Their produce department offers an expansive selection that's always fresh. Their liquor department is decently sized and even offers the option to create your own 6 pack. The catering is great- every time we order food from here, everyone raves about it. My family has been getting custom cakes from this ShopRite for many years and they're always delicious! Also, the prepared food is really good and is a great option for nights you don't feel like cooking. Pro tip: park to the right hand side of the building near the ShopRite From Home parking (adjacent to where Bed Bath and Beyond used to be). Super easy to navigate your cart to and to get in and out!

The renovated layout is a definite improvement, making it easy to navigate the spacious aisles. It's especially great for those big pre-holiday trips when you need a wide variety of items. It is a convenient option for most grocery needs, especially if you're not picky about produce or using the pickup service. Needed to grab a few things for dinner, and the holiday weekend. The staff is very helpful, plenty of parking. The prices are average, but they do have excellent sales!

Plus, they pack the order in very useful reusable packaging bags. Wow! We have use the service 3 times while I recover and will continue to use I going forward. Try it, you will save time.

Feta is the secret , Not much variety of brands for basics as WF own line takes over and undercuts others . Sadly . I try not to buy WF brand, we know the story . Wish they would add more cashiers . WF lost its charm because of that . Also note both customers and workers should try to refrain the speaker phone during lunch in cafe but unfortunately no turning back on poor social skills . It ruined the vibe overall . There is an outdoor patio with great sun in warmer months. Kiddos are so cute in this store. Lost my spark for WF. Friendliness is limited both customers and staff. Sure it's not easy working here .

This place has everything Italian your heart desires and more. They have an amazing long display of homemade prepared foods. It's the biggest one I've ever seen for an Italian market in NJ. You can find chicken cutlets, broccoli rabe, arancini, carbonara cappellini, potato and cheese croquettes, cakes, fruiti de mare salad, several types of seafood salads, crab cakes, eggplant parm, sicilian eggplant, jumbo fried shrimp, specialty burgers and sliders, several types of prepared salmon, grilled and roasted vegetables, an antipasto bar, an entire cheese department with imported and homemade cheeses, such as homemade mozzarella, bocconcini, basket cheese aka"formaggio da pasta filata" ( yes and not just at the holidays) and homemade ricotta. They have tons and tons of all different types of olives. Uncle Giuseppe's sells Italian and imported specialty products. They have a fresh meat department, a fresh fish department, a full deli, fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh pastas, a variety of homemade ravioli's, a coffee bar with assorted expresso beans, and other flavored beans you can grind. A variety of Imported canned tomatoes and products from Italy. Homemade peanut butter you grind on the spot fresh with no additives. They have a nice selection of imported olive oils and vinegars. There's a hot takeout bar with meatballs, different kinds of pasta, chicken and vegetables. They even have a section where they make a variety of homemade pizzas. For dessert they have a bakery department that sells all types of Italian cookies, cakes, breads, pastries you name it they have it. As I walked around there were employees giving out samples of a variety of foods. Everything I tried was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. This store has everything neatly displayed and very clean. I spent 2 hours here. I bought their brand of homemade imported extra virgin olive oil, antipasto, cheese & spinach ravioli's,bread, dried farro, vegetables, and cheeses. This store is a bit pricey but the quality and variety are simply amazing! There is a large free parking lot. You can grab a shopping cart, and near the entrance there are a few handicapped spots. I will definitely be back it's worth the trip. We drove an hour

I remember when this market first opened (during my college years). Though many years have passed,…read moresome things never changed while others did. Produce, meat and fish are still fairly cheap. They always had a good assortment of Asian vegetables (yu choy, gailan, bitter gourd, ect) and still do. Never bought meat or fish (never indicated source, farm raised vs wild caught, antibiotic or hormone free, ect) so I continued to pass on buying these items. They also have an array of Asian goods (mostly Chinese) like frozen meals, canned products, medicine and cookware. They used to have a bubble tea kiosk, that has changed. It was shut down a long time ago, but the signage with the prices still exist. Can't believe small cup of tea was under $3 and a large was under $4 (will mostly likely never see these prices again). Sadly, overall cleanliness declined over the years. Stores like Whole Foods put effort maintaining equipment, overall appearance and clean standards, so older outposts seem sparkling and orderly. Here, it's the opposite (displays that are not clean, dinged and scuffed floors, freezers with condensation buildup, ect). Will still come here once in a while for the fresh veggies and Asian goods.

As we squeezed through the aisles and others squeezed by us, I scoured all the shelves. Fruits / veggies seemed fairly normal, some normal food on every shelf and some Middle Eastern brands. Then you get to the multiple brands of mulberry syrup, the various types of dried sweet olives, the Azerbaijani salsas, and things get fun. This is a Turkish mart, but they branch out in all directions. I found Lebanese, Palestinian, Hungarian... the list certainly goes on. It was fun picking out different foods I felt like trying. They had a pile of fresh-cooked, fresh-wrapped breads made in Irvington. Still good 3 days later, now part of my sandwiches for the week. They sell a lot of sausages (all halal, no pork), but the star is their homemade beef sausage. I grabbed one of those and it's now sliced on those fresh breads (along with the Azerb salsa and some baba ghanoush). And yeah, I did end up with some olives for fun. Great little place if you just want to explore. If you're someone halal and/or from the Middle East, so much the better. Now, you do pay quite a bit more for many of the foods here, most notably where you can find similar brands/products elsewhere. And I noted the small size before, which means they're limited in what they can carry. Some items, like the olives, took up disproportionately much shelf space, squeezing out some of the varieties I would have liked to see more of (like hummus, there was very little to peruse). So that's the star deduction. But with that, do come check out Sultan next time you're on 46.
