Absolutely love this place. From the time I was 14, I have…read morestruggled with several different medical issues and had the same Dr through it all. Never had anything get resolved, expensive appointments despite having insurance (was cheaper to self pay), when I could manage to book one within 3 months of calling in ,and was frankly tired of every diagnosis ending with " you need to lose weight". Even when I was only 20 lbs over the "recommended" weight. I was told about this office by a relative and had noticed the improvements they had made and decided to fire my Dr. and move on to Dr. Shaaban. Within my first appointment, he already had me on different medication, set up a plan for me and got me scheduled for a follow up right away. Within the two week window to my follow up, my A1C had gone down from 10 to 7, and I had lost 10 pounds, my inflation had gone down, and I was feeling like myself again. I have been seeing them for about 6 months now and my health has never been better as an adult. Both Dr. Shaaban and RN Trihn(sp) have been nothing short of amazing. I usually only wait between 1-5 minutes once I arrive to when I am called back. Any issues I have with prescriptions/pharmacies are resolved within 24-48 hours. The entire front desk staff and nursing staff are so friendly. I hate needles and usually get very nervous when drawing blood from previous bad experiences at other locations but the two phlebotomists that have helped me have been so kind and patient. I recommend this place to anyone who likes prompt and accurate care.

This review isn't based on one bad experience, it's based on a pattern…read more I've read the office's responses to other reviews where they explain that physicians are human, schedules sometimes have to change, and that they have nurse practitioners available when a provider is unavailable. I completely understand that. Healthcare is unpredictable, and I don't expect perfection. What I do expect is communication and the same respect for my time that the office expects from its patients. Today, I took time off work, drove 30 minutes each way, spent money on gas, and arrived for my appointment only to be told it had to be rescheduled. The office told me they called once. I never spoke to anyone. I never confirmed a new appointment. One unanswered phone call is not confirmation that a patient received or accepted a need for a schedule change. There was no second phone call, no text message, no patient portal message, no email, and no real effort to ensure I actually knew my appointment needed to be changed. The office's responses to other reviews also state that nurse practitioners are available when a physician's schedule changes. That wasn't my experience. No nurse practitioner was available to see me today. In fact, I couldn't even be rescheduled with in the next month. The earliest appointment I was offered, even after telling the office I didn't care which provider I saw, was five weeks later. This isn't an isolated incident. This office has been quick to enforce its policies when I've been the one running late. I've been charged for appointments because I was late. If a patient is more than a few minutes late, the office expects them to accept the consequences. But when the office changes an appointment without confirming the patient was actually notified, the patient is expected to absorb all the inconvenience. We're human too. We have jobs, families, schedules, and financial obligations. Taking time off work costs money. Driving an hour round trip costs money. Gas isn't cheap. My time has value just like yours does. The issue isn't that schedules change. The issue is the lack of communication and the double standard. Patients are expected to respect the office's time, but the office doesn't seem to respect theirs. To make matters worse, many primary care visits simply result in referrals to specialists anyway, meaning another appointment, another copay, and even more time away from work. I would seriously consider changing providers after experiences like this. Unfortunately, in this area, that's easier said than done. The population has grown faster than the availability of primary care providers, and most practices are already at or near capacity. Switching often means long waitlists, difficulty establishing care, and starting over as a new patient. Patients shouldn't feel stuck with poor communication simply because there aren't enough providers to meet the community's needs. I hope this office recognizes that and starts treating patients' time with the same respect they expect patients to show theirs.
