This might be the most rude group of people I've ever had to deal with at a coffee shop. I've gone…read morein there for three straight days, buying a cuppa coffee, something to eat, and as I went up to the counter to get a refill, always asked towards a charge for the refill. Answer was no great. On the fourth day went in same sequence ordered coffee paid for food and then went to get a refill. Coffee was told that would be $3.75 cost of a new cup of coffee which took me my surprise of course I love people know that I've been there for three straight days and it was never the policy, and they literally started laughing at me looking at one another, not looking at me insane. I think I got lucky literally insulting me to my face and behind my face. Never offering any type of explanation or anything of the sort test literally laughing at me. So if you want to be laughed at if you want to be insulted, if you want to make an explanation about how the rules changed this is the place to go how ignorant some people should not be in the Service business, and everyone behind the counter should not be in the surface business

In turn, it's nice to support those places. The two gentlemen working there were wonderful. One of them opened the door for me and they greeted me with smiles. That's always a win in my books. There was so much to choose from. They have soooo many empanadas and, if that's not your thing, they have other baked goods. I opted for a Ham & Cheese Empanada for my non-foodventurous Mom and I got the Libreta for me. Libreta because with all the layers, it was reminiscent of a book. Also picked up an iced decaf Americano. I appreciated that the gentleman repeated my order to make sure we were on the same page. Everything was DELICIOUS!! My Mom (who eats like a bird) finished her empanada straight away and couldn't say enough about how good it was! The place was cozy, beautifully decorated, and so welcoming! No pay increase and as we all know inflation is at an all time high.
