Brought my truck into Crista Car Wash for the first time. Big mistake wasted my time and money. After it was washed I walked by it and there were bugs still on the front grill.... I pointed it out to the employee and asked him if he could re-wash it. He then proceeded to take a sponge and grind the bugs into the paint. After he said he was done with it I walked around the truck and it was still completely dirty. They didn't clean the running boards, the cup holders are dirty, the entire truck still needs a wash. I asked for the manager where he proceeded to tell me it looks fine. My advice don't go here. They also charge $5 extra for trucks. Service was rude and the quality is horrendous. read more

My last two car washes were terrible but as a loyal customer of 20 years I gave them one last shot. I explained to the guy who gives you the tickets that my last two were bad he could care less! But the real reason for the 1 star is because one of the workers took all the quarters out of my cup holder. I know this because I had just thrown a few in just this morning and now I have Pennie's and a couple nickels. There was maybe $4 in my cup holder. , but that's not the point. Honestly, this was by far THE ABSOLUTE WORST hand car wash I've ever gotten. I usually check my car out to see if there's anything they may have missed and I kindly pointed some minor things out but The workers were so rude and not accommodating. I literally was blowing off some dust and in some areas of my car and he was just watching me. Threw the receipt at me and told me to go back around. Like SIR, this is YOUR job. Anyways, took my 70 year old dad to get his car washed as well and they also did not vacuum the inside of his car, WHICH WE PAID FOR. He too was kindly asking them to vacuum the spots he found and they aggressively drove off to do so. My mats were not clean, they did not clean it through. They just dusted it off. Horrible. I brought my sisters car, an suv so theres an up charge for the size of the vehicle, totally fine with me She's a mom and the car needed some love, or the bare minimum, vacuum and a wipe down I sat and waited outside as you do until I was called to take the car I watched the person who did the finishing details open the trunk, wipe down the interior and shut it. I didn't think anything of it When I got into the drivers seat I noticed there were some crumbs and little things leftover. It's a mom car so I totally get that they did what they could But then I opened the trunk when I got home and it looks like they didn't even attempt to vacuum the back seats and the trunk I paid the going price, plus a tip and I should have checked before I left but I have been coming here with my own car for years and I trusted that it would get done. It was supposed to be a small gift for her when she gets back from visiting in laws today I have to pick her up from the airport and give her car back to her in essentially halfassed condition. No manager there at 3 pm on a Tuesday Only told to come back and they'll vacuum it for me but I have to return her car to her today and pick her up from the airport. Not a great experience. I have been a loyal customer to this car wash/oil change facility for years. I got a routine car wash and saw that my driver's side visor mirror was broken upon returning home ten minutes later. I called immediately and spoke to Emil, but wasn't able to return the same day. When I came back, Emil stated that the car wash "doesn't touch mirrors," which is a lie - I would never get my car washed and accept dirty mirrors, and every time I've gotten it washed they DO clean the mirrors. I get mailer coupons all the time for this place so I thought I would give them a try. Truth be told I did look up the Yelp reviews and was not impressed but have always seen cars going in so I rolled the dice. I mean how hard can it be to wipe down a car right? Well upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly attendant so things were looking good. The cashier was nice too. But the actual scrub down was less than awesome. Now I usually don't parade around my car after the car wash process, I know they guys are hustling and don't want to get all awkward about pointing at missed things. However I do take a look when I get home to see how things went, especially at a new place. First thing thing I notice is the tires and lack of dressing. I don't like it all gooped up but I do like to see it was applied since I paid for it. I could only see some random over spray here and there, probably from some rim cleaner. I went on to look at the body and saw dirt left on in various areas. And the side mirrors were also very dirty like only the "hand wash" was done and not a final wipe and windex. Since there were so many things missed that were paid for I can help to wonder if I even got the "rainbow wax" and "sealer wax" too. Most car wash places have a window to see the car go thru and at least amuse me with the wax, "bright colored foam", application. This place did not so who knows. This car wash was always just ok. It's been years since I came here. They raised the prices as everyone else has. However when I came today around 10am not a car in sight. I was trying to decide on what wash but the guy (manager I'm told) rushed me to the front. I told him I was trying to decide what options. However he ordered me to the front and to get out and look. Was putting my car in car wash mode and he asked "do you know what wash you want?" I hadn't even had a chance. I told him no I haven't had a chance to look you ordered me to the front. He explained it was to be sure to not block other cars.... We looked back together and not a car in sight. "Well what if a car came?" Was his response. I waited a good long minute and no cars ever came. He has 4-5 lanes! He's just brash and totally rude. His job isn't rocket science nor is he busy. $26.99 for the worst wash ever. Stood there frustrated watching this guy start by wiping all my windows while the water spots dried on my paint which tells me they don't even know how to wash a car. He spent 10 seconds wiping down each rim so they're still dirty. When he was done I walked him around my car and literally said "why can't you see all this dirt still on my car? I've been going to this car wash for several years with the same vehicle, which is a four-door sedan . Yesterday I went to