I love this location. The store is clean, organized and the people working here are great. The deli department goes out of their way to help you. I really like their sandwich area because they scoop the dough out of my sub without any hesitation. Most other Publix deli's do this too, but they are just so nice here. This Publix was well kept. We went today to pick up some lunch. Our submaster, Dot, created our sub with great attention to detail. She was in a pleasant mood and this was so different from the times that we visited the Publix located near our home.. hopefully management recognizes her great service! We collected a few other items to complete our picnic meal from the bakery, although there was no customer service representatives for the bakery in site. It was well stocked, and we were able to find what we needed without asking for further help. The man at the cash register, checked us out, but did not seem to be very happy at work. It would've been nice to greeted with someone with more of a smile. Overall, this public facility is up well and we would return again. The only disappointment was that the hot food areas were not very well stocked, and it was only midday. read more

Not our usual Publix but Dad said that there was something on the shopping list here that he wanted which isn't in the other supermarket. We found it. This is a large format Publix, very clean and fully stocked. Definitely one of the better ones. Produce, deli, fish and meat counters all very nice today. Grocery aisles were tidy and leveled. Today was the first time I ran into an employee who was NOT willing to help me. Rebekka was at the customer service desk. I went there to ask her if they had anymore of a certain beverage item. I also told her that there was one more on the shelf but that I couldn't reach it. She picked up her electronic device and promptly told me that she didn't know and we'd need to ask the manager. I said, ok - where is the manager? She said I should come back later because he was "on lunch." It was 8:40 am. I then asked for the assistant manager and she told me he was "on lunch" as well. She never offered to get someone to retrieve the one that I couldn't reach. I walked around the store and quickly ran into Manager Danny. I explained the situation and, after showing me another manager on the floor, found out that they didn't have anymore. Danny climbed up and retrieved the final TWO bottles (I had missed one) from the back of the top shelf for me. I went to Publix in the SanMarco shopping center in Delray Beach. Always shop there . They are running an ad ( company wide). I asked for the granny smith applesauce which is on sale. Told they did not have any. The applesauce might be on today's truck later on. I then went to the produce department for bananas. The display was basically empty. I asked the gentlemen who was sorting the leftover bananas if he had more. He was too busy to answer my question because he was talking to another employee . very disrespectful. I left and went to The publix at Wentworth Farms. I was treated like a valued customer. San Marco employees have to be retrained to respect customers. read more

Rude staff, No service, No parking. One star is too much for this Publix store at the Shoppes at Woolbright in Boynton Beach, FL. There is no self check out and the cashiers at the checkout are extremely rude and lazy. The other cashier (just one) was very busy and my cart was not that full. The young Nasty girl refused to help and while she had no customers and insisted I go to another cashier because I had too many items. There were multiple staff standing at this cashier chatting. My handicapped husband was outside sitting in the heat and had a bad day walking. I tried to explain that I had to get back to him but no help. I told her several times that I was ready to leave the cart and skip checking out. I finally left and decided to avoid Publix as I never had issues at Walmart, Fresh Market, Sprouts, Whole Foods, Winn Dixie, Trader Joes and other Publix locations with better staff. My husband was more important, so I took him home and went to a great Winn Dixie within 1 mile of my house. I found all of the items I was looking for at better prices as the Shoppes at Woolbright location was lacking selection. I spent more than $100 but finished my grocery shopping. The checkout was extremely friendly. I plan to go to Winn Dixie at Hypoluxo and Jog in Lake Worth FL. A much better location as there is also adequate parking with no stress. The Shoppes at Woolbright handicap parking is never available, a nightmare to find any parking close to the shopping with easy access for my husband. read more

This Publix has so many friendly people. It's a bug Publix however the set up is a little off compared to all the other ones I've been too. However they have a kosher section which I haven't seen at other locations. Also because of COVID there's always someone watching the carts and wiping them down when you go in which is nice because not all grocery stores are as on top of that. read more

The other day I went into Publix at Woolbright and Jog. I put on my gloves and mask. At checkout I asked for the cashier to scan my item as I held it up to her. She said there was no hand-held bar code reader available. I noticed she was not wearing a mask and neither was the bagger. This freaked me out. Why were the customers wearing protection, but not any of the employees, including outside cart collectors??? I wanted to tell the manager, but it scared me to stay in the store a moment longer. The Manager of this store (Man in pink shirt, bald head) is very kind and proper. Good person to have at the head of the store and it seems like he keeps a pretty tight ship. Outside of typical "Covid-19" manufacturing delays, I do not have a problem with this store choice. Came here for coconuts since they weren't in season I crossed my fingers & walked inside. Thank goodness they had coconuts & they were 2 for $5. While there I got a tree leches cake which was really good. While waiting on line one of the cashiers from customer service helped shorten the 10 items or less line so I was able to check out quicker. So nice. read more

