After I sat there 20 minutes I told one of the tec's when she came out to grab another person that I had checked in via my phone. She told me to go ahead and check in again using the kiosk as they were having problems with the text check-ins. I ended up waiting over 25 minutes for my scheduled appointment. When a different tech came out to get me she proceeded to tell me that I hadn't checked in until 07:42. I told her I had checked in at 07:25 on my phone, She didn't want to hear it and pretty much told me I was wrong that I needed to look at the TV screen to see if I did check-in. This is BS, I scheduled my appt, I was there 5 minutes early, I checked in using my phone and I was treated rudely. She also said they were behind. If appts are scheduled and you can see how many people will be coming for labs you need to be prepared with adequate staff! If I didn't dislike Mercy Medical Center so much I'd get my labs done there! Oh, and I was late to work to boot!

MMC doesn't give ME the courtesy of calling me during regular business hours, and gives me the discourtesy of calling to wake me up, expecting me to be able to write down a phone number to call later. During multiple calls to MMC's Billing Office, and speaking with supervisors, I had repeatedly been promised I would get no more calls, but they're still going on. I had also repeatedly been promised I would receive a bill in the mail, but I still haven't. If I were to receive a bill, I'd gladly pay it, but what MMC is doing is HARASSMENT and it needs to STOP.

I made an appointment right then and I was in the office within 5 minutes of my scheduled time. Quick and easy! They sent me information on the bone density scan and what to do and wear the morning of my appointment. The technician was so nice and did a great job getting me in the right positions to get good scans. Everyone I worked with was nice, professional and got things done in a timely manner. The building is well marked and easy to find. Parking wasn't a problem and there is a cafe in the basement.

They told me my scans were done completely wrong and there was no way anyone would've been able to read them to determine whether or not I needed surgery. I had to get my scans redone. I was also charged for the procedure I never had done by Mercy hospital when the appointment was never confirmed! The lack of patient care and the worry that was brought upon me is completely unacceptable. Thank God for my gut feeling to take my scans elsewhere. Do not go here for any type of care.
