All the things I loved: -SO much seating, both inside and out, but especially inside. -Free and fast wifi. -The friendliest team. The greeted me and everyone else that walked in with a smile and a sweet welcome. They even asked if they could give my dog a pup cup. Which brings me to my next point... -Pup friendly! I asked before walking in with him if that was okay and was met with a very big yes. So they are dog lovers in there. -Great coffee. My hot oat milk latte refueled me. And I love that it was served piping hot. A great cafe that I would return to if I ever found myself in the area.

It was cloudy, humid, and about 85 degrees, so I wandered into Bad Ass Coffee looking for something cold. Before I could even look at the menu, I was greeted with an enthusiastic "Aloha!" by the cashier, which immediately set the tone. I ordered the Turtle Kick Koffee Kooler. It leaned a little more icy than creamy, but the caramel and chocolate flavors made it a fun summer drink without being overwhelmingly sweet. The biggest surprise? The dessert case. Everything looked ridiculously good, and I spent way too long debating whether to add something. I resisted this time, but I'll definitely be back to fix that mistake. Four stars. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and exactly the kind of place I'll keep in mind whenever a frozen coffee craving hits.

We ordered a Diet Coke, Water, French onion soup $9 and a Fig and Pear Pizza $18. My BF enjoyed the French onion soup $9. We shared the Fig and Pear Pizza. The pizza was personal size and delicious. It's under the category of Appetizers. It had Mozzarella cheese, blue cheese, pear, fig, spinach, cauliflower crust, honey & balsamic glaze. It was more than enough for two people. Service was good. The Thirsty Turtle has indoor and outdoor seating. The bathroom was clean. In addition, it has a very large parking lot. The restaurant doesn't face the street. It's located way in the back of a strip mall. I would come back!

And I was so happy I had my family to try it this time. The place itself was so loud we could hardly hold a conversation let along understand the server. Had to ask for a refill every time and she never asked us how anything was...which I will get to next. While the food looked good visually, the wings were extremely dry. It used to have a cola glaze, but these just had some seasoning. The nachos were just ok. The Cuban pressed panini was not pressed...just a roll. The side of rice was over cooked and bland. And the kids pasta meals were not good. They barely had two bites. The only thing they ate was the ice cream, which we had to remind the server about. Overall, I am so disappointed. I honestly can't say I would ever come back. Very sad.

My son and I went out for breakfast over the weekend at Paris Baguette in Livingston, New Jersey. We walked into the pastry shop and were surprised by a large assortment of pastries under glass both sweet and savory. I usually like to constrain myself to one pastry and a cup of coffee but not this time. I ordered the "Very Berry Pastry $4.09, Raspberry Almond Croissant $5.49 and a Ganache Chocolate Bombolon $3.59". Every thing is made fresh in the bakery while the bakers are visible behind a glass wall. All the items I purchased were fresh and delicious. My son ordered the Pain Suisse $4.25 and we both had a cup of the LavAzza coffee $7.49 per/cup. There are three sizes to choose from. This is a sit and sip place or a grab n go. This was a Saturday morning so we sipped and sat. I don't have many Saturdays to sip and sit so it was extra special. If you can use the free WiFi to do work, the password is ilovecake.
