I had an appointment at Quest and presented a physician's lab order that included "Hepatitis B panel" along with QuantiFERON TB, Hep C, HIV, CBC, and CMP testing. I explained to staff that the labs were for biologic/immunosuppressive treatment clearance. Staff repeatedly told me there were "so many" Hepatitis B tests and that the order was not specific enough, but they did not make a meaningful effort to identify the appropriate Quest panel, offer options, or contact the ordering provider for clarification. I left without service and went to a nearby Labcorp, where the employee took about ten minutes, reviewed the order/context, and was able to identify and process the appropriate testing. My complaint is not that the order required no clarification; it is that Quest staff were rude, late (I was waiting on my scheduled appointment made the day before for 30 minutes), dismissive, and unwilling to help resolve a common lab-order ambiguity. This caused unnecessary delay and forced me to seek service elsewhere, and the contrast in service was stark. Go Labcorp. read more

The waiting room is ridiculously small. You have to check in on a console. There are no signs indicating that you check in at the console. There were over 10 people in the small waiting room I had a 10am appointment and didn't get in until 1030. Very disappointed and would never recommend them to anyone. read more

I had an existing appointment, signed in at the kiosk and within 2 minutes I was taken back. Chantel ( I dont know how to spell it, sorry) was cheerful, organized and extremely good! It is such a joy to have blood drawn from a true professional, it makes the whole process better. I had a lot of blood taken, but I was in and out in minutes. Have tried to make appointment online. Went back and forth between Quincy location (impossible to speak to a human for help) and South Weymouth location (also impossible to speak to a human). Website is terrible and useless because it keeps switching from Weymouth location to Quincy location every time I have tried to book appointment. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. Wish there was another option. WHY IS THERE NOT AN OPTION TO SPEAK TO A RECEPTIONIST??? TOO CHEAP TO HIRE A HUMAN TO ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN WEBSITE IS IMPOSSIBLE. Why is Quest Diagnostics not better at timely appointments? I have been waiting an hour and one half just for a simple blood draw. Everyone in the waiting room has made mention that it is always like this and in several locations. The corporate office needs to understand customer satisfaction as this company has just lost a "customer". It's just bad business, when the sign says 3:30 and door is locked at 3:15. Yes, it does make a difference if you wasted a trip and value your time. If the attendance time changed, so should the sign. It would show professionalism and respect to the ones that make the business possible. read more

Booked an appointment online. Received a text message to click on link upon arrival which would notify them I was there. Appointment was for December 16th 2023 at 1115 am. Arrived at 1055 am and clicked on link. No one in waiting room. Phone confirmed appointment as 1110 am and that time came on monitor in waiting room. I figured I was all set. After awhile I noticed that my 1110 appointment indication disappeared from the monitor. Others started coming in and using the kiosk and were being taken ahead of me. After about 30 minutes past my appointment time I started questioning the staff as they came to take other patients in. I was told they would check. Finally a black girl, name not known comes out and I asked her the same question. She told me I would just have to wait and nothing more. I became upset and wanted an answer and she told me to leave, which I did. I needed my test today specifically and now I am in some trouble. We have had trouble here in the past as well. I'VE GONE TO THIS LAB BEFORE AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM BUT THE LAST FEW TIMES I HAVE GONE THEY COULD NOT FIND A SCRIPT FROM MY MD ( there was one time when another secretary helped the one who couldn't find it retrieve it from the system) Yesterday they could not find the script again--I called my MD who said he faxed it (to the right fax #) so now I'll go to MGH where I worked for 23 yrs as I know they can find me in the system (I live in weymouth am retired so can't depend on this lab (is this under BWH? I worked there as well, great hospital, ?what happened here?) this only makes things more stressful in this difficult time we're in) read more

A drug testing center so close to Brockton must do brisk business. Must have just moved from the previous Pleasant Street location as signage was non-existent outside and minimal inside. Nevertheless, these guys had same-day availability for a pre-employment drug screen when its Boston and Brookline locations didn't. Clean facility, cheerful staff, minimal riff-raff among customers. Walk-ins were accepted, but my appointment allowed me to skip to the head of the queue. read more
