Doesn't always happen if there's a line but they do provide a waiting room with complimentary beverages if waiting is necessary. The employees are sometimes a little short and not super friendly because they're going so fast through everything but they do a fantastic job at pricking you. I'm bad with needles and they make it easy and as painless as possible. If you're paying out of pocket and want to save some cash, pro tip: look up the tests online beforehand (great that they have the prices online now) and make sure they are the cheapest option. Sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't, so I go here for the cheaper tests and go elsewhere for the ones they are more expensive for. Would recommend for sure!

Make an appointment and they get you right in, but if you don't make an appointment then be prepared to wait a long time. I would definitely not recommend that option as it's really frustrating to be a walk-in. There's usually not many staff there. Came in today early in the morning and I believe her name was Sue was very cheery and nice. She helped me get all 6ish of my tests done and I was on my way in about 15 minutes. How is that faster than having the receptionist run these items through a scanner? Then, I was told that the computer couldn't read the picture of my insurance card (shock face), so they wanted me to call my insurance company on speaker in the middle of the waiting room to confirm that my insurance is active and request my copay amount. Um, I'm fairly certain that's what the "provider" telephone number on the back of the card is intended for... Why would I provide my personal and confidential information on speakerphone in the middle of the waiting room? I'm sure they're trying to streamline the process and save money, but this entire process took more than 35 minutes. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else that scanned my insurance card and had us in a room with the doctor in under 5 minutes. I will not be returning to this facility. Who needs the hassle?

Outstanding Surgeon with Exceptional Compassion…read more After a serious fall down a flight of stairs, I developed a bowel obstruction and required major abdominal surgery at Saint Anthony's Medical Center in Rockford, Illinois. Unfortunately, I had complications after the first surgery -- something that can and does happen with complex bowel cases. About ten days post-op, I knew deep down that I was not improving the way I should be. I was discouraged, exhausted, and losing hope. That all changed the morning Dr. Javeria Qureshi walked into my hospital room. From the moment she entered, she felt like a ray of hope. She took the time to review my case thoroughly, sat with me, held my hand, and reassured me that my concerns were valid. She told me plainly and compassionately that I should be feeling better -- and that she wanted to take me back to surgery to find and correct the problem. Dr. Qureshi performed exploratory surgery and did an excellent job correcting what had developed after my first operation. Her clinical judgment was spot-on, and her surgical skill made all the difference in my recovery. What sets Dr. Qureshi apart is not only that she is an excellent surgeon, but that she also has a kind, gentle bedside manner that brought me comfort during one of the hardest moments of my life. We counted 7 times where he said the doctor would have to assess and diagnose the situation before blah blah blah blah blah. We told them it was an impacted bowel and what we had done. We described the situation as a 'crowning head' ready to give birth. We wasted 3 hours going over to the facility only to find out that no, they would not be able to help us with the situation and that we needed to go to the ER. It involved an elderly man with a bowel impaction. If Only They would have answered the question as to whether or not they had the equipment and could handle such a thing in office. That's all we wanted to know. We found out when we went through this entire process with a very glitchy check-in system online that made you repeat information up to five times that no, they had no way to relieve him.
