It was well stocked, and we were able to find what we needed without asking for further help. The man at the cash register, checked us out, but did not seem to be very happy at work. It would've been nice to greeted with someone with more of a smile. Overall, this public facility is up well and we would return again. The only disappointment was that the hot food areas were not very well stocked, and it was only midday.

I went inside to pay for my gas and asked Jose if he could keep an eye on me while I pumped. Instead, he said, "I'll go outside with you and stay with you." And he did. He stayed right there with me and made sure I felt safe and protected. I honestly can't thank him enough. This was some of the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. The other day I so a progresso chicken broth for $2.79. the next day they had a BOGO but they raised the price first and when you raise the prices that really a BOGO or is that b*******? So they raised the price of $3.88 and then you got the BOGO. Is it illegal I doubt it but there's no competition with only one Winn-Dixie in the area. They even closed the Winn-Dixie on jog just north of palmetto Park road and that one had a kosher butcher kosher deli and a kosher bakery and every time I was in it it was always busy. I don't buy kosher food but I like the deli department and sometimes the produce is good and their meat department is far better than what Publix has. When I think about eating steak I never think about going to Publix because it just isn't that good. So yesterday I was looking to get some olive oil and the 32 oz had a BOGO for 25.99 but the 68 Oz not on a BOGO was $26.99 which is actually a penny of an ounce than the great BOGO they offered. So just out of curiosity I went on Amazon to see how much the 68 Oz would be and it was $18.99 and if you set up a recurring order you could take 25% off and there was another deal also that made a little lower I think it came out to $13.48. I hope the Winn-Dixie on Jog and Hypoluxo stays and that may be the only one that's left so it probably won't stay. If they go I will miss the meat department because they always run decent sales. Last Thanksgiving no two Thanksgiving ago I put a rib roast because I walked in there and there was one rib roast in the corner that looks like it was super prime with great marbling this is in Winn-Dixie. And it was $4.99 or maybe $5.99 per pound. It should have been $20 a pound for that quality of roast. I didn't feel like making a roast so I cut them into rib steaks and they were magnificent. Publix also had a rib roast which was I think $2 more and it was garbage with no marbling. That's what you get away with when there's no competition all that's left now is that one store on Hypoluxo and jog although I understand that a BJ's supermarket is going to open up in the location where the Winn-Dixie was on Atlantic and Military. I used to think Publix is only good for bogos but you can't even trust bogos anymore not from them and maybe all the supermarkets are doing it who knows.
