If only zero stars could be provided. I normally go to LabCorp, but when they were booked up - I was forced to try out Quest for some urgently needed bloodwork. Worst mistake of the year.
If I'm unable to print my order prior to the appt at LabCorp, they print it on my behalf. Not here, but okay - my bad for assuming and my dr was thankfully able to quickly fax it over. The tech reading the order missed the fact that it read 'STAT RESULTS NEEDED' and said it would be 3-4 days for results to come through - thank god I asked and was able to point out the big bold STAT heading. She then said that results would be anywhere from this afternoon to tomorrow morning, so I again had to point out that the form clearly noted results were needed before 2pm...but no, she says it's all dependent on when the driver comes to pick up all the samples (another tech ended up saying - a half hour later - that he would call the driver to come asap so the results would be provided in time).
After sitting in the room with the first tech for over ten minutes, I was told they couldn't do anything for me because the order form didn't note my drs office address. I explained that they have locations throughout the country and couldn't list them all on the form - but that I could give them the address of the location I go to (done every time at LabCorp with no issue), but nope, I'm not trusted to provide the address and neither is the drs website, they need a business card. ...who carries their drs business card in 2022??
Back on the phone I go to my drs office. The drs rep noted that they have an account with Quest and have never had these issues with any other Quest location. She's unable to send over a business card because it's the weekend and she's working from home, but noted she could send over official letterhead with the address listed. In the meantime, I'm sent back to waiting room to sit for another 15+ minutes.
Came in at 8:20 for an 8:30 appt and walked out the doors at 9:11. If you'd like to spend almost an hour of your day for what should be a 5-minute blood draw and walk away wondering if your results will be processed correctly or not, this is the place for you!
Edited to note: blood was drawn Saturday morning and techs confirmed results would be provided by 2pm that day as NEEDED...had to call the following Monday morning because both results *still* weren't received by my doctor. read more