get my car washed and the guy that was writing the ticket told me that my car wouldn't fit on their equipment and that I would have to pay an additional $20 for total of $40. If I wanted to have my car washed. It would have to be washed by an individual person and not go on their equipment , I told him my car has gone on the equipment since I purchased it 13 years ago and I've never had a problem and then I felt he was trying to scam me. Do not, I repeat DO NOT trust the pumps at this gas station. I made a purchase for gas at the pump and my pump would not work. I went inside and (trusting that it could be rectified) asked for help. They had me run the transaction again because they said it had not gone through and this time I looked and the money was taken from my account immediately. I go back to the pump and once again no gas would come out. I took my receipt inside and explained that I still did not have gas. They said that there was a technical error on their system and that they refunded my transaction noting that the money should be back in my account on Monday. Today is Friday. ‍ I'm in difficult times due to being out of work (industry strikes) and I didn't have another card on me. I was extremely low on gas so this was a scary situation and one that I've never experienced. Fearing running out of gas, I begged them to rectify this for a sincere customer considering that the issue was their pump. I even showed my account balance and receipt. This all fell on nonchalant ears (four employees including the manager) EXCEPT for a young man named KENNY! Kenny is the only one who voluntarily helped me in a very special way and I will never forget his kindness. I hope Kenny gets a promotion to management so he can save this gas station and help earn consumers trust or that Kenny is given the opportunity to work elsewhere and for a company that truly values their customers as he clearly does. I would give 0 stars if I could but I am giving one ONLY because Kenny really cared and showed it and as a consumer I am grateful. This was the only location I ever went to for the last 10+ years but they changed owners and the service isn't as good at all! Actually not even close to what it use to be. I took my car here and when it was done there were spots still all over the car. I mentioned it to the guy drying it and he quickly said, "I will get the manager". I said, "yes,please".. the owner blamed it on birds and said they couldn't spend the time on it. The funny thing is, I have gone there for years and never had a problem. I park it in the same place and the same bird poop is on it. Nothing has changed so why couldn't they clean it this time?? Not to mention they have raised the prices. I asked for the car wash/oil change special. The guy that serviced my car seemed annoyed that he had to deal with me not knowing the difference between synthetic oil and regular oil. He didn't take the time to explain the difference and just chose synthetic (the more expensive option). He also decided on his own to change my oil filter for which I don't even know if he needed to be changed. (The car only has 30k miles on it.) He didn't show it to me which has been my experience at other businesses I've gone to. Then the car wash! I get that it's a free car wash but it doesn't mean that you don't do the service well. I specifically emptied out my trunk because I had just went to the beach and had a ton of sand in there. The car wash dude literally opens the trunk and closes it. I'm watching him do this so I think oh ok the guy prior to him vacuumed the trunk. But no. Neither person who was servicing my car vacuumed my trunk and one specifically looked in the trunk. I don't know if he thought I was saving that sand but he did nothing. In any case since he opened the trunk and checked it, I didn't question him when I traded my ticket for my keys. To top it off he left a dirty cleaning towel in my back seat which I did not notice until I got home. Never again... anyone know of a reliable oil change/car wash business? It was Saturday morning and my car was a bit dirty so I decided to get it washed. I had just filled up at United Oil and this was the closest full-service car wash...I had never been to them before. After figuring out how to get to the drive in where the vacuums are I got out of my car, put the key on the dash and opened the trunk. There was no line of cars waiting. The guy who takes the orders was standing in the middle with his back to me doing nothing. My first thought was to just leave...this was going to be a bad experience. I was already there so I thought how bad can this be? I figured he would turn around and come to get my order. He did not (He had to see or feel me approach since there were no other cars there). The vacuum guy came over and we both started staring at the order taker; still nothing. Finally, after a few minutes the vacuum guy yelled at the order guy to come over. He did, but with huge attitude like he wanted to fight me! He then asked as if he didn't care " what do you want?" I looked at the pricing board, which was not clear, and told him a wash and armor all on the tires. He basically threw a ticket at me with just 26 written on it. I went inside. There were 2 people ahead of me paying for gas. Both attendants were pleasant. I gave the guy helping me the ticket and my credit card. He charged me $26.99. The actual car wash didn't take long...not that many cars. When my car came out someone got to it almost immediately...finally a good sign? No, he stopped drying my car and went somewhere else for 5 minutes. When he came back he seemed to be doing a good job and finally waved that the car was finished. I walked over and notice that there was no armor all on the tires and asked him to do it. He was VERY pissed off that I asked him to do a service which I had paid for. I wasn't in his way, but he kept yelling at me to move out of his way ( I was standing by the driver's door). As he was doing the tires I started looking around my car. I noticed that he had not wiped the rear passenger window and the car had not been vacuumed very well. I asked him to wipe the window and he wiped the back seat. I left with beads of water on the window and blew off asking to have the car re vacuumed. Overall, I have never had a worst experience getting my car washed! Most of the time I don't even think about