wow we have so many bottles to fill for you" which immediately made me want to throw up. I'm not sure why you would say that to someone who has a needle phobia. She proceeded to stick me in one spot, then tried to move the needle around within the vein (see photo) and then had to stick me a second time before we could get what we needed.
