Worst customer service I've ever experienced. The young people working there are rude and I've never seen one smile in that store.

I was from out of town and pulled in to get fuel. I was greeted by Stephen who pumped my fuel for me. It's a right to work state I think or Quick Chek does this. I am disabled so I asked Stephen if he could run in and grab me a bag of ice. He was happy to. Nice staff. Good job Stephen! read more

The workers here are not very nice, mostly the lady thats always at the register. Today I go in there to get some stuff and noticed one of the workers out in front of the store smoking so I assumed she was on a break. I ordered something from the deli, and was waiting and waiting, so I was just about to say something and I see the woman that was outside smoking (not on a break) come in and go to the deli section where she proceeds to make my order, that's fine butSHE DIDNT EVEN WASH HER HANDS after coming in from smoking!! Im sorry but that is disgusting!! I will be calling corporate on Donna who doesn't feel it's necessary to wash her hands after coming in from outside...........and during a PANDEMIC!! read more

I have never been a fan of this quick check but after my son's tball game we went in to get food. My husband is a pretty recognizable guy and there was a previous issue with this store. Because of said issue, my husband is now a target. I understand that masks are needed in this store, which we were all wearing. Karl behind the food counter kept telling my husband to pull his mask up, which he did. My husband has a beard and when he talks, the mask moves. So, that was annoying that Karl kept repeating the same remark. Whatever, we move on from it. What really pissed me off was the snarky remark he made as we were leaving. What kind of professionalism is that to make a rude remark as we were leaving! I will never set foot in this trash of a quick check again. At this point I would just be walking in to be harassed. I work all day. No real time to cook. Especially today. Crazy day. Why is it that I can go to the Sparta store, at any time of the week...7am...3am...it doesn't matter, because I know for a fact that their sandwiches are going to be great...every...single...time. Unfortunately I was in Newton running around. No breakfast. No lunch. It was my foolish mistake to think I would get the same quality food that I get in Sparta. But I just figured they've gotta be the same. NOPE. -_-. Opened up the desired food. And the fucking things falls all apart. Wasn't the right bread. No oil or vinegar. Barely any mayo. Dry. Cheapest gas in the area but decide what your time is worth because it may be the slowest service on the planet!!!!!!

I've been to many Quick Chek's all over the area, and this is by far the worst one I've been to. There are always long lines, the food takes forever to be made and they NEVER and i mean NEVER have any slushie machines working. Half the time the soda machines are broken too. One time I came here at 6:30am before work, and I ordered a bagel, just a plain bagel with some butter. Not a hard thing to mess up. I paid for my bagel and waited, and waited, and waited, and still nothing. The guy who was supposed to be making my bagel, was just standing around, like as if he had nothing to do. After waiting at least 10 minutes for a bagel, I asked him if he was making it, and he had no idea he even had to make one! Then he started it. It took them 15 minutes at least for me to walk out of there with my breakfast and I was almost late to work. Ever since that experience, I've gone elsewhere for my breakfast and refuse to come here. read more
