    Lobster roll

So disappointed. This is a review for the Reds Kitchen food truck. By 6:00pm they only had 2 items left on the menu. $18.00 for a Lobster Roll and $9.00 for Mac and Cheese. Ordered the Lobster Roll apparently they were also out of buns as it came on a single slice of bread folded over and a bag of chips. No where near worth 18.00 and if they had told me they were out of buns I would have passed. Never again!

It can get a little loud because they get busy and everyone is having a great time. The space is very modern and stylized.

The food was okay overall, but the quality and service were very disappointing…read more Some of the beef was extremely tough, with too much connective tissue and tendon. The beef ribs were mostly fat and still very tough to chew. The chicken was woody breast, making it dry and very difficult to eat. The rice was even worse. They replaced it three times. The first two batches were hard, and the third batch was actually undercooked. The service was by far the biggest disappointment. Even though ordering is done on an iPad, they still kept forgetting items. We had to remind the staff multiple times before the food finally arrived. Every dish took 10-15 minutes or longer to arrive, yet customers are expected to finish their meal within a 90-minute time limit. This is a Japanese BBQ restaurant where the staff is simply bringing out raw meat for customers to grill at the table. There is really no reason it should take 10-15 minutes to deliver each order. To make it even more frustrating, the restaurant wasn't even busy. During our entire meal, there were only two or three other tables occupied, so it's hard to understand why the service was so slow and disorganized. To make matters worse, an 18% service charge was automatically added to the bill. I don't mind paying a service charge for good service, but charging that much when the service is this slow and disappointing feels completely unjustified. Our bill was over $210 for three people, and that didn't even include any drinks. At that price, there are many better Japanese BBQ options available. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend this place.

I really wanted to enjoy this meal, but unfortunately most of our order missed the mark…read more Both the Szechuan chicken and the sesame chicken were inedible for us. The texture was extremely mushy, with the chicken having more of a tofu-like consistency than actual chicken. It wasn't just a preference issue. It was genuinely off-putting and made it hard to continue eating. The hibachi mixed vegetables were also disappointing. They tasted like mostly raw vegetables with seasoning added at the last minute, without any real cooked texture throughout. None of the vegetables felt properly prepared, which was surprising. The hot and sour soup and crab rangoon were edible, but not memorable, and not items I would order again. The one standout from the entire meal was the scallion pancake. That dish was excellent. Crispy, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. A solid 10 out of 10. Overall, though, the quality issues with the main dishes outweigh the single highlight. Even as good as the scallion pancake was, it's not enough to make me willing to try again. The texture and quality of the chicken dishes were too hard to overlook. I hope this feedback is helpful, as there's clearly potential here, but this experience was a very disappointing one for us.

I can't believe this place is literally around the corner from my house and I *just* discovered…read moreit--thank you, DoorDash, for the assist. Since we ordered in, I can't speak to the service or ambience, but what I *can* say is: this spot delivered (literally and figuratively). My family and I are sushi lovers through and through, and this place had a pretty solid spread. We went a little wild with the order--two steak hibachi meals, hibachi noodles, California roll, spicy tuna, Samurai roll, and two bubble teas because, obviously. Let's start with the hibachi: the portions were generous and everything was packaged super well. My steak was overcooked but still tasty enough for me to enjoy. My husband, however, wasn't having it--his was a bit too chewy, and he ended up bailing on the rest of the meal. The noodles, though? Perfect. I mean, let's be real--you can't really mess up hibachi noodles. The sushi was where this place really shined. The fish tasted fresh, and every roll hit the spot. Only (tiny) letdown was the spicy tuna not being quite as spicy as I hoped--but it still had great flavor, so I'm not mad. And the bubble tea? *Chef's kiss.* We got one taro milk tea and one passion fruit tea, and I'm already planning my next passion fruit fix. So refreshing and full of flavor. Overall, not a perfect meal, but a pretty great find that I'll definitely be ordering from again.
