Well...pretty hard to give a long, comprehensive review. My wife needed to have her car smogged, we found Quick Smog Check through yelp!, but we'd seen it before. We arrived at 4:15 and were on the road by 4:30 with certificate in hand. Owner/operator is friendly and efficient, the shop is clean and uncluttered and he has all the specialized equipment needed for the DMV. I'd definitely recommend them. read more

This review is overdue , last time I did not pass smog check because of a battery change , John let me redo the smog probably 3 x without extra charge , an engine light came on and he help me to reset without extra charge . Brought my car in on 8/2/23 at 2pm. I pulled up behind the car in the driveway, then had to pull back out to wait along the curb behind another car. I asked how long it would be. He said 5 minutes for the car in the bay, 10 minutes for the car in front and your after that. I'm like, yeah, right! So I only have to wait 15 minutes. LOL! Start the stopwatch. I only waited 8 minutes to get my car in the bay and only 6 minutes for the smog. I didn't even get to send out an email to my boss! Don't go to Lowe's cuz these guys are hella fast! Fast, friendly, and price is on par with others in the area. The only thing that bothers me is that these smog testing places don't actually test particulates anymore. They hook up to the car's computer and if ever checks out, you're good. But if you have an engine light on, it is an automatic failure regardless of whether the car is actually throwing out unlawful levels of particulates. This is a BIG problem since California requires "smog checks" every other year. My car runs fine but won't pass smog because it has an airbag light on - which I cannot fix because the airbag is not even made anymore. Result- I cannot register my car. read more

We came in with one car to get smog (we have two and both had needed smog...thanks California government...not), when we came here the first time a month or so ago it wasn't Star Certified, whatever that is, but the guy said he couldn't do the smog and referred us across town to the other location. However now, they have the Star Certification so if you need this to be done at a Star Certified location look no further. I should have preferenced this by saying I called a couple of places that had good reviews on Yelp but when I was on the phone they sounded shady or just plain rude, not going to give them any glory here just a good review for this location. You can't miss it, located at the corner of Bouquet Canyon and Newhall Ranch (next to a car wash). We pulled up, and if five minutes or less we were out the door. There is a coupon on the website (at this time for $35 for a smog, but certain vehicles don't apply) then you have to pay two other fees required, but total out the door is $45. Quick and friendly these guys know what they are doing. read more

This place is a scam my daughter brought her boyfriend old car here to get a smog check, they never did a smog test and said that they needed to change the catalyst converter which would cost over $700, they never did er did a smog check to see if it passed and also never told us about the Bureau of Automotive Referee Program which could give us an exemption. I would never trust them again. They are crooks. read more

We had to register both vehicles that were from out of state. And I had four kids with me all under the age of 8 with the youngest being one year old.
