I just have to share how wonderful my experience was here on October 18. My child has Down syndrome, deep vein issues, and sensory sensitivities, so blood draws are usually a total nightmare anywhere outside of the doctor's office. But this time, everything went smoothly thanks to two amazing staff members -- Veronica and Marie. They treated my child with patience, empathy, and so much kindness. They took their time explaining what was happening, used such a gentle approach, and somehow made my child feel calm and safe the entire time. What's normally one of our hardest days turned into one of our easiest, and that meant the world to me as a mom. You can tell this office hires people who truly care about their patients. Veronica and Marie went above and beyond, and I couldn't let any more time pass without publicly thanking them. If every healthcare experience was like this, families like mine would breathe a little easier. Thank you again for making a tough situation feel effortless. Recently was sent to Quest Diagnostics for some lab work. Have to say this location is extremely modern. They don't have a receptionist. Instead, you check in via your phone or the kiosk they have up front. Depending on whether you have an appointment or not, they either write you down on the screen per your first name and initial of your last name or they give you a number. I say this as I had to go two days in a row. That said, not a long wait. In and out either way, but I went in the morning. Recommend going then. Other than that, be aware they have free parking and that it's cold inside. Heavily suggest taking a sweater with you. read more

They texted ahead with a link to check in that serves as a reminder. Once there, easy check in with an iPad. An organized and friendly staffer greeted the entire lobby when she came out for a customer. TV in lobby was broken, missed that ambiance. Appointments are easy to make in their app and I was able to get in in a reasonable amount of time. I have previously experienced a 2 hour wait time but they were so mobbed that it seems unfair to criticize. Hard to hire staff for slow and busy times. All in all good service, experienced phlebotomists that know how to stick you. read more

The fact that Tallahassee only has two Quest locations open to the public is a such a gross healthcare miscarriage. NO ONE should have to wait for 2 HOURS in a waiting room PACKED with 30+ people at a time. I sat next to an individual who coughed the entire time and now three days later, I have whatever he had-- all because the room was packed with no open seats. I've never seen anything this ridiculous and I've lived in SEVERAL different cities across this state. It's RIDICULOUS that you have to take a whole sick day to get bloodwork done because you'll be tied up for hours, waiting in a packed waiting room. DO BETTER. read more

Despite signs stating masks are required, I was the only person in the crowded waiting room with a mask on, except the employee sitting there telling people to check in at the computer kiosk. The place is full of naked faces coughing and hacking. I had an appointment and arrived at the requested 10 minutes prior window... As is the time of my writing this, my appointment was 15 minutes ago, and I have been sitting here for 25. I'm an immunocompromised person who's being forced to marinate in this disgusting environment. These people are irresponsible, at best. read more

The people working there are kind enough, but the minute you leave, you have NO IDEA what's going on with your blood work. If you happen to finally get a human being, they repeat what the app tells you. Was told blood work takes 7-12 BUSINESS DAYS. Absolutely ridiculous. A person could have walked an igloo from Tallahassee to Orlando and had the lab spin it in that time. No excuse. I'll update you and let's see how many weeks they play around. read more

Unfortunately, this center cannot handle the number of patients that rely on it. Quest either needs to open more locations in Tallahassee or hire more phlebotomists. When I arrived for my 8:40 appointment, they were already running an hour behind, and informed us that anyone trying to walk in would not be able to be seen today. Every seat in the waiting room was occupied. The staff try their best, but they are set up for failure with the number of people that need their blood work done here. You MUST make an appointment and bring a book or something to do while you wait. read more

Horrible! I found about 39 people in the waiting room and many were there for fasting labs. This was my second attempt to get my lab work done there. I tried to check in on my phone, then I stood in line for about 40 minutes to talk to the one person working the desk. I am severely disabled and this was obvious to anyone looking (like the clerk at the desk). She proceeded to tell me "you are ten minutes late and we cannot do your labs today". I said I have been here trying to get checked on my cell phone. She cocked her head to the side, and repeated her first comment. I left and I will never go back. We were all like cattle in there, they could take an hour or two to get to any one of us, but if the computer says you are ten minutes late, well goodbye. There are plenty of other places in town and no one should put up with this place. read more

The quality of care was outstanding. My phlebotomist was very nice. However, the bathroom was disgusting. I thought I was going to have to get a plan B for my urinalysis! No soap! No paper towels! Urine on the floor! I had to use the drug testing bathroom. It, of course, had no trash can. The unsanitary conditions were unnerving. They must not have custodial help. What a shame! read more

I needed a last minute UDS for school. It's something we have to obtain on our own. I booked the order and the closest location was over an hour away, for this test it indicated no appointments were needed and did not give me a. Option to make one. I arrived 15 minutes before closing. There were a few people in the waiting area, all of who had appointments. I was told immediately they couldn't take me. I stated I had just drove over an hour and my test didn't need an appointment. The lady took my paperwork and still refused me. As I walked out the door I heard it click locked behind me. I'm unable to change this location to one closer to me for a different location. read more