it. I grew up in the SCV and know a huge amount of people who live here. On my past car, a car wash guy standing on my tire to clean the roof leaned too hard on a plastic trim piece and broke it. He said nothing. Today, I found a gash on the rim of my two month old car. Hmm. I'm a little torn on my experience here today, probably because I actually took the time to really look at my car after it was done. Let me preface this by saying I've been here a handful of times and never had any major issues. But then again, I never really paid THAT close attention when I got into my car. I figured, it looks shiny and smells good, let's go! Today, when I got into my car after the wash, I realized that while everything looked clean, it kinda wasn't. I have plastic mats over my floor mats and they were just thrown back in. They didn't vacuum thoroughly, like, at all. I had scraps, dirt and stuff that should've easily been sucked up in their vacuum. There were small dirt stains on my seat and some hairs as well (and they weren't mine AND I have white leather seats), so I quickly scrubbed the dirt off with some wipes from my purse. The outside of the car was immaculate and the gentleman ringing me up was really helpful and offered me a stamp card. I was just disappointed by the condition of interior after paying $25 before tip. Pretty sad cause I used to love coming to this place, but now I can't trust anyone there. Today, April 4 2019, between 1100 am and 1145 I was at the store to purchase gas and a snack. A "cookie+ protein" after opening the wrapper I broke off pieces and at them as I pumped gas. If I could rate this place lower than a 1 star, I would. I have been coming here for many years and I never have had an issue until my horrible experience today. When the worker was done with my car, I walked over and my young daughter got into the backseat and let me know something was broken. I walked around to the other side of my car and to my surprise, the entire back panel of my passenger seat was broken off and laying against the seat. I was never informed that the seat was like this and it certainly wasn't like that when I first brought it in. I called a worker over and he advised me to speak to the manager. The manager (Emil) and I walked out to my car and without any hesitation, he says "We didn't break that, it was already loose." Mind you, I never passed blame onto anyone, I asked for it to be put back the way it was when I brought it. He refused and said it was my issue to fix. I asked for my money back because he clearly wasn't going to repair it or do anything about it, he responded with "Why would I give you a refund, the car was washed." I argued that this was unacceptable and any customer sitting there would be upset. Never would I have ever imagined that this man would get into my face and tell me to leave and continuously say they didn't break it. I have gone to this car wash for oil changes and washes for over 10 years. Earlier this month my wife had our vehicle detailed. When she got the car back she saw a one inch tear in the passenger's seat. The manager, Emil, acknowledged his employee tore the seat with the vacuum but refused to pay for the repair on the grounds that the seat must've had prior damage (although none was observed by the employees). Emil was dismissive and told me he did not have time to resolve my dispute because he had a car wash to run. They lost a loyal customer over a couple hundred dollar repair. The best and most careful car wash is me. No one wipes every spot and door jamb and engine bay better than me. When I'm a lazy deadbeat wimp who cannot find an hour to do his own wash because of lame excuses like working and family responsibilities, I take it to the next best place. I haven't found a car wash in the SCV that does as careful a wipe and dressing job as Crista. The staff takes more time with your car than most places I have tried. Is it perfect? No - but it's the best I can find in this valley. They use good microfiber towels and the people have been trained to some degree to methodically wipe down your car. If it's still dirty after going through the wash I've seen them run it through again to get the stubborn mud and dirt off your ride. If you know of a more thorough car wash for a decent value I'd like to hear about it. read more

Half way decent carwash. Come here for the oil and wash special. Oil guys upsale me on some products. Say if I want the car wash k said yes. Oil gets changed. I walk over to were the car has been taken to get washed. I asked of I could upgrade. They say no. Should have been done with the oil guys. So, not only did I not know that but now I can't upgrade to what I actually wanted. The oil guys didn't mind mentioning upgrades for oil and other fluids but completely failed to mention anything about options for the car wash portion. I go inside to ask the person at the register. Just a blank stare and no effort to help. If you're here for just one or the other I think the place can get the job done. If you're hear for the special. I always use Crista for my oil changes. I've been going for 3, maybe 4 years? They are very professional and have a good knowledge of cars. The man who takes your car and writes up your invoice always has good suggestions of things to check. I keep every invoice in a folder in the glovebox to review how long it's been since I last changes the filters or things like that. He's never pushy always fair. I absolutely trust him with my family minivan. The complimentary car wash is great too. They clean and vacuum the whole car! This is perfect since I have three little boys tracking in plenty of dirt over the few months in between each oil change. A while ago I went in for an oil change and then immediately went to SAM's club for gas. There seemed to be a leak from the engine so I drove directly back to have Crista check everything was ok. They told me it was probably water from the car wash dripping off the hood but still they took it in and checked everything out. They even walked me through the engine top and bottom to show me there was no signs of leaking. I was able to drive away confident that it had just been some dirty water left over from the wash. After that I had no problems and no more dripping. I really appreciated that even though I'd been worried about nothing, they still were respectful and professional.