This is a typical mire than other grocery stores. They have a good butcher shop there that customize they customize any meat package you want. The subs are usually pretty affordable inside the store. The selection is that of an average grocery store. Still a little more on the expensive side. They have a Redbox inside. And can use an ATM there as well. read more

Whenever i get a new car my first stop in the past decade has been to stop at the nearest publix and get a mini sticky sunpass. So on the way back i went to the usual publix near my house and to my surprise they were out of the mini sunpass. This forced my hand and for the first time in years i had to go to a different publix location. Now i go past this publix often but never to it as it is not close to our place. The good thing was they had the sunpass, so the trip was a success. I didn't get a chance to look around as i was in and out but the publix is what you usually expect from it. Lots of parking available. The staff is super nice and willing to help at a moments notice. In and out in 5 minutes and that is what i like about publix. You can get what you need and not have to spend the whole day in there like some other supermarkets. read more

If you're going to order subs, just don't do it online... 2nd time doing it and they get it slightly wrong and still get charged for it. Honestly, best thing to do is come in and order it in person - this way you know exactly what you are getting rather than wait till you get home to find out. Still love this place though... Nobody's perfect but this is a very good store. How lucky we are to have this cornucopia in our back yard. The associates and the management are almost better then we have a right to expect. My wife and I are regular habitué and we consider ourselves fortunate to have this Publix store in our domain. I always come here to get groceries since it's right near my house. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the store is always clean. They have weekly BOGO's and other sales, so I make sure to stop by to take advantage of them. I'd stay away from the costmetics and non-food items because you can get them cheaper somewhere else, but sometimes you have to pay for the convenience of only making one stop. What else can I say, it's Publix! Their subs are awesome!! Great for tailgating or parties. They have excellent platters. They have to be doing something right if there's a shitload of locations all around South Florida. read more

Will be ready in 30 minutes...great! 1 minute prior to it being "ready" I'm walking in and past customer service. My phone rings, you're "out". But willing to make me something else. I wouldn't be so pissed if it wasn't the same exact thing you did to me the first time I attempted to order from here. It's not hard to make a phone call as soon as you see the order come in. Obviously if you live in most areas of any town S FLA you will have multiple choices for food shopping. I have 6 Publix within what would be considered the drive to the closest supermarket in my home town up north. There are 3 Walmarts with food within the area as well. I admit it I enjoy food shopping and this Jog Rd Publix is my favorite store. I enjoy the discovery of new items, the hunt for BOGO's, the affirmation that I know what's healthy, exchanges with fellow customers in the isles looking for this or that, pondering sugar and salt content, or the quest to find suitable substitutes for less money. Sometimes these exchanges end with a chuckle. Add a catchy tune and I am in a good mood. I actually enjoy driving or maneuvering the cart around the store. (Ya I know I never grew up, In fact mom just told me that for the 237th thousand time just this week.) Some skill is involved in getting around and heaven help the shopper who is blocking the isle with their cart I mean c'mon lady other people are shopping too! I love to talk to stock staff and the service counter gals who I buy my Fantasy tickets from and always tell me good luck to which I say if I hit it big I'll take care of you and I mean that. And I love the cashiers. Not as much as I love nurses or teachers but it's a whole different thing. Cashiers have a special place in my heart as they are the last line and a pleasant exchange about the things I found, how I'm buying all healthy items and how much I have saved and telling me to have a nice day can actually make my day. And tell me if this is weird, I get a kick out of the unique cahiers names. I have encountered hundreds by now, my 13th year here. I always try and pronounce the name and then ask is that right? Sometimes I ask them if their parents really named them this unpronounceable 4 syllable multiple vowel name that ends with isha, always with a light hearted smile of course. For me food shopping is a vital function that I don't mind doing more than once a week at this store. At this Jog Rd and Boynton Beach Blvd store I've found a comfortable place with friendly knowledgeable staff, fair pricing and more than enough selections to keep me interested in eating as more than a sustainable exercise. I don't need Traders Joes, Fresh Market or Whole Foods but wouldn't complain if one were closer. You never know when you may want to branch out and sample some newfangled BBQ sauce. I'm not much on buying beef or fish so I cant comment on that nor Pharmacy or household goods but I can say the produce here is consistently fresh. I have never had any sour grapes here. With regard to freshness I look at white mushrooms to see if they are white, the leaves on lettuce to make sure there is no browning wilt or worse, the bottoms of broccoli to make sure of no oxidation and I figure a sweet potato is a sweet potato and an apple is an apple unless your into different variety's and the same with onions. Twenty bucks goes a long way when your a salad guy. I will finish up by saying that the submarine sandwiches here can't be beat. Better than any chain you can think of. I noticed that Publix subs made the Thrillest list of top 50 sandwiches in America and that is pretty remarkable when you think about the million sandwich and sub shops in America. Go Publix!