Everyone was really nice and patient. I had a billing issue that the phlebotomist told me how to resolve. It did take about 30 minutes on the phone to resolve it. The person on the phone was very nice. It seemed unorganized at first because they don't have someone at the front desk. You just have to be prepared with your name, DOB, and phone number to register on one of the tablets. There was an older woman who couldn't figure out how to do it. The staff got her in anyhow. read more

When the Doc orders labs, this is where I go. Before I knew online appointments were available, I would arrive super early, when they opened, in hopes of getting through the line quickly. Life around lab work day wasn't very fun. I have since learned that life, lab work, and my goals of quickly ending the mandated fast improves when making an appointment! Going online, selecting the day/time you want from the list of available appointments, is quite easy. The staff has told me more than once that they appreciated my decision to make the appointment. While the decor doesn't appear to have been updated since the Reagan years, the staff always manages to crack and smile and make small talk with me as they handle my paperwork. Life just gets easier for everyone when we plan ahead. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. The last two times my mother has gone she has been told it would be a 2 to 3 hour wait for her appointment. This is of grave concern when you have patients waiting who are diabetic or have other medical conditions that fasting can be difficult for. Not to mention who is going to cancel and entire day for a 15 min blood draw. This is the norm. I took my daughter to this location (she is 2) for STAT Bloodwork ordered by her doctor for a possible MIS-C infection from a post COVID infection. We were trying to do all of the testing without going to the hospital. The staff threw the paper back at me and told me impossible. I was told by my doctor it was all possible who called them and had a lovely firm conversation about their ordering system and what was an actual available test not what they wanted to do. My daughter extremely sick sitting in a stroller waiting for the bloodwork (negative for C and Flu) was basically a hassle to the staff. Come to find out it was because they didn't know how to draw bloodwork on a child. This became clear after stick #3 and them mixing blood from various vials in front of me to try to get enough. Then they did not even run one test. They also did not run them STAT as ordered and took close to 3 days of my doctor hounding for them to say oh the lab is slow and then for the lab to say they didn't get the blood for 2 days. If I had another option I would take it but I don't. I've called and complained now multiple times to corporate. I myself have permanent damage to one arm and bruising (veins show oddly looks like massive bruise for months) due to one of their phlebotomist blowing my vein and then pulling the needle putting no pressure and not putting a bandaid on tight so I looked down and was bleeding everywhere. This needs to stop. The clinic needs to be held accountable for the lack of professionalism and care for their patients. read more

They've improved their procedures. I was able to make an appointment on their web site. I signed in on one of two tablets in the lobby so didn't have to wait on line for a person to appear. The phlebotomist was patient and kind. She walked a long distance to get me cold water rather than room temp water. I have stingy veins and in addition I was dehydrated. She used a small needle and was gentle in probing to prevent pain. Other staff members were attentive and kind. I hate giving blood, but this is the place I would like to go to do it. read more

This is the worst Quest I have ever been to, and I get blood work done a lot. I made an appointment for 1:40pm and arrived 10 minutes before. By 2:40pm my name had still not been called. I wanted to speak to a person but they only have kiosks no real people, so I had to wait for them to call someone then chase after the worker to ask. The lady told me they are just short staffed and I should keep waiting, so I did. After an hour and a half had passed since my scheduled appointment time, I asked another worker. She rudely said they had already called my name twice. Funny because I was sitting there the entire time and have functioning ears... but ok. Then they finally call me back and say they don't have the order from my doctor. I said okay I have it in my email, but she informed me it needed to be printed and she couldn't help. No where on their website does it say I need to bring a printed document, and I have never had to do that before. Do you guys not have a printer?? Terrible service. Plus I have mono and bronchitis, so this made everything even worse. I will never return to this location again. Do not go here! read more

Time for another drug screen required by my employer. As I mentioned in my previous review of Arcpoint of Tallahassee, there was no way I was going back to that dump. Fortunately, my employer changed lab providers to Quest Diagnostics, and I didn't have to follow through on my threat to resign. I'd never been to a Quest Diagnostics before, but many of my acquaintances have always had some kind of complaint about them, so I was prepared for a bad experience. I was pleasantly surprised. I made an online appointment and arrived 15 minutes early. Check-in was automated on a tablet which took less than 30 seconds by simply entering my confirmation number. The waiting room definitely had a very clinical feel, especially since there was no human receptionist welcoming you. However, that was really the only negative observation I had about my entire visit. But, unlike Arcpoint, the waiting room was clean and didn't smell like a pub restroom at 2:00 AM. I was called 5 minutes after my appointment time. You deposit all your belongings in a lock box and keep the key with you. (This was a huge difference over Arcpoint, where you simply place your belongings in the technician's unlocked desk.) The technician gives you a few instructions and lets you get to work. While my technician waited outside the door for me to finish producing the specimen, she never harassed me through the door like at Arcpoint. When I was done, the technician finished up the paperwork, and I retrieved my belongings from the lockbox. I was out the door 15 minutes after my name was called. My entire interaction with the technician was pleasant. She had a great attitude, was always smiling, and was patient with me when I asked stupid questions. I'll have no objection returning to this Quest Diagnostics location for my next drug screen. read more

