Hubby & I were headed down to Tampa on a road trip about a year ago when we first stopped in here & saw the beachy inventory with the seashell wind chimes. Hubby bought moi one of the seashell wind chime to go in my garden. It's been hanging outside all year long, it has a great sound & is doing great. Since I arrived late, or very early in the morning, the place was lit up. I would not walk away from the travel center at this time of day cause only darkness is near. They have some fried foods here that you should get during regular business or risk warmed over old food. The chicken however, was not bad at all. I went to the restroom which seemed fairly clean and did not stink. They only had one hand dryer but no paper towels. The customer service associates did not look as if they wanted to be there. They were slow and cold. No personable skills, which goes against the traditional Southern hospitality. Overall however, this is an alright place for a ten hour break, to fuel and get out for a minute, or to grab a quick snack for the road.
