I went to Labcorp and they were not kind nor helpful. Plus the lady wanted me to get the work done even though she couldn't tell me if they accept my insurance so i walked out. Sure am glad i found Physicians Stat lab on Water St. The receptionist was very helpful, told me they took Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance and did my paper work for me. The other places they want you to do all that yourself, thus eliminating someone's job. Well the waiting room was full so I expected a long wait but she called my name in ten minutes, she took my blood and urine sample and out the door i went. I really like this place and i hope you have the fast, courteous service i got.

Form the moment we walked in we were greeted with a positive and warm hello. the 2 women working were so friendly and all smiles. When it was time to go back the tech was comforting and caring to him as he was nervous and so was I. She talked him through the whole process and within minutes he was done. She was very quick and accurate in her work. Again I could not have asked for a better place. The front desk receptionist was also amazing and great at what she does. There was a line of people in her waiting area and she never once seemed frustrated or unpleasant. We were self pay as my son does not have insurance because it would be close to $400 p/m to add him on mine. They offer extremely reasonable pricing for their tests and Wednesdays are HALF PRICE!! I wish they accepted my work insurance, Cigna, because I would gladly go here over Quest Labs any day for my blood work. A HUGE THANK YOU to the ladies at PSL on Water St in New Port Richey! I called that week on Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday to receive my mom's office notes to give to the nurses where she lives (it's required)--the receptionist told me every single day that the notes were not available as of yet?? What - then on Friday she stated that the doctor was out of the office for the July 4th weekend? REALLY? I followed up on the next Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday and still they were NOT ready? REALLY? So, mom called and the receptionist stated that she needed something for her facility that day.....The receptionist stated that she could send over the xray but she had NO OFFICE NOTES AS OF YET? We scheduled an appointment, and were able to complete the registration paperwork online. The staff were very caring, professional, and polite. We saw an amazing nurse practitioner named Brittany. St Joseph's Hospital North Imaging Service in main hospital…read more We got it done---eventually! First off my bank wasn't processing credit card payments this morning---"so we'll bill you." Done. When taking blood sample...needle blew out---made a white towel red! "Kidney blood check just fine," After taking two CT scans without contrast....as tech initiated contrast to enter----it blew out the IV connection---cold contrast everywhere! Freaked me out! But tech simple cleaned up mess and tightened connection...and the cold then hot contrast was injected and "CT scan finished." St Joe's CD burner wasn't working---so the tech called the out patient imaging on Van Dyke and I "picked up my burned cd in the morning." So.....a few snafus-----but all dealt with and handled with care, compassion, and professionalism. The tech and I had a few giggles dealing with so many bumps in the process! But this is an annual CT scan soo I know them all well. And CHOOSE to continue my treatments there. I heartily recommend these "health pros" and trust them with my care---and my life!

This Dr diaz is a joke he told my dad he had seven months to live then said he told him seven…read moremonths with treatment which is never what he told anyone. Then says he doesn't recommend treatment. The worst part is my dad ask for a referral to one of the top cancer centers in Florida dr diaz denied the referral because he doesn't like Moffitt. His receptionist are liars told me that moffitt didn't take my dad's insurance another lie I guess lying to keep their jobs. Ugh then tried to get another referral was told Dr diaz said my dad wanted hospice instead none of this was true. This Dr sent hospice and priests out to my dad's while refusing to give referrals for second opinion. I'd like to know what kind of Dr won't try help a patient possibly love longer? So all the stress anxiety lies to our family I believe this Dr is covering something up not to mention his lying staff so we have a lawyer already that took his case and thank God we found a better Dr for him to see and get a referral. He just gave me dad pills knowing what he's going through after possible diagnosis of gbm. Him and his staff will be sued not to mention the pain and suffering he's put everyone through and didn't bother to even try to help my 72 year old dad.