Made a same day appointment for some lab work. Inside the waiting room everything is spaced out and they have multiple checkin stations. Multiple hand sanitizer at all tables. The place was clean and all the staff had on masks and face shields. Staff was very helpful, courteous and professional. They explained everything that was being done. When I was done they were sanitizing the chair I had been in. Felt very safe and comfortable going there. Will use them again for any other lab work I have to get done. read more

Wow -- Waited over two hours and had to leave without blood tests because I couldn't wait any longer. I have never been or seen others treated so rudely. The technician is absolutely horrible --beyond rude --and then yells "Have a Blessed Day" as people leave. If you have a couple hours to waste and want to be treated poorly go here. ---I will pay to avoid this place in the future. I have never witnessed such unprofessional treatment before. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! Arrived and checked in at iPAD. No one working at desk. After an hour an a half, I grabbed the technician and she said that if I didn't have the confirmation number that was emailed to me, I could not be served. The notification says that it will speed check-in but not that you must have it --and I didn't bring it. The technician was horribly rude. The place is completely disorganized. If you want to be treated horribly, spend hours waiting, and leave without you blood tests being done, go here. My doctor has to find a better option than Quest. Absolutely unbelievable. I have never been treated this horrible in my almost 60 years. I know it is hard to find staff but this is ridiculous. DO NOT GO HERE. HORRIBLE. read more

This place is one of the worst run companies I have had the unfortunate experience to deal with. They gave my wife a barf bag to poop into to get the stool sample. Then they gave us the wrong container for the stool sample. Then to top it off they don't answer the phones. Most unprofessional place I have ever seen. read more

went to QuestDiagnostics this morning for labs. I didn't know you could make an appointment but you can still sign in at the kiosk inside. I signed in at 6:30. it asked me if I had an appointment and I said no and continued and it told me I would be called for the lab draw at 7:10. 7:10 came and went and several patients that checked in after me were being called back. when one of the employees came out to call another patient I explained to her that although I didn't have an appointment when I checked in using the kiosk it gave me an appointment time of 7:10. She told me appointments would always be calls back first meaning no matter what time the kiosk told me all appointments would go ahead of me. so I would basically sit there all day and never be seen. they should have a sign posted and have it on there website that they don't except walk-ins. Wasted morning and the employee was rude. read more

The lady at the front window passing by still smiled at me even though I did not need to any assistance. I had to come here recently for the most unpleasant of labs that pregnant women are subject to. It's awful: the glucose resistance test. First you have to drink a bottle of this disgustingly sweet glucose poison, then you wait an hour, then you have 6 vials of blood drawn (see I'm not just excessively whiny, this is truly a nightmare). Other than making the appointment (which was kind of a pain in the butt because it's entirely automated and there's no option to speak to a person which is the only reason I'm deducting a star) the whole process was very smooth. Bloody but smooth. I arrived, signed in and was called in immediately. The staff was not only efficient and professional but they were extremely kind and comforting as well. When the time came, the staff member who drew my blood was really gentle and empathetic about how bad it sucked to sit there and have about 25 ML of blood drawn. The place itself is clean and while I hope I never have to go back, I'm comforted knowing that if I need to go it won't be the worst. read more

I wanted to give no stars. I went in today for a pre-employment urine drug screen and the employee who helped me name Daisy was the rudest and unpleasant and unprofessional person ever. I have been to this location several times and have always had great experiences, but today the wicked witch of Tallahassee was present. She refused to call me by name after I informed of my name. She wore the same gloves for three different drug screens which was very unsanitary and she refused to listen when I tried to explain to her that I needed to take two different screenings. Please fire this awful employee she is very bad for businesss. I had to go ask someone else to help me complete my second screening and Daisy purposely threw my original paperwork away making it challenging for the other employee to help me. The second person who assisted me did in fact make sure that my screening was completed correctly and was sanitary when collecting my urine. I will be informing corporate of Daisy's poor actions and unsanitary work ethic. Please give Daisy a pink slip and send her home for good. No one deserves that rude, unprofessional, unsanitary, problematic, degrading service. Its just simply bad for buisness and uncalled for! read more
